When the female opened her eyes, she found herself in the familiar darkness. She listened to the wind blowing for a while as she swayed in the soft web. It was as if she had been asleep for centuries, she was feeling relaxed. But when she moved she felt like badly beaten. Her face contorted in pain.

The promises of Saman Mountain do not end, do they?

She couldn't even straighten up her back, she wonder if this joyful trip would be her last or not.

She thought of the place where she lived, it was hundreds of kilometers away from here. A small family, retired parents, a married sister with a successful career, and her who was alone, unemployed with a grumpy personality. But I do earn money...

She has been earning money by climbing mountains and recording the trip and posting it on YouNET.

I'm on the top of my life! I am approaching my 30s and neither a homeowner -who wants that after 2000- nor a vehicle license holder -fuck oil companies-... I have a bike... My mama's bike. It is handy... But a motorcycle would be fine too.

She had tried before but failed to pass the driving exam. I hate qualifications. The examiner is making me stressed. Hey hey! These thoughts are all random and going nowhere, Mavi.

"Huhh...Whatever!"She rolled her eyes, offended by her own criticism.

Five meters above her, a half-asleep spider awoke to her trivia self-talk. He scanned the surroundings and focused on her. His eyes saw best in the pitch dark, therefore he easily saw her in daylight clarity. She is awake.

His heartbeat revived with a sweet emotion. He got up from where he was lying. This feeling was making him clumsy. While he was coming out the ridge of the cave; he felt like he had seven left feet, as if possible...

He watched as the girl struggled to straighten up and stretched out her hand.

"Beast?" He didn't understand what she was saying, but he knew she was calling him. He went down with rapid movements, when it landed on the web, the balance was slightly disturbed. He didn't mind, thinking that his web was as strong as blue metal. The girl turned towards him as if she saw him. Trying to move calmly, he reached the girl's side and took her hand carefully. The girl responded with a firm grasp. Her face was filled with curiosity rather than fear. He liked her attitude.

This female has courage, and her calmness makes me feel something different... somehow good. And yesterday, her smile... Even if it was a small smile, the thought of the possibilities made him overly joyed. The girl withdrew her hand, clasped her palms together, and pretended to drink.

The spider creature felt troubled. The sun had not yet set. It was nearly impossible for him to get out. But still, he took the girl in his arms and lifted her up.

He didn't want to make her panic or see the look of fear on her face. Together they made their way through the dark cave. As we approached the waterfall, the cave slowly began to light up.

He closed his eyes with a headache. When the light appeared ahead, he paused and set her down. Even though the girl couldn't see him, she continued to stare at him.

As if to reassure the female, he gently turned her towards the light, patted her back, and pushed her gently forward. The female seemed to understand the implication and began to move toward the light. While she was approaching the light, the man's heart was darkening.

Would she run away?

The female emerged from the tunnel into the familiar square. She was timid as she approached the waterfall. She quenched her thirst with water. Then she washed her face then she looked around a little, no one was coming. If her guess was correct, the beast would stay in the tunnel.

With this thought, she took off the top of her clothes and tried to get rid of sweat and dirt. She washed her hair last and wrung them and tangled them around her head. The sun was low. Time must be around 5 or 6 o'clock? As she looked around, she felt that she had completed what she was going to do.

She stood up, and with slow, limp steps she made her way into the tunnel. When she entered the darkness, she doubted anyone's existence. Still, with insistent steps, she advanced with support from the wall. It was stressful not knowing if she was going to fall to the ground. It was pitch dark for her.

Finally, what she feared came true, her foot stepped on the stone wrong. The female was almost reuniting with the ground by gravity law, but a pair of arms held her back. While he was taking her in his arms, she rested her head on his cold broad body gladly. Both of them was having two-sided feelings, but still that day a relationship was established.

Mavi felt that she had to be patient in all this uncertainty... Fortunately, it was a wise decision for her and that patience paid off.

She assumed that it was 3-4 days since she arrived at the waterfall and there was formed a certain routine in their daily life.

When the sun went down, they went to the waterfall, and during the day she slept or tried to communicate with the beast. The beast was quite gentle and intelligent enough to understand her. There were many flows in their communication but no serious problem has arisen so far.

Ahh... While chewing the root-like fruit in her hand in the dark, she sighed deeply. She was thinking that life would be more comfortable if she could find her bag. The tent, beverage container, night light, mp3, solar battery, energy bars, and some emergency food.

My phone... I am sure it crushed like flour.

But it was not, would she like to go back? Probably no.

But then she thought: You never knew when you need it. Maybe I should check later... when my leg feels better.

But who was she kidding?

A broken leg cannot heal on its own. I cannot climb this mountain alone.

She looked in the direction of the beast. I need the beast to help me. But our communication isn't very good.

After she finished eating, she lay back. The wax swayed lazily and stretched out her hand into the air. The beast changed his position and took her hand in his, this made her smile. Turning her face to the beast, she pointed herself and:

"Mavi. Maa-viiii"

-silence-

"Me, Mavi. Ahh... You may not have a name concept. What should I?... Aah..." She was pointing her finger to herself again: "Maa-viii." A deep voice responded:

"Maa viii." This excited the girl, nodding her head madly:

"Ma vi."Beast:

"Ma vi. Jude." Female with a warm smile:

"Yes. Mavi. Me, Mavi." Now, she is pointing her finger at him:

"You?"

-silence- She wasn't sure she understood herself. While she was waiting anxiously, the deep voice responded with a different word:

"Ma'lina"

"Maal na?"

"Ma'lina." She with a big smile:

"Ma lina."

This moment made his heart flutter. She was calling him by his name.

Until the sun went down, they tried to communicate with random words. But mostly it was hard to reconnect the dots. He carried her to the waterfall. While she was playing with the water, he lighted the fire. The firelight bothered his eyes, but not as much as the sun. But the headache was still inevitable. He felt vulnerable under the bright moon and by the fire.

He was the strongest thing in the forest, even no living creature could beat him. Fire and water were natural handicaps of him.

With that thought, he was restraining his savage nature, avoidant instincts. He didn't leave and remained in front of the fire. While she was exposed to the outside how could he? While struggle continued in his inside, she had no idea how troubled he was. Cause there was no facial expression on his face.

He cleaned the inside of the captured creatures and skewered them into the branch. In his distant memories, information about how the females were fed was revived. Those memories were not his, but his ancestors. While the meat was slowly cooking, he carried the girl to the fire. This female's docile demeanor was quite unique. In his own memories or others, he witnessed those females always had feared the wild beasts. But when he looked at this girl's clothes, he could tell that she was from an entirely different place. That must be the reason for her unfearful nature.

Maybe she came from the stone in the sky.

He could guess from her arm muscles that she was stronger than other women -even with her sicky look-, and also her skin spotless, her face more symmetrical than any other female. She was like a magical creature that had fallen from the sky.

-The sky of the cave exactly and literally.-

This female is different in every way.

She pointed to fire:

"Fire." He thought for a while and answered:

"Ateş?"

"Aa-teş." Beast nodded and handed the cooked meat to the female. She happily took it and started to eat. The beast thought how adorable she was. He never thought that any female would smile this easily when he was around.

Again, my heart is racing, I feel weird...

As if it hurt, he put his hand on his heart and tried to calm down. She studied the beast, it was difficult to understand what he was doing with that flat face.

She put down the empty stick in her hand, in an uncertain tone:

"Ma lina...?" The beast looked at her and sensed her uneasiness. With a crooked smile:

"Ma vi." Mavi was caught off guard by that beastly gorgeous smile.

He carried her back to the edge of the waterfall. He came snatching a bundle wrapped in leaves. His hand slowly reached for her left leg and stopped, as if waiting for her permission. The female nodded to him.

The skin around her leg dissolved. It was hard to bear the smell, but it had taken the bruise out very well. This was the second time she had witnessed the beast change her bandage.

He carefully washed her leg in the water. She was sure that spiders didn't like water, it was fun to watch. While Ma'lina was busy with her leg, she studied his spider body.

It was unusual and fascinating that she wasn't sure if she would get used to this sight.

His black fluffy feathers did not look repulsive. She wanted to touch it. Her attention shifted to his face as he began to rub the material from the leaf on her leg. His long white hair was as calm as the lake, rippling little by little with his every move. He felt uncomfortable because his hair was brushing in front of his face. She gently reached out and pulled his hair to the side. Like deer in the headlights, he stopped this sudden movement. Mavi automatically giggled at this pure sight.

Now their eyes met. Every time she saw his shiny eyes, her heart raced and this excitement was invigorating her adrenaline. He was sensitive to sound, so he detected the speeding beats of her heart, his own beating as well. He tried to focus on the leg and hoped that this calm the situation.

There was a noticeable improvement in the bruises on her leg. Fortunately, painkillers and wound-healing herbs were helpful to her. But judging by the position of the leg, it did not seem possible for the fracture to heal on its own.

Actually, there was a way to radically solve the whole problem. He remembered the shiny stones he had found in the very deep. If the female takes one, the whole fracture would be restored. But... He thought about the possibility that the female might leave him after she got better.

He hated that possibility. As long as her leg doesn't heal, she will remain beside me. After the ointment was applied, he tied the bandage with his own white yarn.
