Sands of Change
Lady Countryrose
Ch. 8
At eight o'clock the next morning. Hermione and Lucy were at Hargeon Town docks. After showing up the night before. They enjoyed the sights of the town. Before finding a motel near the docks.
"Lucy Heartfilia," a happy voice called out to them. Seeing a large ship had just docked.
The two walked up to the ship and boarded. Only to see one man that Lucy remembered. "Jean-Luc Neville," smiled Lucy. "Nice to see you again."
"Ms. Heartfilia, hopefully this is not another end of the world thing again."
Lucy smiled, "Hopefully not. Jean-Luc Neville, meet Hermione Granger. She is new to Fairy Tail."
"Please call me Neville," the man shook Hermione's hand. Making Hermione think about another Neville. Who could be a younger version of the guy before her.
'Stop, Hermione, not everyone from your past could survive an 800-year gap.'
"We're heading out to an island, with a long-lost temple on it. It depicted the Celestial Dragon on it."
"Draco," asked Lucy in wonder. "He has a temple?"
Neville nodded his head. "Most Dragons had temples, where their followers came and worshiped. Hoping to be the next gifted warrior. That is where the origins of Dragon Slayers come from."
While they had talked, other archeologists had loaded more supplies onto the ship, before the ship was set to sail. They noticed people untied the ship from the dock. Sails were hosted. Carrying them out to sea.
"We'll make landfall at sunset. Might as well enjoy the journey," before Neville walked off.
Lucy and Hermione found a seat on deck and sat back. Reading a couple of books. But Hermione couldn't concentrate on the words. Only to think back on a dream.
In her dream, she was sitting on someone's lap. Feeling something poking her lower back. All she could see was someone's forearms. As he fisted and rubbed his knuckles, over her jeans covered, core. Only to cause her nerves to run wild.
Barely hearing his voice. 'I can't wait until I can get inside you. Once I do, you're mine.'
The dream was so vivid, she had thought it was real. She had woken up very hot and bothered. Hermione had to take a cold shower. Almost wishing she knew who it was.
'He had strong hips, strong enough to move me, while laying on him. Knuckle me like a strung up guitar.' Hermione shook her head. 'It's only a dream and I can't get whoever that was, out of my head. I blame Cana for this. I was never like this back home.'
After struggling with a leisure book. She had gotten up to find Neville. Asking to start on the research. He gave her a book, about the forgotten legend of the Celestial Dragon.
The Celestial Dragon was the one Dragon that reset the world that we know, today. 800 years ago, the Celestial Dragon was not a Dragon. But something that was known as a wizard, named Draco. The only part of his name survived.
Hermione jumped away from the book. Managing to place it on her chair. Before pacing the deck. "No, no, no, no."
Lucy hopped up from her seat. "Hermione, what's wrong?"
"I know Draco," whispered Hermione in fear.
Lucy didn't look fearful but excited. "Well, I sure hope so, you got his abilities!"
That statement had hauled Hermione in her tracks. 'If he was the Celestial Dragon, why did he give me his magic? And how, in all that is magical, did he give them to me?'
"Hermione!" She felt Lucy shaking her. "You lost for a moment," she hissed.
"Sorry, I am lost. Draco was never a nice person. If he did something for you, he would want something in return."
The rest of the trip, Hermione managed to read more about Draco. Only to find out about the time he was to become a father. A new wizard disease ripped through the Wizarding World. Changing magic.
Causing Draco to become a Dragon. Then shortly, his newborn son, into a baby human scorpion. Naming him Scorpio. Lucy wanted to call her spirit out. But Hermione wasn't ready. She wanted to see the temple first.
