Sands of Change

Lady Countryrose

Ch. 26

As the days had gone by. The new house was finished. Along with the new furniture. Gajeel had shown a room that Hermione could use as her own, but once they did marry, he had voiced.

"It better only be used as a study," his voice was deep and demanding. "I can not have you away from me." That statement only held a hint of his insecurities. He didn't like to be alone.

At the guild, that day, was when the girls had found that the wedding was a secret. That was planned behind their backs, by the three men. Mira had finally spilled the beans after hearing that all three of them were engaged.

"You planned this?" The girls had faced the three men. Only for Bickslow to break out of the three. "What, we can't be secret romantics? Baby, you know nothing."

Mira had told them that the wedding would happen the next day. After everything had been set up. Then, many members were ordered from entering the guild. Until the weddings had occurred. Only for them to demand that the wedding happen the day after.

With that, Hermione requested that the girls could use the new house. While the guys partied at Laxus's. So as agreed, the two houses were filled with the brides in one, while the grooms in the other.

The girls had a spa night with movies. The guys had a drinking and game night.

Lucy had Cancer out to help with the spa treatments. While Levy had magazines out to show the crab what they wanted to have done. Hermione had found that it was a girly night. She had a feeling that she needed to go outside and called Draco out to talk.

"Granger," he sighed. "What, in the living Hell, is going on?"

Hermione sighed, "I miss my parents…" A tear ran down her cheek. "What am I to expect?"

Draco huffed, "Great, now I do feel like your father. Wedding, exchange of heartfelt vows and rings. Dance, eat and enjoy the moment with friends. Come home, take each other's clothes off and have sex."

Hermione gaped, "What," she asked. "Just like that?"

Draco just looked at her. "You mean, Weasley and Potter haven't done it with you? Not even Krum?"

"No," Hermione growled at him. "I had other important things to worry about!" Cross her arms and glared at him.

"I apologize, Hermione. I didn't mean to hurt you. I was simply surprised." Draco shook his head and let out a sigh.

"I won't lie, it will hurt you, but only for a moment. As long as you remember to breathe. You will be fine." He was vague, Hermione knew he was. But she was only glad he told her that much.

Hermione gave a kind smile. "Thank you for doing this, Draco."

"Don't mention it." Then he was gone.

Hermione had taken a deep breath and walked into the house. Where they saw Lucy and Levy waiting for her. Giving her a group hug.

"We heard," Lucy told her, as a tear ran down her cheek. "We were worried about the wedding night too."

"Yeah," piped up Levy. "Draco sure has a way with words." The three giggled. "Was he always like that?"

Hermione smiled, "I… never really noticed. He was a bully, back when I knew him. I never really saw the real him. Not until he became a Dragon."

The rest of the night, Hermione told them everything about her years at Hogwarts. The mysteries, the adventures and the pain. Then the struggles that she faced, even while on the run. Only to keep her symbolic brother alive.

'He was my family to me. I would have even died for him.'

With a few hours left before sunrise. The girls had fallen asleep around the living room. Each with a smile and a dream of their man.
