I woke up late the next day finding a deep purple elven dress strewn across our bed. I decided to wear it as I did not have anything else to wear. I plaited my hair in Elvan braids before I left the room to find the King. I found him sitting by a river that snaked its way through the cavern.

"Hey?"

Thranduil looked up at me, "There she is."

"I'm sorry, I've been asleep so long." I apologized and sat beside him.

"Don't be, I'm glad that you can feel some degree of comfort at my side."

I looked at him, "Of course I do." I started to cry.

"Hey none of that." He pressed his cheek against my hair.

"Why then do I sense a barrier between us."

"There is no barrier." He gently tucked my loose hair behind my ear, "but I know you're not telling me something. So maybe that's what you feel." He lifted my hand and placed it in his, "Or maybe you feel the barrowed time like I do but unless you put them up there is nothing between us."

"Maybe there's reason to put up a wall."

He kissed my hand.

"Stop." I pressed my fingertips against his lips. "I am not worthy anymore."

He kissed my fingers that were pressed against his lips.

"I'm too dirty."

Thranduil looked at me, "What do you mean?"

"I am not worthy of being your Tari anymore."

"This is about last night." He gathered.

"Not only last night." I took a breath, "I had children with Loki."

"Okay and…"

"Okay and? I thought you would be furious with me."

"Synn look at me." He called me by my Elvan name, "Of course you had children with him. I'm sure the Asgaurdians wanted you to have children," He nudged me with his elbow, "If Legolas is any indocation, you make beautiful children.

I rolled my eyes and and nudged him back, "He's more Elf then me."

Heee knelt in front of me and kissed my eyes.

I swallowed a few sobs as I looked at him, he pressed his forehead to mine as we just stayed there for a moment sharing each others breath.

"You still want me?" I was shocked, I was sure he would turn me away.

He wiped away tears from my cheeks.

" Come on."'

"Where?"

"To make up for lost time, My Starlight."

He towed me to our bed.

"Thranduil? Wait,We haven't been together since...well since-"

"Since the night,we made Legolas."

"Yes."

He kissed me deeply.

I cleared my throat, 'ni méla tye"

He stared at me.

"Did I say it right?"

He nodded. "Don't say that to me unless you mean it."

"Ni Mela Tye."

He grinned at me trying to speak his native tongue then he cleared his own throat he tried to remember the bit of Asgardian he learned so many years ago, "Ek Elsa Thik."

As we embraced our lips and our tongues danced together.

"A lot of things has happened."

He kissed me and made a noise like a moan and a groan, "Tell me after." He kissed me again.

"And I'm married,"

"Didn't you tell me he wants another wife?" He calmly chipped away my defenses.

"He does."

"Then why can't you have another husband?"

"Depends, will you ask for another wife in a thousand years?"

Thranduil smiled down at me, "Stay with me just for tonight."

"I-I don't know." I sat up on the side of his bed.

"We never have to tell Loki anything." He said as he soothed my brow and smoothed a hand through my silky, Elvan hair.

That was all it took to weaken my resolve and I fell backwards onto the Elvanking's bed.

He made a move against me and I arched my back and moaned.

Being with him filled me again with everything I thought President Loki took from me.
