(1st POV)

I had scoped out the pier and found the warehouse that had footbots in it. I was currently sneaking through said warehouse looking for where they put Donnie. He was alive according to the note, but I didn't know how long that would be. I suppressed a sigh when I found the door he had to be behind. I mean, it is a windowless room with four footbots standing guard. Where else would you keep a ninja turtle? Now how to get past the bots with the least amount of noise...

I grinned when I remember an old prank I had been planning to reenact on my bros. I quickly pulled out my water balloons, four, one for each of my brothers. The fourth was an extra because it usually took me a couple of attempts to hit Leo. Thankfully, the bots did not have Leo's water balloon sense and each short circuited. I flinched at the sound they made as they hit the ground. Knowing I would not have much time before people came to investigate the sound I opened the door. The room was dark and bare, except for the desk with a lamp that provided enough light for me to see Donnie tied up on the floor, and Tigerclaw holding a gun to his head.

"Welcome, Michelangelo. I was wondering how long it would take you to show up" Tigerclaw greeted me. Donnie apparently couldn't see who had come in and his eyes got wide when he saw me step into the light.

"Well, after you shot me in the back, it took me longer. What do you want?" I asked, swinging my nunchuck.

"Tsk, tsk. I would put the weapons down, Michelangelo. I would so hate to have to shoot your genius brother's brains out, seems such a waste" He said nonchalantly. I quickly looked between him, his gun, and Donnie desperately shaking his head. I dropped my nunchucks. "Good choice, now we can talk."

"Yo dude, if all you wanted was a chat, you could have just called, or write an email" I joked, if only to keep my nerves down.

"Once more with the jokes huh? To be fair, I guess they do serve a purpose. After all, no one even thought that the most useless turtle is the reason we haven't found your lair yet, or the fact that you also keep your brothers out of the multiple traps we have set. So much talent, wasted, unappreciated. I bet if you really wanted, you could have beat your dearly departed Sensei" Tigerclaw listed off. I tried to keep the shock off of my face.

"Little ol' me do all of that? Man, are you sure you aren't colorblind? I am wearing orange, not blue silly" I joked again. I trained my eyes on Tigerclaw, knowing that it would give him an edge if I looked anywhere else.

"I called you here to make a deal. I could have kidnapped you instead of this one, but that would have ruined anything I wanted you to do for me. Now, I could shoot your brother now, or..." He trailed off.

"Or what?" I asked harshly. No more jokes.

"You could be my apprentice."

"Your apprentice? You think I would betray my brothers? If I join you, you will still harm them. No, no way" I shot down his offer.

"Even with your brother's life on the line? When you join me, I will even leave your brother's alone. No foot will ever harm your brothers. For your brothers, it will be like we no longer exist. Once we get some paper work done, we will even leave the country. Now isn't that a good deal?" He asked. I looked at Donnie, who was staring at me, like he was begging me to say no. I took a deep breath and released it.

"You promise to make sure no foot ever try to harm my brothers, or my friends. You will not ask me to give you any information that will compromise them. The foot no longer hunts for our home. To the foot, the Turtles and Co never even existed." I stated, but I could feel the anger in my eyes, as Tigerclaw pulled back the hammer of the gun. Seriously, of all his gadgets, he was stooping to using a revolver. "Then I will join you."

"How do I know you will not break your side of the bargain and betray me?" Tigerclaw asked, pushing the gun harder against Donnie's head, pushing his face into the floor. I grinded my teeth together to keep myself form running to punch him.

"Then how about this, if you do any of the previously mentioned items, I will immediately consider you an enemy. If you agree to these terms, then I swear on my family that I will not betray you" I hissed out. I knew an assassin like him wouldn't care about honor, or trust it, but he knew how much my family meant to me, evidently. Tigerclaw stared at me for a moment before giving a sadistic smile.

"On your family" he mused. If I had hair, I am positive it would be standing up on the back of my neck. "Then if you betray me, I will make your watch me slowly kill each on of your brothers and friends one by one."

"Fine" I hissed. I felt sick, knowing the deal with the devil I had just agreed too.

"That works for me. I will allow you to return your brother home. You will have two hours to settle what you need at home. Then you will meet me here" He threw a kunai at my feet with an address. "You have a few moments to say goodbye to this one here, before we tranq him. Have to make sure he doesn't say anything to the other two about this. Wouldn't want you to have to fight your way out of your own home, now would we?" Tigerclaw asked. He walked to the still open door. "You have ten minutes." Then he closed the door. I rushed quickly to Donnie and ripped off the duct tape.

"Donnie?! Are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere?" I asked rushedly.

"Mikey, how could you?" Donnie asked me quietly, but it felt like a nail in my heart.

"Donnie, I had to, I couldn't lose you. Nor could Leo or Raph. Man they are gonna be so mad when we come home. I kinda left without telling them" I said like a kid worried about their dad catching them in the cookie jar.

"Mikey, please, untie me, and we can run away together. We will leave New York, hell, we can leave America. Learning a new language might be a little difficult, but we can do it" Donnie pleaded with me.

"Don, I swore on you guys, I can't. You know that. Now when the bros figure out I am gone, you are gonna have to help them. You will be the baby bro then. You can't come after me, you just can't. I know Tigerclaw promised that the foot won't hurt you, but I am not the foot. He will probably make me fight you guys. I don't want to do that. Please don't make me fight you guys. Look, now you can work on your projects in peace. Maybe Raph will stop getting mad so often, and he a Leo will get along better. I know it will be hard for you guys, but I will write..." I rambled.

"Mikey..."

"Donnie I love you. You are my best friend, my big bro. The one who could fix anything that broke." I hugged my big bro.

"Mikey, I love you too" Donnie started crying. "Wait, what did you do?"

"I am sorry, but it is better I do it than anyone else" I answered softly as Donnie went limp in my arms. I dropped the needle that Tigerclaw had handed me as he passed. I carefully picked up my brother bridal style. I walked out the empty warehouse and began the long trek home.
