This story is about Diep. io/Arras. io, I have decided to be 9 again. Maybe that will fix my uncontrollable habit of making stories that all take a dark/mature turn at some point and become cringy, depressing, and not fun to read.

You people in the Misc. Games community seem cooler since you don't write repetitive stories like warrior cats people.

Anyways onto the story. I'm just gonna use some cringy lore I came up with when I was like 8. Actually theres a book I made back then that I've basically memorized, let's use that. Or some variation of it. Or something completely different. Idk.

Chapter 1

This story is weird.

One day a tank called Redstripe was exploring the gray area on the outer edge of the arena. It was his first time playing, and he quickly found that he could not go more than a few units into it. Redstripe became frustrated and tried shooting at the invisible barrier. His bullets went right through, but when be rammed the barrier again he was still stopped. Redstripe did not give up here. He was determined to find out what was beyond this point, and after trying to ram the barrier with every tank in the game, getting the same result every time, he thought back to his first time discovering the barrier. When he had shot at it, the bullets went through. Was it possible that he could somehow... Become a bullet? Well, after a while he discovered the Console button, accessed by pressing the "home" button on your keyboard. Redstripe was good at coding and soon found ways he could modify his tank to look differently. He tried removing his shooter and making his body a little smaller, looked about like a Destroyer bullet. But he still could not get past the invisible barrier. So he tried for many hours, every possible way to modify his tank and make himself a bullet, but he had forgotten one key thing about bullets - they must come from a shooter. But how in the world would he shoot himself out of a shooter? He soon discovered he could change his entity type with a few complicated lines of code. Now he was truly a bullet, but how would he shoot himself? Well actually that doesn't really matter. As long as your entity type is a bullet, you're a bullet. Finally Redstripe got past the invisible barrier, and traveled for thousands upon thousands of units through a seemingly endless gray field of nothing but the grid pattern of the arena. Eventually it had been so long that Redstripe had to put something heavy on his arrow key so he could get some sleep. He woke up just in time to see his tank reach a yellow area. The coordinates were showing random numbers. Excited to have found something at last, Redstripe took the weight off his up arrow key and explored the strange yellow area. He kept going straight for a while but did not see anything. But eventually he reached a dark yellow line that he could not cross, even as a bullet. Upon ramming into it, all of his modifications were removed and he was once again a level 45 Overlord. He could just barely make out the tips of a few gray rectangles - were those shooters? Turns out he was right. A message window popped up on his screen. It read: RUN. Several huge, yellow tanks with short, stubby shooters charged toward him, shooting bullets that went three times as fast as he could move. As quickly as he could Redstripe moved away from the yellow zone, trying to escape the huge, insanely overpowered tanks. He sent his drones after one of them, and panicked as he realized these tanks were also immune to attacks. He knew it - he was going to die. Thank goodness for respawning.

Eventually one of the yellow tanks caught up to Redstripe, and a large yellow bullet smashed through him.

Hope you enjoyed this weird random thing lmao
