"Hey, is everything okay?" Leo asked as he walked into the baby's hospital room, putting his hand on Harry's arm and leaning down to kiss Nikki's head where she was sitting in the wheelchair next to the incubator. He had a message from Harry asking him to meet them at the hospital as soon as he had finished work, but not to worry, everything was okay. That didn't stop him worrying though but he knew if there was anything seriously wrong they would have called him rather than messaging.

"Everything is fine" Nikki assured him from the wheelchair, pushing herself to her feet slowly and waving the men off when they both tried to help her "I'm fine"

She was still achy and sore, but she wasn't going to let them know that too much, they would just worry about her more than she wanted them too. She hugged Leo, kissing his cheek when he hugged her back and chuckled.

"How is he?"

"As well as he can be" Harry responded, walking over to the incubator to look down at his son, unable to stop himself from smiling as he looked at him. There was something about looking at a child that you had made with the person you loved more than anything, it was something that he couldn't describe. It had been four days since the boy had come into the world, and he was thankful for every one of those days.

Nikki nodded, holding Leo's hand as they both stayed in the hug, so glad that she had him in her life. He was like a father to them both, a far better dad to them that theirs had been and she was thankful every single day that Leo was in their life, and would be in the life of their baby.

"We have a name for him"

"You do?" Leo asked, looking down at Nikki when she spoke and smiling at her "When did you name him?"

"The day he was born, when I came in to see him the first time" Nikki responded, walking slowly over to the incubator and pulling Leo over with her by his hand "I didn't want him..." she swallowed the lump in her throat, it hurt to think about and talk about but she was a logical woman "I didn't want him leaving us without a name"

"Nikki..."

"I'll tell you the same thing I told Harry, Leo" Nikki interrupted quickly, letting go of Leo's hand to put it on the incubator side "Don't insult me by telling me that everything will be okay with him, we all know the risks and how long this will be, and I know you don't forget that I am a doctor too"

Harry watched as Leo sighed and rubbed his chin, nodding at Nikki's words. Their Nikki was stubborn, and she knew what she wanted and neither of them would treat her like she was stupid. "We did want him leaving us without a name so we named him, and spent the last few days testing it out to see if it suited him or not, and it does" she told Leo proudly, looking over the incubator at Harry and smiling when he took her hand and squeezed it.

"What's this little one's name then"

"This is Albert Leo Alexander-Cunningham" Nikki told Leo, biting her lip as she said her son's name to the first person that wasn't Harry "Or Bertie as Harry has been calling him"

Leo looked at them quickly, putting his hand to his mouth as he took a breath and felt his eyes smart with tears. They'd named their precious baby boy after him.

"You okay Leo?"

"I'm...I'm fine" Leo whispered, the words coming out muffled behind his hand before he carefully embraced Nikki, the young woman wrapping her arms around his back and clinging to his shirt. He could feel the tears that she was quietly shedding into the material of the front of his shirt as he held her close and he buried his face in her hair, rubbing her back as he sniffed. "God I've not cried this much in so long" he laughed tearfully, kissing Nikki's head as she moved away and laughed, wiping her eyes with the sleeve of the dressing gown she had on.

"You like his name then?" Harry smiled, walking around to hug Leo too, patting him on the back as the older man hugged him tightly and laughed "Nikki told me off for shortening his name"

"I did not" Nikki rolled her eyes, wiping them with her sleeves again and looking into the incubator "If I wanted you to be called Bertie then I would have named you that, isn't that right sweetpea?" she told him, aching to touch him to let him know that she was there, but the doctors were still making sure that he would be okay with it even four days after he was born. As much as she wanted to touch him, her boy's safety was more important and she knew she would wait week for a touch if that was what it took. She looked over to Harry and Leo, giving them a smile when they weren't looking, before returning her attention to Albert, watching as his tiny fragile little chest rose and fell with each breath.

"We're going to be okay" she whispered to him, biting her lip before she continued to speak, Harry and Leo too busy talking to listen to her quiet words to the baby "All of us, little one. You'll be home one day with me and daddy and your big brother, and we'll have all sorts of parties with your granddad and grandma. We'll be okay"
