Half an hour later, Dale and Lord Gregor were standing in the room with the mystery man who was still out of it.

"He's definitely a Devil," said Lord Gregor as he looked at the horns on the man's head. Dale had removed his hood once they transferred him to the bed in order to make sure of this.

"But are you sure that he knows anything about Latina or her father?" he asked.

"He mentioned Rag's real name, could be a coincidence but I need to know," said Dale.

"I get why you did it, but don't make this a habit, I won't always be there to bail you out of trouble while in my territory you know," said Lord Gregor with a sigh.

"Sorry to have caused such a problem," said Dale. Suddenly, they heard a moan coming from the man as he began to move.

"Sir, can you hear me?" asked Dale.

"Where… where am I?" asked the man while opening his eyes.

"You're at an inn, we found you wounded and bleeding heavily so I healed you the best I could," said Dale.

"I… I have to go," said the man while trying to stand, which Dale stopped him from doing.

"You're not in any condition to move and the people after you have been dealt with," said Dale.

"Plus, I think I can help you in your search for Smaragdi," he said.

"You know, Smaragdi, where is he?" asked the man.

"I'm afraid that he had died before I found him, but I made sure to bury his remains and will be willing to take you to him after you heal," said Dale.

"What about a little girl with a broken horn, he had his daughter with him," said the man.

"She's alive, I actually took her in as my daughter after finding her in the forest not too far from here," said Dale.

"Please, I have to see her right away," said the man.

"After you answer a few questions that we have for you and check to make sure what you say is true," said Lord Gregor.

"Very well, I can feel that you two mean what you say, so ask me whatever you want," said the man.
