Disclaimer: I don't own Bleach or Power Rangers. Please support the official release.

A/N: I got burnt out on RWBY and need something of a break, plus I want to go back to just chilling but not sweating over Bleach's power system which still confuses me to this day XD. Also gonna tackle those Kuroinu stories eventually. But I was feeling nostalgic and really enjoyed reading the boom studios comics, haven't fully caught up yet though, so please don't spoil me XD.

As for using some of Sentai or any other sources, well I have to first finish some of the sentai XD.

In The Distant Past lost to time.

Once, there was one world. But then, it splintered apart, forming the world of the living, and various other dimensions, from the dead and beyond.

And in time, memory of the one world faded away in time. To all but a few.

Time marched onward, and the world's formed their own factions, beliefs, but one constant always remained. Good and evil, but the lines became blurry, and true champions of good were lost...

The Command Center

The Present

"Aye yi yi Zordon." Alpha Five fidgeted, the robotic intelligence surprisingly emotional. "These readings. They're not good. You don't think she will come back do you?" There was fear in the machine's voice, the command centered flickered to life, and the giant tube became filled with a blue light, and in the light a giant bald humanoid head appeared.

"We can't dismiss the possibility. And we will need a new team." Zordon's voice held reluctance.

"But Zordon... who would even be worthy?" Alpha Five knew it wasn't as simple as it had been long before. The various worlds held no qualms in butchering each other, with their own dogmas, good and evil were no longer so certain amongst them.

"We will find them. But it will have to start out small. For now we must observe." The center flickered again, the power somewhat weakened. In ancient times past, it had gleamed, and shined with raw power. But in the wars that followed, it was barely hanging on by a thread.

On a distant wall, several screens came to life, one showcasing the world of the living, the other showing the Soul Society, Hueco Mundo, Reverse London. And many more.

Months would pass in the declaration, being an incorporeal being, Zordon didn't need to eat or sustain himself, and Alpha Five was a machine whose upkeep wasn't difficult in the slightest. It was then Zordon sensed something.

"Alpha Five, zoom into Japan, Karakura Town." He ordered, and pressing switches in a rapid manner, Alpha Five did so. And a scene unfolded where a boy with orange hair, fought valiantly to protect his family from harm, it was a noble aspiration, and his courage could not be discounted.

"He could make a great Ranger! Right Zordon?" Alpha Five had to admit, the anger issues the boy was displaying were a little punkish, but he had a good heart.

"He has great strength of heart. However, he is not suited for leadership. Much less a team." Zordon declared. "He is a mighty warrior, but the Rangers greatest strength comes from unity. Ichigo Kurosaki could be a great ally, and maybe perhaps even a Ranger later on. But for now, he is not ready." Zordon however decided to keep watching the boy. It was clear that something was happening in the world of Soul and Living, and the Hollow world, something that hopefully would lead to more potential rangers.

As the months passed by, various other candidates would crop up. Orihime Inoue was a sweet woman, and though she wasn't a mighty warrior like Ichigo Kurosaki, she held a heart filled with courage and compassion. "She shall be a ranger candidate. Let's hope she accepts, the power of the Pink Coin is quite potent in it's own right. Not many could wield it, without losing their way." One ranger was down. But more would be needed. But it didn't take long to notice another great canidate.

Tatsuki Arisawa, similar in temperament to Ichigo Kurosaki. However... there was something more, she would fight alongside others, willing to work with instead of shouldering it all herself. "She and Orihime are a good duo. And she can without question support the group when they need her most. Yes, she will make an excellent Ranger. The Black Ranger has been found, let's hope she will accept." Zordon nodded in approval.

Following that another Ranger was found. Yasutora Chad, he was strong without question, but more importantly despite his overwhelming strength. He possessed a nature that was more subtle, the man was smarter than he let on. "His potential is great, and there will be a time when his intellect is needed more than his fists. He can make an excellent blue ranger. One can only hope he accepts it." Only two slots remained, the Yellow Ranger, and more importantly, the Leader, the Red Ranger.

"Zordon. I can't help but notice. You've not selected any candidates from the World of Soul, or the Hollow world or other locations." Alpha Five spoke up nervously worried as to how his creator would react.

"You're right my old friend. We should check out the other locations, perhaps I've too much of an attachment to that old world. And there aren't many other candidates left. Uryu Ishida possesses great intellect, and despite his coldness, does possess empathy. But... the boy is bound by a legacy. He would never accept to be a Ranger. And the other ones in Karakura aren't up to the task." So it was that his attention shifted to the world of souls. In that time frame, it was clear something was brewing in the Soul Society. But Zordon did not like what he saw, though the Reapers proclaimed themselves to have responsibilities, it wasn't hard to see the corruption apparent, and though they were strong, they cared not for their charges. The Rukongai was a place of suffering.

And then they sent out two soul reapers to detain Rukia Kuchiki whose only crime was helping a family. And relinquishing her powers, yet Zordon couldn't shake the feeling more was going on. But in the time flow between worlds, he noticed something peculiar occurring in the world of hollows. A hollow was acting... selflessly?

A Vasto Lordes, with blonde hair, piercing green eyes, and tanned skin risked everything to save a lesser hollow. "Her strength is impressive, but the compassion in a world where none should exist. Hopefully she will accept a position as a Ranger." Zordon said.

"AYE YI YI?! Are you serious Zordon? Her? But she is a hollow! And a Vasto Lordes to boot." Alpha Five was confused by this action. "There was a time when Hollows were allies, before Her influence corrupted them. If she doesn't accept then at least we tried." Zordon pointed out and Alpha Five sighed but relented.

Now only one Ranger remained to be found, the one who could lead all the candidates. A tricky position to be sure. A great inner strength was required, but also one who could unite everyone. But so far, Zordon had seen many strong individuals in the world's but none seemed to possess the qualities that one would need. It seemed hopeless, but then it changed...

A simple boy, a medic of all things, risked everything to help rescue Rukia Kuchiki. Despite the risks, dishonor, he did it because he thought it was right. Zordon was on the edge of his metaphorical seat, as the boy known as Hanataro Yamada made it to the Tower where Rukia Kuchiki was waiting. It was then, the boy sealed his position in Zordon's eyes as against all reason where there should be no hope, he was willing to lay his life down on the line, so that Rukia and Ganju could get away.

"And now we've found our final ranger." Zordon smiled, grateful there were still good people enough in the world. But the danger was only going to grow, as he watched the rest of the rescue unfold.

But it wasn't until he saw the one known as Sosuke Aizen venturing into the world of hollows, where his great power and schemes awoke the ancient evil that had resided upon the moon.

It was time to recruit the rangers.

"Alpha. Bring them in!" And thus the war resumed.

To Be Continued.

A/N: Sorry for a short chapter. But I wanted to explain his choices for the rangers. Next Chapter we get to see them in actual action.
