A few days earlier…
"You're delirious if you think I'm going to be following your lead." an irritated Tomura spoke out to a certain fancy-dressed individual that entered their bar, supposedly responding to the 'League of Villains' assembly request Tomura had put up in an attempt to create an army of Villains that would perform a raid on a certain location U.A. was planning to use sometime in the future.
The same individual that claimed he was the Contractor the fire-slinging Dabi worked for. Though the latter had specified it was simply because of monetary gain.
The same individual who introduced himself as 'Kibutsuji'.
Kibutsuji laughed, a small smile plastered on his usually emotion-devoid face. And he responded after, "It depends, are you willing to push my offer aside just like that. Just to feed your ego? You're not made out to lead an army, so let me do it instead."
The only Kibutsuji got was a glare, though barely visible from behind the accessory Tomura used to hide his face. "What makes you say that?" Tomura responded, scratching his neck in irritation as he was tempted to just turn the man before him to dust on the spot, "It's not like you led an army before. Are you even a Villain? I've never heard of your name."
"I suppose not having heard of it doesn't matter much." Kibutsuji said as he took a stool from the bar and sat down, making himself comfortable, "Afterall, it's merely the name of my predecessor. You could say I used to despise him, and for a good reason. But after he gave me his power, my view of him changed. And I want to use the power he gave me to make others stronger, so I may create my own army." he flatly explained, not paying Tomura's temper mind.
A silence followed, before Dabi decided to step in. While he didn't care about who led the League of Villains, he did care about the drama that sparked between a man he could respect simply because he kept his promises, and what was effectively a kid trying to play king. "You two are just made for each other." he said in a joking tone, "If you care so much about who's the leader, just fight it out or something. Easy."
Tomura leaned forward, expecting to hear more while Kibutsuji just snickered. "Shigaraki, your choice. If you want to fight it out for dominance I'd be happy to."
"Shut it, what makes you so confident?" Tomura responded after snapping his head to face Kibutsuji, and clearly readying his hands to grab hold of the cocky man before him and turn him to dust.
Though, before any of the two could fly into each other's face and destroy the place Kurogiri decided to speak up, "Before you two destroy the bar and each other, try to come to a compromise first."
"A compromise? Hm, I think I have one in mind." Kibutsuji said with not a single change in the tone of his voice. "You had a weapon right, Tomura?"
"It's not finished yet, why are you asking anyways?" Tomura responded, still ready to turn Kibutsuji to dust for whenever the man overstepped his boundaries.
"I'm asking because I have a feeling it's not a real weapon, just a person. So the idea I had is simple, I share my blood with it to 'complete' it as a weapon, and if he performs well. I share it with you all and lead you as I proposed at the start."
"Fine, but only so you can get off my case about it." Tomura finally responded, creating a very unpleasant alliance he wouldn't regret later.
