I wasn't planning on writing anything about the Trobed wedding because I didn't have any ideas, but then I remembered a peculiar wedding that someone in my family had, and so I knew I had to write this just in time for pride month. Enjoy!

"You know what's romantic?" Troy asked, sliding up to his fiance in their second office chair. Abed was sitting in their first office chair, working on one of his scripts.

"Inspector Spacetime?"

"Yes, but more importantly, The Phantom of the Opera."

"I don't know if I agree with you, but I want to see where this is going."

"Remember when I proposed and you told me that I was allowed to plan our elopement?"

"Yes, with the one simple rule that no one could find out about it until after we're already married."

"Well, I was thinking we could go all out and elope in Vegas, you know, Saved by the Bell style, and I found this place that lets you have The Phantom of the Opera themed weddings."

"I appreciate the Saved by the Bell reference, that's a deep cut too, most people haven't seen The College Years much less Wedding in Las Vegas."

"So you want to do it?"

"Yeah, why not? It sounds bizarre, even for me, but that's perfect for us. I'd be happy to marry you at a The Phantom of the Opera-themed wedding. As long as I don't have to rewatch The Phantom of the Opera beforehand. Do we have to wear costumes?"

"I think costumes are optional, we could just wear wedding suits if we wanted to."

"And miss an opportunity to dress up with my fiance?"

Troy beamed, "I love it when you call me your fiance."

"You're going to love it even more when I start calling you my husband."

Troy shivered with anticipation.

"Alright, then, I just need to start booking things. Pierce would be rolling over in his grave if he knew that some of his family's money was going towards paying for a gay wedding."

Abed laughed, "I'm almost looking forward to telling everyone that we had a wedding behind their backs. Everyone will be like, 'I knew it.' And then they'll get mad they weren't invited. It'll be just like old times."

"Oh, when we tell everyone, remind me to remind Jeff that he owes me money."

"Why? Did you make a bet that you could marry me?" Abed seemed amused.

"No, though I wish I could say I always knew I was going to marry you. I made a bet with Jeff about your sexuality."

"Oh, like we did with Frankie after you left. That's no big deal." Troy nodded and went back to booking.

Abed paused a minute and then, "I told you I was bisexual when we met."

"Yeah, that's how I knew I was going to win the bet. I wasn't a millionaire back then."

"Makes sense."

They sat in comfortable silence for a bit, Abed going back to working on scripts and Troy working on booking their theme wedding before Abed spoke again.

"I always knew I was going to marry you."

Troy looked up in surprise, "You did?"

"I did. Maybe not right when I met you, but not too long after that. I knew I really liked you, more than I'd ever liked anyone in my life. And when it seemed like you reciprocated those feelings I started imagining a future for us. Even though we didn't call it that back then I knew you loved me, I've always known. This is the future I wanted."

Troy wrapped his arms around Abed.

"Me too. Even when I didn't know it, I'm glad we ended up here."

"The Phantom of the Opera is a surprise," Abed admitted.

"Yeah, but it is pretty in character," Troy laughed.

"I love you, Troy. I am so excited to be your husband."

"And I am so excited to be yours."
