A/N: Before we go to the one-shot, there is a major announcement. For one or two months, I'm not going to be writing stories on wattpad or fanfiction. The reason is because I have my first semester(sophomore year) exams around the corner and I cannot let some stories distract my education. I'm still trying to make a good career. I will be back in one or two months. It is likely that I might be back in one month and no more. In the meantime, enjoy this special one-shot of one of my favorite rare ships. One that has potential to be canon. Let's go.

Mornings can be good in several ways. They tell you that a new day has started and it is time to get to work. They wake you up and you can't seem to go back into the Sandman's Realm.

But they can also be bad.

At least, that's what Ryuko felt in her opinion. The reason?

She just had one of the most peaceful nights she ever had. One filled with emotion, harmony, satisfaction, pleasure and most of all, love. She hated waking up from something so blissful. She immediately wanted to go back to sleep and enjoy more peace. But, work is always a pain in the butt. Especially, considering the fact that she was one of the top 10 Pro Heroes.

She got up and stretched her arms to untie the knots in her body. In doing so, the blanket fell from her body, exposing her skin to the air. When she looked down, she was confused.

Why in the world was she completely naked?

And this place doesn't feel like her home. It's much more spacious than hers.

Also, she clearly remembers not having any red blankets in her bed. More or less, in her own house.

And one more thing. Who was holding her by the abdomen?

She looked down to find an arm. A very well built arm that had some nasty scars dancing around it. The feeling of the unknown person's skin was rough, but a good kind of rough. Tracing the arm, she looked over her shoulder and found out who exactly was holding her so dearly. She covered her mouth to stop herself from screaming. Her face was as red as a strawberry.

It was him.

He was there. Right beside her, holding her nude body while sleeping and dreaming of God knows what. She had been searching for him for so long. She doesn't know how he came to her. But she's glad that he did. After all, this was the same boy who helped her become the hero she is today. This was that boy who protected her from bullies, despite being hurt by said bullies. This was that boy who wanted to be her friend, despite other kids calling her a dragon freak.

This was her longtime childhood friend and crush. Midoriya Izuku.

Flashback

"Dragon freak"

"Dragon freak"

"Dragon freak"

A group of middle school kids circled around a young girl with short blonde hair. This was 13 year old Tatsuma Ryuko. She was a loner and didn't really like to socialize. Currently she was being surrounded by a group of bullies, who kept chanting her nickname in order to haze her. She was on the verge of tears and since she was a loner, she didn't have any friend to ask for help. She tried to find some way to escape from here and go home but the bullies wouldn't let her.

"Come on. Turn into a dragon."

"We want to play Dragon Slayer with you."

While they seemed like they wanted to play with her, it was clear to her that they only wanted her for fun. She didn't want that. She may seem like a loner on the outside, but on the inside, she was desperately trying to make a friend. She wanted someone who could be her best friend. She wanted someone to chat with, play with and do all sorts of things together. She didn't care whether it was a boy or a girl or even an animal, she just wanted a friend.

Well, fate decided to answer that question for her in kind.

"HEY! GET AWAY FROM HER. YOU'RE MAKING HER UNCOMFORTABLE." Came a voice from behind the bullies. It was a young boy with messy green hair and freckles with a diamond shaped pattern. He looked liked he didn't eat anything in years.

"Hehe.. It's Deku." One bully grinned like an idiot as he turned around to face a very scared but determined Deku.

"Go mind your own business, Deku. This girl is ours to play with" said another bully.

"But you're making her uncomfortable and you're also making her cry." Izuku said as he took an amateur fighting stance. "Leave her now"

"You're still trying to be a hero even though you don't have a quirk? tch... useless nerd. Come on, let's beat him up" said one bully who seemed to be the leader of the group.

The whole group grinned maniacally and went to abuse the quirkless and helpess boy. All while Ryuko watched in fear and helplessness.

Few minutes later

"I think we're done with him. Let's get outta here before we get caught." The leader of the bullies said, before they all dispersed to their homes. From a nearby tree, Ryuko emerged from her hiding place and quickly went to the boy who was beaten up so badly, it looked like he was belted by a bad parent.

"A-are you okay?" She asked.

"I-i-i'm fine. T-thank you." Izuku said, as he got up to face her.

"W-what's your n-n-name?" She stuttered

"I-izuku. Midoriya Izuku" He replied in a bit of pain. "What's y-your's?"

"R-ryuko. Tatsuma Ryuko"

"N-nice to meet you"

"Nice to m-meet you, too."

"C-can I a-ask you s-something?" He nervously asked her.

"Sure"

"What's your quirk?"

She tensed at the question and didn't reply for a good few seconds.

"M-m-my quirk is called D-d-d-dragon?" She said before closing her eyes, ready to be insulted and called a 'Dragon freak.'

"W-wow. That's really cool"

She shot her eyes wide open at his reply. That was unexpected for her.

"Y-y-you really th-th-think so?" She asked, hoping it wasn't a lie.

"Y-yeah. I r-really like dragons and I wish I had a q-quirk like yours." Izuku said in slight excitement.

She was, yet again, shocked. Here is a boy who isn't insulting her or bullying her. Rather he thinks it's cool to have a dragon quirk. And he liked it too. No one liked her quirk, besides her and her parents of course. And now, this boy in front of her.

"D-do you want to play?" Izuku asked her. To which she, again, widened her eyes in surprise. No one ever wanted to play with her. Rather they just wanted to 'use' her for their own games.

"D-d-do you mean it?" She asked nervously.

"Yes!" Izuku quickly replied.

At that very moment, something ignited in Ryuko's heart. Something along the lines of 'a flutter.' She doesn't know what it is, yet. But she knows that this is the happiest she has been in her 13 years.

With a wide smile, she grabbed his hand and said, "Let's go play, Izuku." Izuku also smiled in return and went with her to the park to play together.

Present

She still remembers that day like it was yesterday.

But anyway, coming back to their current position.

"Mmm-" came a groan from the second inhabitant of the bed. He raised up and stretched himself to kick off the knots in his own body. All while Ryuko watched in her extremely flustered state. If she remembers correctly, Izuku never had been a muscular boy, but she didn't even mind that at all. But now? Now, he was muscular. Very, very muscular. So muscular that it made a tiny drop of blood trickle down from her nose. Why in the world was he SO FREAKING HOOOOOT?! -were her thoughts.

Izuku rubbed his eyes and opened them. He was immediately met with a sight that would completely be burned in his head, even without his control.

A naked and red face Ryuko.

And GAAWWD DAAYUUUM. Was she the definition of HOT or what? Maybe something along the lines of 'Drop dead sexy.' Yeah, that has a nice ring to it, don't you think?

He turned away in embarrassment to see something other than the forbidden sight in front of him. At least, in his opinion.

"H-h-h-h-Hi Izuku." She nervously stuttered out, still in her flustered state.

"Hi. Ryuko." He said before turning to and looking into her eyes. While she did the same to him.

Both looked at each for what seemed like eternity, before Ryuko hurriedly latched her arms around him for a hug. A very tight and loving embrace. Her hold on him was so strong that it felt like he would drift away into space and never come back. Izuku soon felt some hot tears fall on his shoulder, telling him that Ryuko was crying. And he didn't like it when she was crying. He tried to gently push her away but she just gripped him even tighter than before. Crying and mumbling something about 'not letting her go'. More along the lines of 'Don't leave me.' Without much of a choice, he just embraced her in return and waited for her to calm down.

After a few minutes of passionate embracing, Ryuko slowly let go of Izuku, albeit hesitantly. She lifted her hand to wipe the tears staining her face but couldn't do so because Izuku was using his own hand to gently caress her face and wipe out the stains.

"You don't really look pretty with tear stained eyes." Izuku said as he finished cleaning the last bit of her beautiful face.

"S-sorry." Ryuko whimpered.

"It's okay. Now. Let's get dressed. Shall we?" Izuku asked to which Ryuko nodded. Both of them turned around in order to not see each other get changed, cuz' that would be weird in both of their opinions. They didn't even bother to question how in the world did they arrive to this point. But a question for later.

"Wait for me in the dining hall, just to your left after you leave this room. I'll make some breakfast." Ryuko hummed in response as she quickly got dressed and sat in the dining hall of the house, which by the way, belonged to Izuku.

Timeskip

The two occupants of the house can be seen slurping some miso soup ramen for their breakfast. It turns out, Izuku was a really good chef. It was surprising to Ryuko considering the fact that she was stuck with him for nearly 6 years ever since they became friends.

After finishing their breakfast, Ryuko decided it was time to get some answers.

"Izuku..."

"Nande? Ryuko (What is it?)"

She walked up to him, grabbed him by the collar and pushed him to the nearby couch. Izuku let out a small yelp before being straddled by Ryuko. He instantly became red in the face due to the position they were in.

"I deserve an explanation." Ryuko coldly demanded, holding Izuku by his collar and not letting go. She didn't even care about the 'supposedly' lecherous position they were in.

"Ummm... for what?" Izuku tried to play ball. But Ryuko wasn't having any of it.

"Don't try to play with me Izuku. You know what I'm talking about. So. Start. Talking." The tone in her voice was so scary that it would even give Endeavor a run for his money.

"Well then.." He scratched his head not knowing where to begin. "...where should I start?"

"Start with why you left after our graduation."

"Ahh, yes. Well, you see, Ketsubutsu was the best decision I ever made. No doubt. But I still felt I could've learnt so much more. So I travelled across the world to find anything I could learn from."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"...Ryuko?" Izuku said breaking the awkward silence between them. He was feeling nervous right now. He looked into her eyes that were staring at him with all of her pent up anger at him.

"Did you know what you've put me through for all those years?" Ryuko asked. "Did you know how lonely I was when you left? Did you know how much I struggled here without you? Do you know how many times I tried to call you? Do. You. Know. How much I. MISSED. YOU?! DO YOU?! HUH?! TELL ME! NOW!" Ryuko was now yelling at him, venting all of her frustrations and irritations at him. She also shook him after every question.

"I umm- I-I-I..." Izuku nervously tried to answer back but couldn't find the words. He was shivering in fear of her anger.

*SNIFF*

Izuku stopped to see Ryuko barely on the verge of tears. She still had her iron grip on his collar, thanks to her dragon quirk.

*SNIFF* "The moment you left Japan, you broke my heart."

Those words cut Izuku's heart through and through. He never meant to break her heart like that. And he certainly didn't plan on it. How could he do that to the only girl he loves so much?

"I am completely heartbroken, Izuku. Do you hear me? I. Am. Heartbroken." Ryuko exclaimed, shaking him in the process.

"OKAY OKAY. I get it and I'm sorry. Okay? I'm sorry I didn't tell you I was leaving Japan. If I REALLY broke your heart, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to do that. I would never do that to you Ryuko." Izuku said with a bit of a sad tone in his voice.

Ryuko let go of his collar and placed her hands on his broad, muscular chest, feeling every inch of his upper torso. The action did catch Izuku slightly off guard but soon, he eased into her touch. There was something about Ryuko's touch that made him tingle, in a weird romantic kind of way.

"Did you leave because you hate me?" Ryuko asked in desperation.

...

Okay. Why in the world would she ask that stupid question? She mentally berated herself for that.

"NO!" Izuku shouted instantly. Ryuko shot up, surprised. Izuku immediately covered his mouth and mentally smacked himself.

"I don't hate you Ryuko. Far from it actually. But like I said, I just wanted to explore."

"But why didn't you tell me about this? Back in the day, you would always tell me these sort of things. Be it small or big, you never hid it from me. So why? Huh? I could've travelled with you, you know?" Ryuko said.

Izuku looked down in embarrassment. It wasn't because he just wanted to explore. It was something else.

"Ryuko, there is something I have to tell you before I get to that question." He took a deep breath and began to spill the beans. "Ever since our second year at Ketsubutsu, I've started to see you more as a woman instead of my best friend. I began to have romantic feelings for you."

That statement was enough to accelerate Ryuko's heartbeat to over 9000 MPH. Her childhood crush reciprocates her own feelings for said crush. Izuku continued.

"But then... then came Mirko and Uwabami."

What does Mirko and Uwabami have to do with this? Ryuko thought.

"You three were practically glued to one another. You started to hang out a lot with them. And you could only spend less time with me."

Oh, right. Mirko and Uwabami were their kouhais. When Izuku and Ryuko started their third year, Mirko and Uwabami were the fresh first years in Ketsubutsu. Ryuko and the first year females hit it off instantly. They hung out a lot and did a lot of things as a group of best friends. But it also took away her precious time with Izuku, something that she didn't realize. Until now. And she regretted it slightly.

"Don't get me wrong. I was happy that you were making more friends, especially girls. Anyway, I wanted to confess to you during our graduation but I couldn't. I couldn't do it because I saw how much you've grown. You've grown so much in the past few years that I don't even see myself in your life anymore.

And then I heard rumors about you, Mirko and Uwabami being in a three way relationship. Initially, I just ignored it. But after seeing you and your time with them, I didn't know what to do anymore." By now, Izuku spoke in a much more sad tone, which did not go unnoticed by Ryuko. "I thought that maybe we could just stay friends and move on. But I loved you Ryuko. And I still do now.

You're the most special person in my life and I wouldn't have it any other way. You're so beautiful. Both on the outside and on the inside. You're really kind and caring. You're fun and cool to be around. I could go on and on about amazing you are but you get my point.

And it's because you're so utterly beautiful that I thought that I don't deserve to be with someone as precious as you. I'm just a plain looking guy with no special talents or social skills. I'm just so useless when it comes to certain things. You deserve better Ryuko. Someone better than me.

Eventually, I thought it would be better for you if I left you to be with your special someone. Though, I realize now that I hurt you. Again, I'm sorry. But that's why I didn't tell you anything about my leave. I didn't want to burden you with my boring stuff."

Ryuko looked down till her eyes were shadowed by her hair. Until she began pinching and stretching his cheeks.

"ITAAAAAAAAAAA! ITA! ITA! ITA! ITA! ITA! ITA! ITA! ITAAAAAAA!" Izuku cried out in sheer pain from Ryuko's assault on his cheeks.

"BAKAYAROOOOO! BAKA BAKA BAKA BAKA BAKA BAKA BAKA BAKA BAKA BAKA BAKA BAKA BAKA BAKA BAKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Ryuko yelled out before she let go of his now tomato red puffed up cheeks. She let her walls down and let the waters fall down her face. What an idiot he was. How disturbing. How WRONG IT WAS.

"Itaa! (That hurts!)" Izuku said as he rubbed his cheeks to soothe the excruciating pain.

"Good. Because that's what you get for assuming so much NONSENSE. What were you thinking? Huh? Did you really think I was a yuri(lesbian)?

For your information, mister, I am hetero and have no such attractions to the female gender. Besides, you said they were rumours. And YOU of all people should know that rumours are false most of the time."

Izuku widened his eyes in shock. So it was all a big misunderstanding. Damn him and bad habit of overthinking. He should've known better.

"So... It's not true? That rumour? "

"Of course not, you moron. Besides, Mirko and Uwabami, both had crushes on you."

If Izuku wasn't already surprised before, he surely was now. Three girls romantically like him? This has to be some sort of fanfiction and not reality.

Which it kinda is buddy.

"They liked me?" Izuku asked in disbelief.

"Yes. And they tried so many times to confess but weren't successful in the end. Which I'm kinda glad about."

Before he could question as to why Mirko and Uwabami had a crush on him, Izuku raised an eye brow in confusion. "Why would you be glad about that?"

"Because of this."

Not giving him any time to answer, she closed the gap between them and smashed her lips onto his.

Izuku was completely caught off guard. He just sat there with his mouth being hungrily kissed by the beautiful woman in front of him that is Ryuko.

Just as she initiated it, she broke the kiss and looked into his eyes. Those green and shiny eyes she has always been mesmerized with.

"I really really love you, Izuku." She finally spoke the words she had been waiting to say for so long.

"Please don't joke with me... ITA!"

"I. Am. Not. JOKING." Ryuko said sternly while pinching his cheeks, again.

"B-but why me? I'm nothing special at all."

"You ARE special. You are special to me, okay? You might not know this, but you're MY special someone.

Ever since you became my friend back in middle school, I developed a small crush on you. After joining Ketsubutsu, that crush only grew bigger and bigger as I started to see how much of a good person you are. You're really nice to people even if they are bad. You really know how to make me laugh a lot. You have the heart of a true hero. You even went out of your way to just help me get good at handling my quirk. I might have hurt you so many times but that didn't bother you at all. You still worked hard just so I could handle my quirk better. You did all that for me. No other guy would do that for me. That's why you're special, Izuku. And I couldn't be more happier than to fall in love with you."

Ryuko exhaled after confessing her feelings for him. A huge weight being lifted off her shoulders could be felt by her.

Izuku on the other hand was surprised by this revelation. He really loved Ryuko. But to hear that she loved him back was something he did not expect at all. Sure he did hope for this but that hope was outweighed by the expectation that she might reject him.

But in the end, his feelings were being reciprocated. And he would be lying if he said he didn't feel happy right now.

"You mean it, Ryuko?" He asked.

Ryuko just interlocked her fingers with his and said, "With every fibre of my being", finishing it off with a smile.

They engaged in another passionate make out session, only this time, Izuku was the one who initiated it. They carried on for as long as their instincts told them.

But there was one question lingering on the back of Ryuko's mind.

Breaking from the kiss, she immediately asked, " Quick question. How in the world did I end up in your house? And why was I naked?"

Izuku immediately turned red in the face. He fidgeted nervously before he explained to her what had happened the night before.

After a few minutes of explaining, Ryuko became a blushing mess after what she just heard.

Apparently, Ryuko and her old batch of classmates were invited for a party at Ketsubutsu. Ryuko definitely attended in hopes of seeing Izuku, who of course attended the same. Needless to say, there were alcoholic beverages in the party. And both Izuku and Ryuko were not very strong in drinking. After the party, Izuku took Ryuko to his home and things went from normal to a romantic night of intense love making.

"I never wanted it to be this way but we're both to blame, if anything else" Izuku said to which Ryuko nodded.

You can always blame the booze for any funny stuff like this.

"But to be honest, I enjoyed it." Izuku said.

Ryuko's face resembled that of a tomato.
"I would be lying if I said I didn't the feel the same." She said before interlocking her fingers with both of his hands.

"Hey. Since it's our day off. Wanna go on a date with me?" Izuku asked her.

She wanted nothing more than to hear those words come from his mouth.

"Yes, Izuku. I would love to go with you."

That day was a special and memorable day

For the both of them.

A/N: See you soon.

Dragon out.
