"Five patrols in one hour." Leo hissed, making them all groan and frown.

"Don't they have anything better to do?" Donnie sighed, examining the laser burn, wincing at the red and swollen edges of the wound. It was a little better after finding some basic first aid supplies in the tank, but without something a little more permanent, this was only going to get worse.

Vaguely, he heard Mikey whining about being hungry, making a mental note to add ration bars to his duffle bag once all this was over, along with better medical supplies and something that could absorb overloads.

… if they ever got out of this situation that was.

Shaking his head, he turned his thoughts away from that, just in time to hear Leo speak up.

"We need a plan of action."

"We need to get off this planet as soon as we can." Professor Honeycutt stated, "And as quietly as possible, which means smugglers. I know of one particularly sleazy bar we can obtain off-world transport."

This was all starting to sound like the plot of Star Wars.

"That sounds like as good a plan as we're getting." Leo sighed, "Lead the way Professor."

They moved through the shadows until they were across the street from the bar in question. Even with it clearly being an alien one, they all knew a New York-esque, seedy bar when they saw it.

"No offense Prof, but this really doesn't seem like your kind of place." Raph gestured at the building.

"Well, I'm very partial to the Doohibian spicy cheese discs they make here. At least…" He tapped at his metal stomach, "… I used to be."

"Alien pizza." Mikey groaned, "Even that sounds good right now."

"Alright, we can't just walk in there." Leo changed the subject, not wanting to listen to another thirty minutes of Mikey whining about being hungry, "Our pictures are everywhere."

"So, we disguise ourselves." Donnie turned, pointing out what looked like washing hanging on a line. Long, red robes that would be perfect in hiding their hair colour…and a dress that was immediately thrown to Mikey.

"Hey, why do I have to wear the dress?!"

"You're the only one who can make themselves fill it."

Mikey pouted, even as he knew they were right. "Alright." He sighed, "But you have to defend me from any wandering hands." He climbed into the dress, muttering something about 'preferring to shift into animals.'

He had it own, only to grimace, "Oh, I just know that this colour is going to clash with my eyes." He grumbled, making his figure more feminine, changing his hair and eye colour as he went. By the time he was done, he looked like a completely different person.

"Beautiful." Raph teased.

"I am only doing this for the food."

…..

"This had better be worth it." Mikey muttered, pulling the hood further over his face at the sight of all their faces plastered across holographic portraits, trying not to shudder at the leering stares, "How do I scream 'underage' in this language."

No answer.

He froze when he realised that they were all gone, opening his mouth to call out for them, only to stop when he saw the cook tossing something in a frying pan.

His brothers could wait.

He and his stomach were going to party.

….

"I do believe these gentlemen can help us."

Donnie looked over to where the Professor was pointing, frowning at the sight.

They looked exactly like Han Solo and Chewbacca… they were definitely in some sort of Star Wars plot.

Could he make his bo staff a double-ended lightsaber?

No!

Don't get lost in thoughts like that.

Don't get distracted.

"We can do better." "We can do better." Raph and Leo said in unison, clearly seeing the same thing that Donnie had, only for them all to jump at the sound of soldiers bursting through the door.

"EVERYONE FREEZE IN THE NAME OF THE FEDERATION!"

"Man…" Raph muttered, reaching into his pocket to grab some marbles, "… they'll let anyone in this place."

Leo quickly grabbed his brother's wrist and shook his head. He quickly looked around, to see a back door, which he gestured towards. "Come on." He whispered.

Slowly, they backed away, only for Mikey to stop when he felt a blaster at his back.

"Hey you! Get back in there!"

"You wouldn't hit a lady would you?" Mikey asked, batting his eyelashes as he looked up at the guard, "But you know… a lady would hit you!"

With a sharp kick to the face, the guard fell unconscious, as Mikey turned to the others, "Don't hate me because I'm beautiful."

"TROOPERS! OPEN FIRE!"

The boys leapt into action as the civilians all scurried away as quickly as possible. Food was flung everywhere as fog and mini explosions filled the room.

With his shoulder still sore, Donnie kept to the side-lines as best he could, moving to grab one of the dropped blasters, eyeing it in fascination. "Shouldn't be too hard to find the on switch." He murmured, only for his eyes to widen when he realised that the guards were surrounding them.

A fact that the Professor repeated nervously.

"Take out the alien trash, but don't target the fugitoid! ON MY ORDER!"

Before they could fire however, there was an explosion behind them, the wall crumbling to pieces as a squadron of Dinosaur-esque aliens strode in through the hole.

"Find the fugitoid… destroy everything else! TO VICTORY!"

Lasers started flying in all directions, as Leo rushed to pull Donnie and the Professor to safety behind the counter.

"Man, who invited the dinosaurs!" Raph griped.

"Those are the Triceratons." Honeycutt stated, "A ruthless war-seeking race who are the sworn enemies of the Federation. I simply can't imagine what they're doing here!"

When the face of one of these Triceratons appeared over the bar, Leo was quick to kick them back.

"WE NEED A WAY OUT OF HERE!" Mikey yelled out, hiding behind a support beam, bear claws swiping at anyone who came too close, even as the pillar was blasted, stone chipping away.

"DONNIE'S WORKING ON IT!" Leo than looked over at Donnie, had was putting the blaster back together, "You are working on it aren't you?"

"Consider it worked on!" And then Donnie was racing over to another table, with Leo frantically trying to grab him.

"Donnie! Donnie!"

Donnie made it with no issues, rapping at the underside of the table, "Hmmm, structurally sound." Setting the blaster on a timer to explode, he climbed onto the table. "All aboard!"

Raph and Mikey made it with no issues, with Leo in charge of getting the Professor to safety. When the droid tripped, Leo soon found himself separated from the Professor, eyes widening as he watched the poor droid picked up and carried out of the club.

"LEO!"

Knowing that there was nothing he could do just now, Leo read over to the table, just managing to climb on before the blaster underneath self-detonated, and they were sent flying out of the hole in the wall, Mikey screaming the entire way.

When they crash-landed, Leo only just managed to catch a glimpse of the Triceratons as they bundled the Professor into some sort of hover-car. His entire body ached, and judging from the way his brothers were groaning, they felt the same.

"That… didn't help with my shoulder in the slightest." Donnie groaned, weakly pushing himself to his knees and examining the wound.

It already looked like it was going to bruise spectacularly.

"Someone grab Donnie!" Leo ordered, "They're getting away with the Professor!"

"I don't need someone to grab me, I can walk!"

It was too late.

With a cry of fear, the Professor struggled to try and get free as the hover-car shot off into the sky.

"They're getting away!" Mikey groaned as he got to his feet, "I'll go after them!"

"Don't get shot down." Raph gritted through his teeth, "Understood."

Mikey was uncharacteristically serious, nodding as he shifted into a hawk, shooting after the car.

Meanwhile, Donnie wrenched himself free from Raph's grasp, heading over to a beaten down hover-car that seemed to have been abandoned in the alleyway.

"Look at this!"

"…That bucket of bolts?"

"Oh, ye of little faith!" Opening up the cockpit, Donnie examined the controls, pulling his bo staff out of his bag and extending it, hoping that it had some back-up power still left inside of it. "Help me up?"

Raph lifted him onto the side, wincing when Donnie leaned over, hearing the teen hissing in pain occasionally as he tinkered with what he hoped was the engine.

If it didn't look useful or rusted, it was thrown out.

It wasn't long before it was roaring to life, letting out quite a lot of smoke before it stabilised.

"At least Mikey isn't here to make Star Wars or Star Trek references." Leo groaned, climbing into a seat.

Before Donnie could strap himself into the driver's seat, Raph moved him to one side.

"Injured thirteen-year-olds don't get to drive." He grumbled.

"You're only fifteen!"

"… I'm driving. You can tell me what buttons to press."

"Fine… if my quick study is right, this one and then those two at the same time."

Raph did as he was told, wincing when the car rose into the air…and then shot forwards, making them all screech in alarm. He fought with the steering wheel, hitting the sides of buildings, and twisting the car onto one side to fit between narrow gaps.

"I could have flown it better!" Donnie groaned, as Leo audibly gagged behind them, "Raph! Raph!"

"I've got it! Calm down!"

They headed out of the city, over a field of red crops as they caught sight of the other shuttle.

Mikey seemed to be going by unnoticed… they did not.

"We've got Horn-heads on our tail!" Leo cried out.

"Then get rid of them weather boy!" Raph yelled, "Hurricane them out of the sky!"

"And probably us along with them!"

His own explosive powers probably wouldn't help either. Growling, Raph's eyes scanned over the buttons, "Are there any weapons on this flying trash pile?!"

"Not that I can tell." Donnie leant over and grabbed the wheel, "It's just going to take some creative flying!"

"Donnie! Hands off!"

"I can do this! You focus on breaking when needed!"

"Donnie!"

The shuttle ducked below the treeline, weaving and swerving between the trunks.

"Don't break!" Donnie ordered, aiming them straight for a thick trunk.

"Donnie! Donnie!"

At the last second, Donnie steered the shuttle sharply to the right, avoiding the crash, but ensuring that one of the Triceratons crashed into it instead.

"Oh, you can tell that you've learnt to drive in New York." Raph groaned, clutching at his stomach. The groan turned into a yelp, when the remaining two Triceratons managed to shoot out the back thrusters.

"Alright..." Leo unstrapped himself, "... Remember what Dad always says. Anything that can a weapon." Using his katana to slice through what was holding the seats into the shuttle, he created a little fog before them, "You guys look tired!" He called out, "Have a seat!"

The seat went flying out of the shuttle with a strong gust of wind, taking out a second pursuer.

It was then that they saw the Pterodactyl heading straight for the last Triceraton.

"MIKEY!"

One shot blasted the last thruster out, sending them careering to the ground. As the Triceraton landed on the front end of the shuttle, attempting to rip out the engine, Mikey as the Pterodactyl clawing at his furiously in an attempt to get him off.

Neither Donnie or Raph could see anything with all the flailing arms and wings in the way, occasionally ducking to avoid being hit in the face.

"BRAKES!" Donnie screeched, "BRAKES!"

Mikey wrenched the Triceraton off, as the shuttle bounced off the top of the trees, before skidding to the ground and tipping over to one side.

It was as hard a crash as the makeshift-table rocket had been, but it was till enough to make Donnie feel sick when there was a loud POP after the impact, his arm hanging limply by his side.

"Ugh, nice landing you two." Leo grunted, as Raph rolled his eyes.

"It could have been worse." It was then that Raph noticed Donnie's limp arm, "Shit, Leo we have dislocation."

Leo let out a few curses under his breath, heading over as Donnie sat on a nearby rock, already knowing that this was going to hurt. He felt Leo grip at his arm, already wincing at the shooting pain.

"At least it's this arm." His brother pointed out gently, "Not your healthy one."

"That doesn't make me feel much better."

"I know." Leo sighed, "Deep breaths, on the count of three. One… TWO!"

Donnie screamed as his shoulder was popped back into place, trying to focus on breathing so that he didn't throw up all over the place.

"Sorry kid." Leo winced, "Come on, let's get a sling on it and promise ourselves something… no more crash landings."

A sentiment that was agreed with, judging by Raph and Mikey's groans, as a makeshift sling was made, and Donnie's arm was strapped up once again.

"So…" Leo looked up to the sky, "… that's it then?"

"Leo?"

"We lost the Professor, and therefore we lost the ability to go home… we failed."

"Geez." Raph muttered, "Lighten up Leo, we'll find a way."

Mikey nodded, "Yeah, we always do!"

There was a brief pause, before Donnie spoke up, the urge to vomit having passed. "Is this a bad time to mention that I put a tracker on Honeycutt when we first talked about bringing him with us?"

They all turned to him, as he pulled his tracking device out of the duffle bag.

There was no point in scolding the teen for his absent-mindedness, as Leo shook his head fondly. "Good work Donnie. Let's- "He paused when he heard rumbling and blaster shots in the distance, "Come on…. Keep low to the ground."

"Awww." Mikey grumbled, "Just once I wish we could run AWAY from the explosions!"

Peering through the leaves of nearby bushes, they all grimaced at the battle going on ahead of them.

"What have we stumbled into now?" Raph sighed, looking over at Donnie when he heard the teen groan.

"Professor Honeycutt is in there." He pointed at the building being besieged.

"Donnie, stick close to me." Leo ordered, "Let's go!"

They rushed out onto the battlefield, dodging the awry blaster shots, quickly realising that the two opposing sides were too focused on each other to even pay attention to them. Unfortunately, it wasn't long before the Triceraton bunker started to close up.

"They're booking it!" Raph charged forwards, jumping into the building as the large door started to close, automatically charging the nick-nacks in his pocket and throwing them at the guards that had finally seemed to notice him.

The explosions sent them scurrying off in the other direction as Raph chuckled.

"Yeah, that's what I thought." Hitting the red button by the door, he watched as it opened up, letting his siblings in, before it closed again.

Slowly, cautiously, they headed further into the building, only to pause when they came across what looked like a cargo bay.

"Odd." Leo frowned, "Why would a bunker... have a cargo bay?"

And then the 'building' started to shake and rumble.

"Umm, maybe because it's not a bunker?"

The bunker rose into the air, before suddenly shooting forwards, sending them all crashing into the ship wall, Donnie biting back a groan as shooting pain raced up and down his arm. It was over as quickly as it began, leaving them floating around above the boxes and crates.

Slowly, Donnie floated over to the nearest window, eyes widening when he saw where they were.

"We're in space!" Mikey squeaked, having followed him over to the window, "We-we-we- "

And then they heard an ominous creaking sound, as the wall behind Raph and Leo started to crack.

"Get away from there!" Donnie yelled, "Get- "

The crack opened up, as boxes were sucked out into space. Quickly, the brothers all hide behind a large metal container, which just about managed to block the crack.

"No… air!" Mikey panted, hands clasping at his throat.

"Save… your… breath!" Leo forced out.

"But- "

"Save… your…BREATH!"

"But- "

"SAVE…YOUR…BREATH!" The other three all cried out, eyes slipping shut as everything started to go black.
