Lunch came right after the elections, and you could bet that that one friend ground decided to sit together.

"This rice… Is tasty!" Ochaco said in a nearly comical fashion as he took the first few bites after sitting down, which in turn started the chatting activity of the whole group to spark up, logically first settling on the most important topic of one of them being Class President, "I'm just a little worried about whether or not I can really be class president." Izuku began, shaking less than he usually would in a situation like this as he was surrounded by people he atleast felt comfortable with, getting responses like "You can.", "Worry not.", and most importantly, "People voted for you, have some confidence."

"Midoriya, your grit and decisiveness in a pinch… Make you perfectly suited to lead us all. That's why I voted for you." Tenya said to build further on his simple words from just before, "I also voted for you, Midoriya." Tanjiro chimed in after while opening his bento. "You always struck me as someone who knows what he's doing, so I decided you would make a good leader." he continued, while taking note of Ochaco's way of eyeing his bento.

"I think we all humbly made the choice we felt was right voting for you." Tenya continued, to which Tanjiro chimed in after nodding, "You were great during the training, I think you should take more pride in the ideas you get."

""Humbly"?" Izuku commented, taking note of Tenya's rather unusual way of speaking, so logically… There's only one conclusion, "The way you talk… Ida… Are you a rich kid!?" Ochaco spat out, suddenly swerving her head around to face Tenya again directly.

"I don't like people to know, so I try to hide it, but… Yes. Mine is a renowned Hero family name, and I am the second son." he answered, reluctantly. "Whoa, cool!"
On the topic of 'rich', also known as having money, and 'cool', Ochaco decided to spit out the other thing on her mind, "Hey Kamado, you always come with your own food to school. Why don't you try some of the cafeteria food?"

Tanjiro chuckled a bit nervously, he did in fact never explain that so he might aswell now, "I get really sick when I eat anything but raw meat, a Quirk side effect, apparently."

"Oh, really!? That's terrible!" Ochaco blurted out, nearly standing up from her seat to tower over the boy trying to just eat, who smiled back and responded, "Not really, I got used to it. Besides, my Legal Guardian owns a butcher shop, so it's not like I'll end up running low on things to eat. Besides, it's not like it'll hold me back if I do end up becoming a Hero."
Ochaco nodded, but her expression didn't change.
On the topic of Tanjiro sticking out, Tenya decided to word a question he had himself, "On the topic of your Quirk, Kamado. Why do you wield a substitute sword when your strength itself should be enough?"

Tanjiro looked at Tenya for a bit, "I guess swordplay is kind of a hobby of mine, so I figured the skills I got through sword training shouldn't go to waste."

Suddenly, right after Tanjiro managed to finish his sentence an alarm blared through the cafeteria, sowing chaos and panic into the students rather quickly.
The explanation came quick, "Security level 3 has been broken." An automated voice spoke over the speakers, "All students, please evacuate in an orderly fashion."

Logically, being new sparked questions, and Tenya was the first to ask, "What's security level 3!?", getting a response from a student fleeing among the chaos of the flowing wave of students, "It means someone's infiltrated the building! Hasn't happened in my three years here! Anyway, hurry up and get outta here!"

. . .

As expected, the hall was a mess. There was barely any room to breathe or stand properly among the moving mass of people not evacuating in an orderly fashion.
"Oww! What's going on!?
"Such a rapid response to danger! I'd expect nothing less from this great institution!"
"Maybe a little too rapid. Everyone's panicking…"
"Aren't these people trying to be heroes? Why are they panicking so much in the first place?"

It didn't take long before people were starting to get separated, but when you're a strong kid with a good grasp on techniques you'll hold on quick, allowing Tanjiro to atleast somewhat keep the group together and prevent them from being separated in the first place. Though, it does nothing to prevent people from getting pressed against a window.

Luckily however, the fact Tenya got pushed against the window allowed him to see that the infiltrators were merely the press, reporters still trying to get their hands on a scoop way out of their league, utterly swarming the two teachers outside.
"There's no danger. It's just the media! Everyone calm d-", Tenya couldn't even finish his sentence before the shoving caused him to be pressed against the window harder and harder. "What were you trying to say, Ida!? I couldn't hear you!" Tanjiro said as he kept his grip on the group, pulling himself a little closer to the person he just mentioned to hear what they said, "There's no cause for alarm, it's just the media that got in. But I can't see the teachers anywhere."

"Then we should find a way to actually get the message across, but people are panicking too much…! Wait! Midoriya, Uraraka! Do you two have any ideas!?"

The mention of Ochaco's (second) name managed to slip an idea into Midoriya's head, and he wasted no time putting it into action, "Uraraka! Make Tenya float, he'll be able to use his engines to boost himself to a good spot and relay the message!"

While confused, Ochaco decided to do as told, managing to make the student in question float above the crowd, while Tenya was initially shocked by the sudden plan he steeled himself after realizing he'd likely get the same idea, and used his Quirk to boost himself to the end of the hallway, clinging onto the door frame and a lamp and relaying the message to the horde.
Finally, things calmed down.

After things were cleaned up, everyone managed to return to class. With Izuku's self esteem boosted thanks to the events that transpired during lunch, he decided to keep the role of Class President for the time being...
