Frisk sat up as her eyes met this monster's. Quietly kneeling down the white monster held out a hand to Frisk in a kind gesture. "I promise my child. I Toriel will not harm you, just as you have chosen to not harm my son." A swell of relief and lightheadedness fell up on Frisk's shoulders as she gave a weak smile, causing her to collapse onto the monster's lap. "Mother!? Are they-" Rose stammered in a panic as he grew his stem to look over his mother's shoulder. Thankfully Toriel stopped him and answered his question.

"No Rose they are extremely beat up after the fall, but they are alive for the time being." Toriel was saddened that this poor child had been thrown down here like trash. How cruel Humans could be to one another sometimes. "And it looks like they were beaten even before the fall." She added noticing other scars like whips lashed on her back and forearms.

The two looked at each other for a moment before giving a nod. Rose plucked a peddle from his head and gave it to his mother. "Please heal her mother with this. I was scared at first but, she is the first human that showed me what kindness can be in a long time." Toriel smiled and placed the peddle on Frisk's forehead.

"Sleep well my child..."

Frisk awoke in a soft warm bed in a small bedroom that looked to be made for children. Or more precisely a baby, for there was a crib in the corner of the room. Taking a moment Frisk noticed that her injuries were gone but there were still scars visible on her skin. A sigh escaped her lips as Frisk reached her leg out of the covers. Before even touching the floor a tear ran down her cheek. Her former life with the humans was over. Now branded an outcast Frisk felt completely lost to her fate here in the underground. She remembered her foster mothers voice and how sad and scared she sounded. Cupping her ears Frisk began to weep quietly to herself as she pulled back her leg and retreated to the corner of the bed frame. Tucking everything in her white gown she wore before falling down the hole.

The sound of the door leading to the outside was heard clicking open, causing Frisk to jump at the noise. Quickly she whipped the tears away not wanting to show her emotions to complete strangers. Giving them an edge over on her mentally weakened state.

"My child? I heard a noise are you-" Toriel spoke as she poked her head in, only to find a shaken Frisk.

"W-Why did you bring me here?" Frisk spoke nervous having not yet trusted their current position yet. She was knocked out for who knows how long and found herself in a unknown bed, with no knife, and monsters just outside the door.

Her trust in people had hurt her one time too many. It led her to where she is now. Toriel gave a small frown as she knelt down to the floor. "I am so sorry my child." Toriel spoke as they held their head low to Frisk. "You shouldn't be here. Locked in this place when you clearly have done no wrong."

Frisk was stunned still by those words as her eyes were now glued to this monster. She believed that she was guilty. It was traditional that even just talking to a man was considered a grave sin in her village. How could this monster say such things to her, and cried for her? Like a mother would.

"How can you say such things to me. I am guilty. Please don't cry for this sinner." Frisk spoke as she got out of bed to kneel before Toriel. Her eyes began to weep when Toriel quickly and without warning wrapped Frisk into a warm embrace.

"Your acts of kindness speaks for itself, my child. You showed no ill will towards me or my son. You truly are a nice person and have the smell of purity all around you, my child." Toriel went on saying as she lightly patted Frisk's braided long hair and upper back.

"You may stay safe here knowing that here in the ruins no one will harm you, my child."
