Tatooine:

The manure-hauler arrives at and lands on Tatooine. Everyone waits by the airlock-ramp while Tyl clearly has a lively discussion in Huttese with a Gran. Sulking, he returns to the others.

"We got a good deal on the manure" Tyl says.

"And the ship?" Bayl wonders.

"Too old, too useless" Tyl shrugs. "I thought he was talking about Fate first."

Fate does pick up on this. "Humor. A degrading comment said to create laughter. I am programmed with the concept."

Kyle takes a look at their stolen ship. "So, we're stuck with this bucket of bolts? Or are we just gonna leave it here?"

"We could leave it" Tyl says. "But there's no guarantee we'll get a transport out of here anytime soon."

Amee is next. "Why not just try another dealer? Someone on this backwater outworld must be in need of a ship."

Bayl shrugs his shoulders. "We are in need of a ship. And we have one. What we need is a new identity, correct?"

Fate steps in. "Correct. We have disabled the beacon-transponder, effectively erasing the identity of the ship. However, the lack of a beacon-transponder will draw unwanted attention. Replacing it would be prudent."

Tyl eyes the stack of credit-strips in his hand that he got for the manure. "We wont have much left from the manure money. But you're right. We need a transponder. And Tatooine is a good enough place to get one."

Bayl nods. "Good. Then that is settled. How then to find this wookie of yours?"

"Chewbacca's last known location was Permyrra" Fate explains. "Reason dictates it should be our next destination."

Amee is not happy. "Reason doesnt dictate any of this."

Tyl smiles. "Couldnt agree with you more, kiddo."

Permyrra:

The manure-hauler approaches Permyrra, a gasgiant with rings. They fly in towards the rings and a moon in orbit, a moon with a huge manmade spacestation built like a ring around it. They dock with the ring-station. They all exit the ship as local security walk up to them.

"Is there a problem?" Tyl wonders.

The lieutenant in charge of the Republic patrol shakes his head. "Just paying a visit. You were cleared to dock after all. As long as you dont cause any trouble, you're free to stay as long as you like. Just wanted to get a look at you, captain, and your crew." The lieutenant eyes them all. "Not your usual outfit this part of the Republic. Family-crew?"

Tyl looks over his shoulder. "Yeah. Gramps and my cousins. Took them on a while back. What can you do. Family, right."

The lieutenant nods. "Yeah, you gotta look after family first. Welcome to the Ring, keep the kids away from the taverns, keep the old man away from the hustlers, and you... keep away from trouble."

"You got it, boss" Tyl says and smiles.

They all later find themselves by a large viewport, looking down on the small moon.

"Spice-mines" Tyl says. "Droids mine the spice on the surface, it gets brought up here to the station where refineries turn it into the final product. Run by the Trade Federation during the Old Republic, by the Hutts during the Empire and First Order. Now its owned and run by the New Republic. All spice-production is owned by the government."

"No wonder" Bayl says. "The revinue alone must pay for half the Republic fleet."

Tyl nods and chuckles. "Close to it, at least." Tyl looks around, then walks over to some workers. "Excuse me" he says. "Im looking for a freighter-captain. A wookie. Ran freight through here a couple of years ago. Know who Im talking about?"

The oldest of the workers nods and wipes his hands on an oily rag. "Sure do. Ol' Grumpy, you mean."

"Probably" Tyl says.

"Yeah, I know of him. He still comes through here every now and then. His rig is called Mallatobuck. Its an old Moncala rig from before the Clone Wars."

They all look at each other with renewed hope.

The Ring Cargo-Docks:

They group step out onto a large maze of catwalks, surrounding several cargoships. From the catwalks you can see large crates being loaded and unloaded from various ships. Crew run around everywhere, shouting. Droids help out with the work. It is a noisy operation. They walk over to a specific ship and Tyl approaches a big wookie overlooking the unloading of his ship, the beast growling commands in his own language.

"General!" Tyl calls out.

The wookie stops and then slowly turns to face Tyl, it is an older and slightly gray Chewbacca.

Tyl continues. "Rose Tico sent me."

We slowly zoom in on Chewies old ship and then we end up inside, in the lounge, where a droid places drinks infront of everyone ( except Fate and the Medic obviously ). Chewie sits down with his own drink and speaks with Tyl.

"Poe told us we could find you here" Tyl explains. "Or at least, he knew you used to work around these parts."

Chewie nods and speaks.

Tyl shakes his head. "I'm sorry. We left before the Inquisition could catch us. I hope he's still serving warm beer at that puke-stinking tavern of his." Chewie speaks. Tyl sighs. "Senator Tico is trying to reveal the truth about the Inquisition. To stop them. And she thinks that if the Republic learns the truth about what happened at Griefalnak, it would help stop need your help, general."

Chewie sighs heavily and speaks, his words are sombre, heavy with thought.

"I know" Tyl nods. "Poe said the same thing. But if we do nothing, then nothing will change."

Amee puts her drink to the side. "Can you or can you not help us put an end to the Inquisition?" They all turn to look at Amee, Chewie included. "Well?"

Chewie replies and Tyl translates. "He says that you dont realize what you're going up against."

Amee gets on her feet and lifts the shirt, revealing the blasterwound. "I understand this!" she growls and pulls the shirt down. "They killed our mom and dad. Shot them dead because my brother helped Tyl and his droid. They shot them for no reason!"

"Please" Kyle says. "Help us."

"General" Bayl says. "I was a doctor in the army, when we fought the First Order. I remember the days before the Inquisition. You and I both know that they need to be stopped. People today, they fear the Inquisition just like they feared the First Order. Just like they feared the Empire."

Chewie nods and speaks. "Thank you" Tyl says with a sigh.

Chewie goes on to explain matters.

"He says he'll help us" Tyl translates for the others. "He knows how we can get proof what Skywalker did."

Bayl gets hopeful. "How, exactly."

Chewie explains and Tyl translates. "He'll take us to the junkyards on Bracca. Two droids are hiding there that we need. They have all we need to bring the Inquisition down."

"Like what?" Kyle wonders. "What do they know?"

Once more, Chewie explains and Tyl translates. "During the war with the Core Alliance, the final battle took place at Griefalnak. The victory at Griefalnak allowed the Republic to secure a footfold deep in Alliance held territory and was able to cut the supply lines that the Alliance needed to keep up the wareffort. It was the last decisive engagement of the conflict. Shortly afterwards, there was peace. During the battle, an Alliance space-station was completely destroyed as the main powergenerator detonated. Five million civilians on the station died. The Republic had to gain control of the station to control the system. Rey, Poe, Jannah and Chewie were sent in to disable the stations defenses, so its turbo-lasers could not support the Alliance fleet and so Republic troops could assault the station itself. But Rey ignored orders and instead took the easy way out and blew up the entire station, along with all civilians, all refugees, everyone onboard. Chewie and the others barely made it out of there alive." The story horryfies them all. It is a terrible memory for Chewie. Tyl shakes his head. "Griefalnak was taken in a couple of days instead of a few months. A great strategic victory that forced the Alliance to negotiate for peace on the Republics terms. Officially, no one knew why the station exploded. The Republic burried the truth. Rey Skywalker burried the truth."

Amee looks at Chewie. "But you were there. You can tell everyone what really happened."

Chewie is not so sure he can help, but he knows what they need.

Tyls spirits raises a bit. "The droids?" he asks. "They're with Jannah?"

"What droids?" Kyle wonders.

Tyl looks at Kyle. "The two droids they used to slice the Alliance network on the station. The droids that supervised everything Rey and the others did on that station." Tyl turns to Chewie. "Including how she tampered with the main power-generator." Chewie nods. Tyl smiles. "He'll take us to Jannah right away. She is hiding on Bracca."

Republic Warship:

Jaina Skywalker, followed by her Inquisitorial officers and troopers, walk with determined strides through a Republic battleship.

"What news, my lady?" the lieutenant asks.

"I know where the senators spy is located" Jaina says. "He is with General Chewbacca."

"The informant?" the lieutenant says.

"We have no time to waste" Jaina says.

They enter a hangarbay, enter their Inquisitorial shuttle, the shuttle leaves the massive ship and flies off and soon enough makes the jump to lightspeed.

Chewies Transport, the Mallatobuck:

Tyl and the others enter the bridge in a hurry. Chewie and his crew are not pleased. Chewie growls angrily.

"Why arent they letting you leave?" Tyl wonders. Chewie replies and Tyl translates. "Local law refuses to let the general leave without an inspection. The enforcer gave Chewbacca the codeword that means the Republic is coming."

Bayl turns grim. "They know were onboard."

A member of Chewies, Acklin, crew snarls ."And they got us locked with docking clamps. We aint going nowhere. And we aint got no place to hide your stowaways. Sorry to say, Grumpy."

"We got a ship" Kyle says. "Just let us off and we'll get out of here on our own."

Amee nods. "Yeah. We can get to Bracca on our own. Jannah, right? We'll find her and the droids."

Acklin grins. "That's swell. But what about us? We're still gonna be in trouble. What's the plan, Grumpy?"

"Come with us" Bayl suggests. "Our ship is big enough, and you are in trouble for trying to help us. The least we can do is return the favor."

Acklin sighs. "I havent been chased by the law for two years."

Chewie growls and snarls. The crew look at each other and then they all nod.

Acklin nods as well. "Hell, alright. I'm in. We're all in."

Tyl slaps Chewie over the shoulder. "Good man. Let's get going."

The Ring:

A hatch on the bottom of the ship opens and a rope gets thrown down. One by one, they all begin to climb down, Fate carrying the medical droid tied to his back. While they climb down, local security forces storm the ship. The heroes reach a catwalk and hurry to climb aboard a freight-train that is onloading cargo. They hide and then the train moves along the ring of the station, leaving Chewies ship far behind. The train slows down and they all hurry to get off, but they are spotted by workers. As they make their escape, they are spotted by other officials. It doesnt take long until they run into a pair of security officers. The real chase is on!

Soon enough, blasterbolts are exchanged between the heroes and the security officers. More and more join in on the chase, trying to stop the heroes. Three of Chewies crew get killed. Tyl and Fate are wounded/damaged during the chase. Kyle proves he is a good shot with a blaster, even if he isnt used to being in a gunfight. Chewie has large one-handed blaster that is more powerful than you expect ( blaster version of a handcannon ). The chase continues into the airducts and it is a horrible location for a firefight, climbing through narrow passages, crawling over pipes and wiring. They get out of the airducts and continue fleeing through the maintenaince part of the station. Amee grabs an item out of Chewies bag and tells them to hurry through a doorway; she places an explosive device against a huge pipeline and then hurries after and closes the blastdoors. Shortly afterwards, the explosive detonates and millions of gallons of water flush from the broken pipeline, drowning all pursuers ( and probably hundreds of others ).

"Nice" Tyl says.

They dont get far though before they hear strange noises from the station around them. Water runs along the floor and drips from the ceiling.

Kyle, along with the others, listens and looks. "I have a bad feeling about this."

Water crashes violently in from the ceiling and they have to try and escape the flooding compartments. Bayl opens a panel in the wall and hands over breathing apparatus to everyone.

"Take these!" he tells them. "Its air incase life-support fails!"

With the masks and tubes, fitted on belts around the waist, they can breathe as water eventually fills the compartments fully. The two droids drag everyone along and open doors and remove obstacles. They eventually manage to crawl through a hatch in the ceiling and reach a dry compartment on the level above. Kyle crawls up last and catches his breath, when he suddenly gets dragged violently back down into the water.

"Kyle!" Amee calls out and dives in after him without thinking.

"Son of a...!" Tyl growls and jumps after them.

In the water, Kyle and Amee are wrestling a couple of quarren and moncalans. Chewie and the others soon join in on the fight, as does Fate. Blasters are fired in the water, causing bursts of bubbles as the bolts travel. Quarren mask themselves by releasing ink in great clouds.

Elsewhere, in the stations main control room, an officer approaches the commander of the security-forces.

"Sir, the moncalan captain reports his men has found the fugitives."

"Excellent" the commander says, quite pleased. "I knew they were the right people for the job."

Back in the water, the fight goes on with blasters and knives. The heroes are slowly, one by one getting out of the water and away from the fight as Fate helps them. With the last one out, he closes the hatch in the ceiling while he is still in the water.

"Fate?!" Tyl calls out as he rips the breathing-apparatus from his head. "Whatta hell are you doing?!"

Tyl fights his way through the moncalans and quarren until he reaches a large door. Grabbing it with both arms, he manages to force it open. As he does, the room suffers decompression and the water rushes out together with everything else. The heroes watch through a viewport the huge burst of ice that expands into space. Behind them, the hatch in the floor opens and they all turn their blasters on it. Fate crawls back up and looks at them.

"Not to worry, master" Fate says. "I only opened the emergency-exit momentarily to ease our escape. It is now closed. We may move on."

A soaking wet Chewie tells them all to follow him and they all hurry along.

The manure-hauler is still in dock. Fate and the Medic Droid push a large crate along, all around other crew hurry in a panic to their own ships, and load it onto the manure-hauler. Once inside, everyone crawls out of the crate.

Acklin shakes his head. "I cant believe that actually worked."

Bayl shrugs his shoulders. "Worked well enough back in Port Hattaru."

"Well, we're not out of this yet" Tyl says as he hurries to the bridge.

The hauler takes off and leaves the dockingbay, as many other ships do, increasing speed as it distances itself from the giant space-installation.

To be continued...
