here's my second one-shot fanfic, LMAO. Anyways, This will focus on Peter Parker and Gwen

Stacy because I fucking love them.

Also, Peter has a different personality because I like a more rebellious version of Spidey.

POV: Peter Parker.

It was lunchtime at the canteen, and I had been eating the salad and chicken that my aunt had prepared for me; it was nothing remarkable, just an ordinary meal to enjoy. Still, I could be leaping into action, but crime rates in New York have been declining since a new mayor took office. 'Good riddance,' I muttered to myself. It had been exhausting doing all the police work while Jonah, yours truly, continued to insult me. The new mayor has done everyone in this state a huge favor.

I then heard a feminine voice crying out to me, "Peter!" I turned around to see a blonde female around my age approaching me.

It was Gwen Stacy. She and I met in the beginning of our middle school years and have remained friends ever since. "What brings you here, Gwen?" I inquired, taking a sip of my orange juice while she twirled her hair. "I was wondering if we could hang out tomorrow; I mean, are you free by then?" she asked. "Well, sure!" I said, "I don't have anything scheduled as of late, so I'm quite sure we can hang out." "Great! I'll pick you up at 8:15, I have something for you~" she cooed. It wasn't the first time Gwen flirted with me of course, it is as I suspected. "By the way, Gwen, is there something with picking me up early? The last time you tried to surprise me, it didn't go well..."
I teased, to which she blushed in embarrassment. "W-well... Yeah, I've got a surprise for you, but I promise it'll be wonderful!" she said, her cheeks still heating.
"Okay, whatever you say," I teased, "but it better be because I'm going to give you a teddy bear in exchange!" She was literally pleading me like a puppy, "Really!? You mean it?! Will you give me a teddy bear?!" I replied, "L.O.L no," and she pouted and slapped my head. "You're no good," she whined sadly. "All right, I'll do it," I say, reaching out to shake her hand, "but just make sure this surprise can... well... surprise me! Do we have a deal?"
She then took my extended hand and shook it. "Alright, deal for the teddy bear." she said. "Just be ready tomorrow, I really am looking forward to this okay?" she pleaded, and I scratched my head. "It depends.. but why can't Wade or Yasmine come too?" I questioned, and she smiled. "Because I just want this to be the two of us alone, Peter... We haven't hang out in a long time you know?"

Well... She was right; we hadn't seen each other for a while, not even this summer, and now, due to certain personal issues in our life, a brief vacation was exactly what she needed. to go for a brief period of time and then return better? Who knows, maybe we'll figure it out tomorrow. "All right," I said, "I'll make sure to get ready." "Just don't wake up late like last time," I added.
She suddenly had a small tear in her eye as her smile widened. "Thank you so much Peter! I promise I won't let you down!" she exclaimed as she hopped up and down, drawing unwanted attention from our fellow students. "Hey, keep it quiet," I said as I motioned her to take a seat. "We can't have some stupid rumors about our school's most popular cheerleader hanging out with the outcast, okay?"
"Ooh... I don't think I mind... maybe it might help increase your self-esteem because I heard one of my cheerleader club friends say you're cute," she remarked. I murmured, "Welp, there goes my precious dream of spending a school year of isolation..." "Why are you so anti-social, Peter? Flash and the others saw potential in you, but you insisted on staying in class?" she wondered, her brows furrowed in concern. "I... I just don't want to, Gwen, I just wanted a tranquil time in my remaining school years since that's what I wanted to... continue my studies till I finally graduated college.." "And yet you're squandering your opportunities to enjoy your youth.. remember Peter, nothing lasts forever." "I understand," I countered, "but you know my Aunt, she works as a waitress in a nearby diner and has been accumulating money to pay our obligations; I just don't want to be like those homeless people who have had their life and freedom taken away. I wanted to repay her for all that she had done for me..."
I said, my gaze fixed on my meal. "Oh... sorry... but I may ask my father for 322 dollars? He stated he wants to thank your late uncle Ben for his compassion a long time ago..." she explained. "Besides, everyone else in New York respects your family; I heard your Aunt May used to be the most popular girl here in Midtown High back in the 1970s."
"Of course, Aunt May boasted about being the best girl there is," I said, recalling how Aunt May talked of being the best girl there can be. "Of course, Uncle Ben is the quiet guy but a total nerd, kinda reminds me of..."
"Us now!" she exclaimed, to my displeasure. "Alright, Gwen, I don't expect the Nephew to be in the same condition as his late uncle, but the problem is that the nephew isn't as smart as he was, and is feared by the others."
"I don't think they fear you, Peter; they just respect your privacy, and they're afraid of getting on your bad side."

When the bell rang, we were all required to go to our different courses. Gwen yelled out again, "Hey Peter." "Thank you very much; it was nice talking to you again," she says, her cheeks flushing and mine burning.

"U-uh... yeah... it was nice chatting with you again...," I answered with a smile, and we quickly parted ways. But not before she yelled, "Please be ready tomorrow, okay?" I gave her a thumbs up, and we walked to our respective classrooms.

So there you have it folks! This is a one-shot fanfic sadly, but I just can't turn it into a full

blown story, I'm not exactly ready yet.
