Chapter 5 - Not a Quirk
Ravaging and destroying, a wave of explosions barreled towards Aizawa who was immobilized by surprise, his own Quirk still had no effect and in a sick and twisted turn of events related to his own train of thought. He was the one being punished.
Until he'd feel a heavy push in his side that threw him aside.
He landed on his back, the air having left his lungs from both the shove and the impact. But he'd quickly stand back on his feet.
Then he saw him.
All Might had arrived.
The two muscular giants of men were staring at each other. Facing off their adversaries before All Might spoke. "Aizawa, I'll handle this one. Help the students."
And then the two fought.
Aizawa nodded, running off to leave the two at it. His first priority was to snatch up whoever it was under that smoke of vortexes. With a single leap upwards and well-aimed launches of his Capture Cloth, he swung around the USJ and immediately reached the target he was looking for who looked at him with emotionless yellow eyes.
No words were exchanged.
But the message got across regardless.
"I'm not telling you." the apparition said a few seconds later, "Or else? You'll defeat me? Capture me and force me to talk? Don't you think that's a bit naive?"
Aizawa waited, he didn't care. Villain Monologues were old and repetitive.
Yet something would shake that repetition up as the apparition continued to berate Aizawa, "You're Eraser Head, right? Your Quirk allows you to nullify the Quirk of whoever you're looking at while it's active."
Silence followed.
The apparition took that as his que to keep talking.
"It doesn't matter whether or not you answer, my point is simple: Your Quirk can't affect our new Arts, they're similar in execution, but from experience I can tell you that they're nothing alike."
"Arts? Are you trying to intimidate me?" Aizawa almost barked back, getting fed up of being monologued to right after his confrontation with the hulk.
He got his answer. "You weren't able to erase that Nomu's explosions, right? It's just like that. You've gotten useless, Eraser Head."
For the second time today his breath hitched.
. . .
"Kirishima! Your right!" Tanjiro bellowed out as he flung through the air to avoid a large flurry of metal bards launched by one of the Villains he was fighting.
A clang followed as Eijiro blocked the incoming fist from the soup-up Villain that was attempting to get in a sucker punch. "Aggh! Dammit! It doesn't matter how many times we switch targets, he just keeps coming for me!" Eijiro cursed out after the impact flung him a few meters backwards, watching as Tanjiro launched himself at the Villain's head again in another attempt to chip away at their armor.
"We need to keep trying!" Tanjiro yelled in response, "We can't just surrender ourselves to them, not when Aizawa is fighting for us!"
The soup-up Villain spun himself around as fast as his frame allowed him to, trying to send an arm flying towards the boy behind him. But his fist greeted nothing again as Tanjiro swiftly dodged the attack with minimal effort.
Their loop repeated itself again, with Tanjiro trying to distract the soup-up Villain while Eijiro fought the lesser baddies. Both sides knew this matchup was in the Students' favor.
While Tanjiro was able to easily dodge any attacks thrown at him by any of these Villains, even multiple at a time, Eijiro could simply bulldoze his way through the baddies. Yet had trouble with the soup-up Villain, which Tanjiro had just as much ease with as the ease he had with the lesser baddies.
This constantly led to Tanjiro distracting the soup-up Villain while chipping away at their Armor in order to try and knock them unconscious with a good strike to a weak point. But he'd eventually have to back up enough to avoid an incoming attack to the point the soup-up Villain could target Eijiro again.
And during this commotion, one of the lesser baddies managed to wrap his barbed wire based Quirk around Eijiro, causing another layer of problems.
"Hey! Get off'a me!" Eijiro yelled out as he tugged and pulled at the wire around his hardened body, leaving him completely open to a sucker punch from the soup-up Villain, sending them flying hard enough to smash down a building's walls almost entirely.
And there, shaking, stood the solution to their problem.
Though neither of the two indoors realized that at the time.
At the very least, it made Eijiro blurt their name out regardless.
"Mineta?!"

Still haven't 100% completed the shit I wanna complete but I don't think I'll finish that in a year. Uh, so yeah. I just went ahead and wrote down two Pages to upload anyways.
