The next day Bobby called Eddie into his office first thing in the morning, he wanted to shout at Eddie for having been the one to make Buck spiral, but if it hadn't been for the wake up call Athena had given him he would still have been treating Buck equally as bad, so he knew he had no right, but Eddie needed a wake up call to, he needed to know that his words were the ones that set things of with Buck, and he needed it before it was too late to be repaired.

"Eddie, please take a seat" Bobby said pointing at one of the chairs opposite him and Eddie sat but didn't say a word, he was waiting for Bobby to let him know why he was here. "You didn't come to the family meeting yesterday" Bobby said, not accusational just a statement. Eddie looked down at his feet and started fidgeting with the hem of his sleeve

"I'm sorry Cap, I couldn't" Eddie said

"I get that you're angry with him Eddie" Bobby began

"I'm not angry" Eddie defended in an angry tone

"Okay what then?" Bobby asked

"Nothing" Eddie said, he was going into defensive, putting up walls

"I know he hurt you Eddie, but you hurt him too" Bobby said, figuring it was easier to just be blunt about this

"Excuse me, I hurt him?" Eddie huffed getting angry. "Listen Cap I don't know what he has said to you" Eddie began

"No you don't, because you didn't show. But he told us where it all started and it started with you" Bobby said. "You're exhausting, that's what set it off" Bobby said, Eddie needed the wake up call. Eddie looked at him with horror

"I… I didn't… Cap that was months ago" Eddie stammered, not knowing what to say but knowing exactly when he had said those words, he had seen the hurt in Buck's eyes that day and it still haunted him, he hated that he had been the one to put such a hurt in those icy blue eyes, and now to be told that that was what had led to Buck's condition now. "No there has to have been more to it than that" Eddie said in disbelief

"Of course the is more to it than that, but that was where it all started" Bobby said exhausted

"No, Dios mío qué he hecho" Eddie said

"You need to talk to him Eddie, set things straight between you two" Bobby said

"How Cap, I can't even look at him not thinking it's my fault, now knowing that it is… I just can't" Eddie said and left the office, Bobby contemplated whether to stop him but decided it might be better for Eddie to just cool of and take everything in

The next couple of days were hard on everyone, but Eddie most of all. After his conversation with Bobby, Eddie had become more withdrawn from the others and started to exercise more and more, going at the punching bag every down time they had. They were all starting to get more and more worried about Eddie, at mealtimes he didn't say anything, just hurriedly ate his food and then got up to go punch some more before the bell would ring.

"Eddie?" Hen asked, approaching slowly as to not startle him, but Eddie didn't respond, he just kept punching. Hen wanted to yell, but she knew nothing good would come from it so she waited patiently. "Eddie?" Hen tried again, this time a little louder. They had all talked about it and decided that for now Hen was their best option in getting through to Eddie, if that didn't work they would try Athena, and if it came to it Maddie.

"What?" Eddie snarled, turning abruptly to face Hen, well at least that was progress she got him to speak to her even if it was just one word

"How's it going?" Hen asked, trying to ignore how angrily Eddie was looking at her

"Fine" Eddie said, turning back to the punching back. 'Okay, no more nice talk' Hen thought to herself

"We're starting to get worried about you Eddie" Hen said

"What for" Eddie said punching the bag between each word

"This" Hen said, gesturing towards Eddie and the punching bag

"I'm fine" Eddie said, continuing to punch the bag

"Right I can see that" Hen said sarcastically, rolling her eyes as she did so

"Leave me alone Hen" Eddie said annoyed

"Why, so you can end up like Buck?" Hen said, knowing she was striking a soft spot, it had Eddie pause and turn on her

"What did you say?" Eddie said stepping closer, his temper starting to boil

"I said so you can what, end up like Buck?" Hen said again, not letting Eddie intimidate her

"I'm not like him" Eddie snarled

"Like who, Buck?" Hen said, pushing her luck

"I warn you Henrietta" Eddie said, getting more angry

"Or you'll do what Diaz, hit me" Hen said, she knew it was stupid to keep anger Eddie, but she had to get through to him

"Maybe I will" Eddie said

"I thought he was your best friend" Hen said, again she could see she had hit a raw spot

"Hen" Eddie said in a warning tone, Hen took a step back contemplating her move, she decided to better leave and Eddie turned back to punching the bag
