In the Oldale Town Pokémon Center, Weiss and Blake were sitting at a table and Weiss had her Glaceon out of it's Pokémon-ball so she could stretch a little.

"Shouldn't Ruby and Yang have been here by now?" Weiss comments, looking at her watch

Blake's Purrlion ears twitched before she said, "They're on their way. You gotta remember they live over in Littleroot near the outskirts of the town."

Weiss sighed. Then, Ruby and Yang finally arrived with Zwei right behind Ruby.

"Hey, Weiss, hey, Blake. Sorry we're late." Ruby comments, sitting down at the table. "Did we miss anything?"

"No, not really anything of note." Blake comments, gently rubbing Zwei's head. "Mostly just people stopping in and healing their Pokémon and calling people."

Zwei happily yipped before hopping in Ruby's lap, his tail swaying.

"So where's our first stop for a gym badge?" Ruby asked

Weiss pulled out a folded map and opened it saying, "Our first stop for you to get a gym badge would be Rustboro City. That's the first gym in this region trainers typically go to. Gotta go through Petalburg City and a couple of various routes to get there, though. The path we need to take is located north, but before we go we should probably make a start to the Poké-Mart and buy some things like potions, Poké-balls, that kind of thing."

"Well, then let's just buy the things we need and get going." Yang comments, standing up

When they went to the Poké-Mart, Ruby and Zwei were looking over some of the various foods available, Blake was looking at the available berries, Weiss was buying some of the supplies they'd need like potions and antidotes and Paralyze Heals and Poké-balls and that kind of thing. Yang was just waiting outside for the others.

Yang was humming to herself before she heard some footsteps approaching, standing up from the bench she was sitting at. Suddenly, a Mightyena jumped around the corner, snarling and growling at her.

"Whoa, whoa, easy there, fella!" Yang comments

"Okay, judgin by your height and possible age, i'm gonna go ahead and assume you know how this works." One of two Team Magma grunts says as they walked over. "This is a robbery, hand over money and anything of high value and you won't get hurt."

Yang remembered she had some of her Pokémon on her, but one in particular would be useful here.

"And don't try anything funny or Mightyena here can knock you out and cause you to fall to the ground like a stone being dropped from a roof." Magma Grunt #2 adds

"I'm not gonna be going down without a fight." Yang comments, pulling a Poké-ball out and getting it ready to let out what Pokémon was in it. "Blaziklen, show em what you're made of!"

Yang's Blaziken was one that would be around Level 41 to 44, the max height in terms of physical height for a Blaziken, and it huffed a little, everyone stepping back as Blaziken looked at Mightyena, Mightyena staring back.

"If it's a battle you want then it's a battle you'll get, blondie." Magma Grunt #1 comments."Mightyena, use Headbutt!"

Mightyena used Headbutt, hitting right in Blaziken's chest but it didn't seem to be very effective as while Blaziken suffered a little damage, ti didn't seem to be that much.

"Blaziken, use Sky Uppercut!" Yang ordered

Blaziken nodded and when doing so, it was a critical hit! When the Mightyena landed, it was barely standing up, as if it was about to faint.

"Now, finish this one off with Blaze Kick!" Yang shouts

Blaziken delivered a use of the move Blaze Kick and it did the rest of the needed damage and the Mightyena collapsed to the ground, fainted. Magma Grunt growled as he returned Mightyena to it's Poké-Ball.

Magma Grunt #2 stepped up and pulled out a Poké-ball saying, "Let's see if you can handle this!"

The Magma Grunt let out a Charizard for some reason, the Charizard roaring.

"Charizard, Tackle!" Magma Grunt #2 ordered

Blaziken simply jumped over the use of Tackle however before landing behind the Charizard.

"Use Earthquake before the Charizard can start flying again!" Yang shouts

And Blaziken does so, managing to take out at least 25 percent of the energy used for Charizard staying awake, but not fainted yet.

"Use Bulk Up!" Yang shouts

Blaziken used Bulk up, boosting up his strength and defense.

"Now, Fire Punch!" Yang orders

Blaziken used Fire Punch managing to take out at least 30% of the Charizard's energy due to the boosted strength.

"CHARIZARD, TACKLE AGAIN!" Magma Grunt #2 shouts

Charizard used Tackle again, this time landing but only doing about 10% damage, Blaziken getting right back up.

"Now use Earthquake again!" Yang shouts

Blaziken used Earthquake, managing to do more damage to the Charizard, lowering it's energy down to about 38 to 33%.

"Finish it off with Sky Uppercut!" Yang shouts

And Blaziken did in fact finish it off managing to land a critical hit with Sky Uppercut. The Magma Grunts returned their Pokemon before walking off in furious defeat.

"Next time bring something that'd last longer than those two!" Yang shouts

That's when Blake, Weiss, and Ruby stepped out of the Poke-Mart.

"What happened out here?" Blake asks

"Oh, a couple of guys tried to do a robbery but it led to a battle that I ended up winning in." Yang comments. "They had a Mightyena and a Charizard."

"Strange...this place is usually never known for robberies." Blake comments, thinking as she rubbed her chin

"What'd they look like?" Weiss asked

"Well, they had some sort of red logo on their chest, wasn't really much of a letter or anything so i'm not sure who they were working for." Yang comments, rubbing her neck

Zwei hopped to the ground and sniffed some footprints that the goons had left behind, yipping a little.

"What'd you find, Zwei?" Ruby comments before noticing. "Footprints! Nice find. Try to save the scent in case the two Yang saw show up again.

Zwei nodded and did so as they began walking, heading for their next stop.
