RWBY: Pokémon Rise of Evolution

An: Back again, and now we'll get to see how everyone handles the madness Ruby has caused. Once again, I'd like to thank ZeroTheOne for all his help with this story! Enjoy!

Chapter 2- Chaotic Aftermath

Ash wasn't sure just how long he stared at the gaggle of Pokémon and people going crazy. Truthfully, it might have been a few minutes, but to the would-be Pokémon master, it felt like hours. He tried to wrap his head around what had just happened, but he found he couldn't think straight with all the racket around him. He tried to drown them out, but they insisted on growing louder.

Finally deciding this was getting them nowhere, he finally decided he do something about it. "ENOUGH!" he snapped, making everyone turn to him. "Panicking is not helping us! We need to calm down and think rationally about this!"

Everyone stared at Ash wide eyed for a moment. However, Brock quickly regained his bearings and agreed. "Ash is right. We all need to calm down so we can discuss this calmly," the would-be Pokémon breeder informed the group.

"Right! Calm! Calm…I can be calm…" Pikachu mumbled to himself. He shook his head and took a deep breath. "Ok…I think I'm calm now," he said aloud. Grovyle grunted in agreement as Torkhole, Corfish, and Swellow did the same.

May's Combuskin nodded eagerly. "I am calm as well!" she said with a tomboyish tone. Very soon, all the other Pokémon were taking efforts to calm themselves as the trainers shook themselves as well, bolstered by Ash's Pokémon. Ash smiled as the noise dimmed around the group.

"Thanks for that, Ash right?" Rebecca asked. Ash nodded. "Great. Now that we're level headed, let's assess the situation."

Rafe nodded. "I agree. So, we have someone who hijacked the TV signal to issue a grave warning for us trainers," he began.

"Actually, I don't think they did," Rebecca rebuked him. She turned to her laptop and quickly strummed the keyboard. "I'm doing some quick scans of LaRousse's security grid, and I haven't found any trace of hacking."

"Wait, you're telling us that they didn't hack the signal?!" Max asked.

"Either that or they're better than I'm estimating," Rebecca answered. She frowned at her screen. "What's more interesting, however, isn't that. It's the girl." She turned her laptop around and showed a still of the red cloaked individual, her outline and her eyes glowing silver. "She has a glow around her, similar to psychic type Pokémon."

"So, could she be a psychic?" Kathryn asked.

"It's possible," Brock replied, looking thoughtful. "I know Sabrina, a Gym leader in Kanto, is psychic, so this girl being a psychic isn't too strange."

"But could a psychic really be so powerful to allow Pokémon to talk like humans?" Audrey asked.

"I'm not sure, but they not have to be as powerful as we think," Ash commented. "Team Rocket has a talking Meowth, and I think he made an off-hand comment about he taught himself to talk before."

"That's right!" Pikachu piped up. "Meowth had been yelling at Jesse saying he had put so much effort into talking and thinking like a human he never learned Payday!"

"So, we were always capable of human speech?" Rafe's Blaziken asked with a deep voice. Pikachu turned to him and nodded enthusiastically.

"But why would that girl do this?" May asked. "I mean, Pokémon are already smart on their own. Why make more like Meowth?"

"She obviously thought it was necessary," Pyrrha mumbled quietly. "Otherwise, she wouldn't have done it."

However, Rafe heard her and frowned. "Which reminds me…Pyrrha," he said tonelessly. The redhead flinched at his tone and turned to face him. "When that girl appeared on the screen, you looked like you saw a ghost." Pyrrha's face lost a bit of color. "Do you know her?"

Everyone looked to Pyrrha at this. "Do you, Pyrrha?" Kathryn asked in confusion.

Pyrrha sweated a bit under the stares. After a moment of disquiet, she sighed miserably. "I cannot be sure," she admitted. The others looked curious. "I…When I saw her, I think a part of me hoped it was her, but I can't be sure, as I didn't see her face all that well." She looked down, and mumbled, "But the red cloak and silver eyes…"

"What about them?" Sid asked. Pyrrha didn't answer for a moment.

"A good friend of mine has silver eyes, and always wore a red cloak," she admitted softly.

"When was the last time you saw her?" Rafe asked.

"A year ago," Pyrrha answered. "Just before a distortion brought me to Earth."

"Wait. You're a Remnantian?" Ash exclaimed in shock. Pyrrha nodded.

"Yes."

"Did your friend get caught in the distortion, too?" Max asked. The former Mistral tournament champion shook her head.

"I don't know. That's why I can't be sure," she admitted. The others stared at her solemnly. Ash tried to say something else, but they soon came to the end of the moving sidewalk, causing them to nearly fall into a pile as they reached unmoving earth. The group looked around and found the Battle Tower staring down at them.

"Attention visitors," an automated voice resonated from somewhere in the Battle Tower. "Because of unfortunate circumstances, all battles will be postponed for the day. We apologize to all Trainers for any inconveniences this may have caused. However, all training arenas will be opened for public use. That is all."

"Wha-?!" Pikachu exclaimed. "No battles?!"

"What a shame," Blaziken sighed. "But perhaps a mock battle with satiate our thirst for battle."

"Yeah!" the loud voice of Blastiose agreed with a nod.

"Ok!" Pikachu cheered, suddenly much more cheerful. "I'm up for that!" Ash grinned at that.

Yeah. Maybe a battle or two will help calm everyone down a bit.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the Battle Tower, Jaune was freaking out.

His Pokémon were freaking out.

Ren was chasing down his Totodile while his Meditite was, well, meditating.

And Nora? Well…

"OH MY GOSH THIS IS SO AMAZING!"

Nora was trying to hug her Pokémon to death.

"I'm…" came the boyish voice of her breathless Jolteon. "Glad you…are…en-joying this…but…I…can't…breathe…!"

"Miss Nora…" Slaking grunted under the impressive strength of the orangette. "We won't last…" He grunted. "Much longer if you…don't…let us go…"

"Reeeennnnnn…" Electabuzz groaned. "JJJuuuuuuaaaaaannnnnnn…Heeeeeelllllppppp!"

"My name's not Juan," Jaune muttered automatically. Thankfully, however, that was enough for him to calm himself down and take a few deep breaths. "Ok…ok…I'm good now." He turned to his teammate and said, "Nora."

"Yes, Jaune?" Beaming, turquoise eyes turned to him as she smiled.

"Your Pokémon need to breathe."

"But…"

"Nora."

"Jaune, they…"

"I know they can talk, but they won't be able to much longer if you suffocate them."

"Aw…" Nora looked devastated as she, reluctantly, released her Pokémon from her grasp. Jolteon gasped loudly as he fell to the ground, relishing in the fresh air his lungs were receiving.

"Thanks, Jaune!" he called out.

"Yes," Slaking said softly, stretching to work out any kinks from Nora's bear hug. "Thank you, Mr. Arc."

"Don't mention it," Jaune told him. He looked over and saw Ren tackling Totodile and sighed. "I think it's time we talked about what has just happened," he announced.

"Jaune! The Pokémon are talking!" Nora exclaimed. She tried to hug her Pokémon again, but they evaded her. "What more is there to talk about?!"

"Nora," the blonde sighed. "The girl on screen. Who did she look like?" Nora was confused by the question for a moment, then her brain caught up, and her eyes widened. "Exactly."

"Are…" Ren huffed in exhaustion, Totodile squirmed excitedly in his arms. "Can it really be…Ruby?" he asked. The starter Pokémon in Ren's arms stopped moving and looked to his Trainer.

"One of those friends you're looking for?" Totodile's voice sounded like a young boy's, with a notable lisp to his speech. Ren looked to him and nodded.

"If that was her," Jaune mumbled, "what could be the reason she hijacked the TV signals? And is she responsible for Pokémon gaining the ability to speak like humans?"

"It couldn't be," another voice called out. Jaune turned to his Gabite. Gabite shook his head. "Even if she was a psychic, the power needed to do…whatever she did, to so many Pokémon…" He gestured to all the Pokémon around them. "Would be tremendous. More than any human could achieve."

"Maybe a Pokémon helped her?" Nora supplied.

"It would have to have been a city's worth of psychic types," Ren's Meditite replied.

"Or a Legendary," Electabuzz commented. "Though, I doubt any would follow this girl to even attempt what has happened."

"Attention everyone!" The small group turned to see a LaRousse police officer walking out of the Battle Tower. "If you are a non-Trainer, I ask that you vacate the premises immediately! If you are a Trainer, either vacate with the civilians or make your way inside to one of the training areas! We apologize for the inconvenience!"

Jaune noted many people began growing louder at the speech, while Trainers simply began walking away or into the Tower. The leader of JNPR sighed. "Alright then. Let's finish this conversation inside."

Ren and Nora nodded while their Pokémon exclaimed loudly, their thirst for battle awakening.

Officer Jenny was steadily growing more and more flustered.

There was chaos all over the city. A riot was forming just outside of the Pokémon Center, and she had to deal with the breach of security that mystery girl caused! Her department was running thin, and the security bots could only corral so many people.

Currently, the blue haired officer was trying to calm down the men and women around her so they could explain to her what the frag was going on. Hopefully, once that was accomplished, they could actually get down to the actual investigation. Especially since just learned there wasn't any security breach.

"What do you mean the broadcast was paid for?!" Jenny snapped at an officer.

"I mean, Officer Jenny, is that someone actually paid for the allotted time on air, ergo it was a paid-for advertisement," was the reply she got.

"Great. Our bosses are going to love that," she groaned. "With no one hurt, and only Pokémon gaining human speech and possible increased intelligence, I think the only thing we can charge them with is disturbing the peace." She turned to her staff. "Who bought the time?"

"We're looking into it as we speak, ma'am," a technician answered. "We should know in a matter of minutes."

"Excellent! Now, what's the status of LaRousse?" she asked.

"Surprisingly stable, ma'am," an officer spoke up. "The only problem areas are downtown, The Pokémon Center, and the train plaza. Everyone else is just trying to wrap their brains around their Pokémon suddenly beginning to talk like them."

"And the situations in the three problem areas?"

"The riot at the Pokémon Center is steadily growing more and more volatile. Reporters asking for information on the crisis at hand, and demanding how they'll fix it are growing at a concerning rate. Several unconfirmed reports of Pokémon calling their Trainers out for abuse have also added more fuel this, as is Trainers simply wanting their Pokémon treated and/or returned. The train plaza is the least chaotic of the three, with Trainers mainly having trouble keeping their Pokémon in check."

"And downtown?"

"It would seem that some of the wild Pokémon in the area have been…corralling the other wild Pokémon into groups and attacking stores," another officer explained. "Petty theft of clothes, food, and other assorted small items have been reported stolen."

"There are even reports saying these groups were being led by a talking Pokémon," a technician said.

"How many of these wild Pokémon were affected by…the incident?" Jenny asked.

"Surprisingly, not many," the technician explained. "Preliminary reports show that out of the entire Pokémon population of LaRousse, mainly Pokémon with Trainers, or those with a license to own Pokémon have been affected. Roughly a little less than forty percent."

Jenny nodded to this. "Alright. Now, tell me, what do we know of the girl in the red cloak?"

"Nothing."

"That's not what I wanted to hear."

"I'm sorry, ma'am. But she's not registered in LaRousse, nor can she be found in any register around the world," the technician explained. "We're still looking, but it's entirely possible she's a refugee from the other world, ma'am."

"Great," Jenny groaned. "That's going to be a headache to deal with!"

Officer Jenny, ma'am!" a younger officer shouted as she ran up to the group. "We have who bought the bought the broadcast time!" Jenny exhaled heavily at the statement.

"Excellent! That's one answer! Who is it?" she asked.

"His name is Whitley Schnee, ma'am!" the officer said and handed Jenny a file. The blue haired officer took it and opened it to reveal a photo of a young man in a pristine blue and white suit with white hair and blue eyes with a blue penguin Pokémon hanging off his head.

"He's a Remnantian refugee that has made a pretty big name for himself on Earth. He is the CEO of a multi-million dollar conglomerate specializing in…w-well, several fields," the officer continued, gulping. "He helped several small, unrelated businesses grow into large corporations, then those same companies came to work under him to form Schnee Corporations, with its main focus being the betterment of Pokémon. He's currently working on a Pokémon sanctuary in Kanto. He's done all this in under a year. B-Basically, he's a business prodigy, ma'am."

Jenny flipped through the files. "Why would sixteen-year-old business prodigy residing in Kanto buy airtime for a city in Hoenn?" she questioned. "And what's his connection to the girl in red?"

"I've already been in contact with him, ma'am! He's willing to explain his actions, but he requests you meet him at his sanctuary site in Kanto," the officer said. "Y-Your cousin in Kanto has asked you consider his offer since no laws as of yet have been broken and he's willing to cooperate."

Jenny grumbled, thinking her cousin was wrong. "Alright. I'll talk it over with the chief," she muttered. "As for the rest of you, get those problem areas under control!"

"Yes ma'am!"

"People! Please! Calm down!" Nurse Joy cried as she reached over the line of cops defending the Pokémon Center. Trainers, reporters, and civilians yelled over each other as they tried to get past another line of cops in riot gear. Many held injured or sick Pokémon high, begging for entry into the center.

"Nurse Joy! Do you have any idea why Pokémon are able to speak the human language?!" a reporter demanded, holding his microphone in-between two riot shields.

"Back!" an officer barked, pushing his shield forward. "I said back!"

"Bastards!" a trainer shouted in protest. "I want my Pokémon back now!"

"I don't want to go anywhere with you, Monster!" a Cyndaquil squealed from behind Joy's leg. The fire type shivered in fear and anger. "Leave me alone!"

"Nurse Joy!" a young girl cried. "My Butterfree!"

"Little Suzy!" a pink colored Butterfree exclaimed as she tried to fly over the wall of men. Joy's Chancey, thankfully, caught the butterfly Pokémon quickly.

"No! You're not healed fully yet!" the Pokémon exclaimed.

"People please!" Joy tried again. "We will resolve any issues you have and get your sick and wounded Pokémon cared for! But we all need to calm down!"

They didn't calm down. If anything, they grew louder, rowdier. The pink haired nurse trembled at the madness. How was she supposed to end this chaos?

When her vision returned, it was quickly obscured by rain.

Weiss wiped her eyes on her sleeve and quickly examined her surroundings. She immediately became concerned. Where was the CCT? The Grimm? What was with the moon?!

All around her, her team was sprawled on the ground, unconscious. She picked herself up, only to stumble and fall again. She gritted her teeth and crawled around to her teammates, checking them for any additional injuries, and she found none. She sighed in relief.

"Thank goodness," she mumbled as the downpour grew heavier. A light splashing caught her attention, making her raise Myrtenaster in defense. She looked up to see a lone figure under an umbrella standing before her.

An unpleasant feeling clenched her heart, telling her not to trust him. However, she knew she couldn't help her team alone, not as she was or how they were currently. So, with gritted teeth, the heiress called out: "Please…my friends need help."

"Don't worry, my dear," came the silky response, revealing the person was male. The unpleasant feeling worsened. "Help is already on the way…"

Weiss jolted awake. Her eyes darted around, only to see the rundown office of the warehouse they were staying at. She sighed. "Just a dream," she mumbled. She groaned as she tried to work out the kinks in her neck. She stretched her arms over her head, only for her to stop once her right hand brushed up against one of her fins.

She froze for a second and sighed. Even months later, the fact she was now essentially a Faunus was still a new experience for her. She bit back a curse at Team Rocket. Not only for splicing her DNA with Pokémon DNA, but also her team as well. Standing from the recliner she fell asleep on, Weiss walked over to a foggy old mirror they found not long after coming to LaRousse.

The Schnee heiress examined herself. A lot had changed after the splicing, least of all her new features. Her eyes were still sky blue, albeit a few shades brighter. Her hair was still white, though two long strands with blue tips hung from her head and framed her face like tassels.

Of course, the fins on the side of her head, just behind her ears completed the look of top profile. She looked down at her clawed hands and sighed again. "Why did everything have to get so complicated?" she asked herself.

Suddenly, her ears caught loud voices heading her way. She twitched and sighed again, in annoyance this time. "Give me a break," she muttered as she turned around to see Yang and Blake walking into the office, arguing.

Again.

Trotting in behind them was Weiss's Pokémon companion, a Ponyta she had named Star. Meekly, the fire type looked around the office and caught sight of Weiss and yelped. Weiss watched as Star made her way to the heiress and away from the fight.

"Did you forget Team Rocket doesn't even have a foothold in Hoenn, Blake?!" the blonde asked hotly, her beloved hair beginning to stand on end around her new horns. Her fists, one human looking hand with ivory claws, and one Gardevoir claw (replacing the one she lost at the Battle of Beacon), clenched tight as she stared down at the now purple eyed Faunus. Said Faunus's new garnet gem centered on her forehead gleamed in the dim light.

"Did you also forget that Team Rocket is also planning to expand into Hoenn?" Blake countered, her new tail twitching in agitation. "What makes you believe they won't accelerate their timetable to get us back? Or did you forget that WE happen to be the first successful gunnie pigs to become human/Pokémon hybrids?"

"They were going find us eventually! Might as well do it now, and fight 'em off!" Yang fired back.

"What if they made more Hybrids like us, Yang?!" Blake returned. "What then?! Will you fight them in the streets and endanger hundreds?!"

"They're months away from making more of us!" Yang growled out. Heat began to rise from her form. "They only got so far with us because of you!"

"They have MY DNA on file, Yang!" Blake hissed. "They'll recreate what they did for us eventually!"

"Geez, they're still arguing?" a large Pigeot Blake had named Sky questioned as he stuck his head through one of the windows.

The grunt of Rex, Yang's Pokémon companion, resounded from behind him.

"And if they do, what's your big plan, huh?!" Yang asked her. She marched up to Blake and stared down at her. "Just keep running? Like we've been doing for months now?" Her eyes narrowed. "You seem to be good at running…"

Blake flinched at that statement, but she quickly rallied and narrowed her eyes at the taller girl. "And you're pretty good at losing limbs because you refuse to back down, aren't you?" she hissed as her eyes began to glow with power. Yang's eyes started turning red and flames wafted off her shoulder blades.

Weiss decided to step in at this point. "Ok! Enough! Both of you!" she ordered sternly as she marched in-between the two girls. "Remember Ruby's still unconscious in here, and waking her up could have negative effects on her health."

"Yes. So, please, stop your barking," Drei commented from the bed. The Eevee raised his head and glared at the two. Yang huffed, the flames dissipating from around her. Blake's eyes dimmed as she reigned in her own power. Yang pushed past Blake and stomped out of the office. Blake was quick to exit as well, levitating to the rafters. Drei snorted.

"Great job diffusing that, white mane," he complimented, before he curled back up next to Ruby.

Weiss sighed. "It's not over. They're still ready to come to blows, and Ruby's stunt isn't helping," she said in exhaustion.

"Why do they hate each other, Miss Weiss?" Star asked timidly. Weiss stared down at the Ponyta and sighed again.

"They don't hate each other," she said.

"Could've fooled me," Sky snarked. Weiss glared at him as she turned back to the recliner.

"They don't hate each other," she repeated. She sat back down and rubbed her temples. "They're…just wrapped up in their own pain to actually mend their wounds." Star looked confused.

"B-But they're not injured," the fire horse Pokémon said.

"I don't think she meant physical pain," Rex rumbled. Weiss nodded.

"Yeah. Blake and Yang have some serious emotional problems that are contributing to their tantrums."

"Them? Emotional wrecks? Don't be ridiculous!" Sky scoffed.

"Looks can be deceiving," Weiss told the Pigeot.

"Well, explain it to me," Sky demanded. Drei's ears shot up at that, making Weiss groan.

Great. Now they ALL wanted to know…

She sighed again and stared at the ceiling. "Well…to start off, Blake used to belong to the White Fang," she explained. "It was an activist group seeking equal rights for Faunus until a new leader was elected, and it turned into a terrorist group."

"Ugh…" Drei spat out, disgusted. "Getting some major Team Rocket vibes here."

Sky was interested. "I can guess she's no longer affiliated with them, right?"

"Yes. Long story short, after a while, Blake saw how far they would go, and it caused her to leave," Weiss continued. "However, she couldn't stop running. And it became her answer for things when the pressure got too much."

"And Yang?" Rex asked.

"That's easy: abandonment issues," Weiss stated. "Her mother left just after she was born, and after finding this out, she's been plagued with the question 'Why?'"

"Ah, the age ole' question," Drei commented. "I take it Blake's flight risk nature doesn't sit well with her, eh?"

"It doesn't. Yang feels like there's something wrong with her that causes people to leave her, and Blake feels like she's the cause of everyone's pain," Weiss said.

"That…" Sky commented. "Or she's a coward."

"That…might be part of the problem too."

"How do you know all this stuff about them?" Star asked, amazed at Weiss's knowledge.

"We're a team," the heiress said simply. "We learned a lot about each other, becoming something like sisters during our time at Beacon and months of isolation together at Team Rocket's hand." She scowled. "Doesn't help we're all psychic now, so our minds were pretty much open books to us before we came to control our powers."

"Understandable," Rex commented. "But now that we're sharing stories, tell me: how did Yang lose her arm?"

"Not going to tell you that," Weiss said quickly. "We can't afford to be discovered here."

"I don't like how that sounds," the Tyranitar growled.

"Which is exactly why I'm not telling you."

Ash and the others had a tough time navigating the horde of people still in the Battle Tower. However, after several minutes of shoving and tight squeezes, they eventually made it to the training arenas. "Finally!" Pikachu grumbled. "I was thinking I was gonna have ta Thunderbolt 'em all!"

"You don't like crowds?" Blaziken asked.

"I don't do enclosed and/or tight spaces in general. Why do you think I don't go inside that spherical death chamber you guys do?" the electric rodent asked.

"A Pokémon with claustrophobia, what a world we live in," Rachel's Metagross chuckled as he floated behind the group, with Rachel, Audrey, and Kathryn resting on his head.

"Trust me, I learned that the hard way!" Ash laughed. "I think I've gained a resistance to lightning attacks from all the Thunders, Thundershocks, and Thunderbolts Pikachu's hit me with those first few days!"

Pyrrha laughed. "Sounds like you and Pikachu weren't such a close nit team when you started out, Ash!" she commented.

"We weren't," both Trainer and Pokémon said simultaneously with deadpan expressions. Pyrrha laughed again and was about to say something else when familiar voices reached her ears.

"Gahhhh! How do you keep beating me?!"

"You're kind of predictable, Nora."

"Predictable?!"

"Nora, you sent Slaking out to 'beat the crap out of the tiny Axew.'"

"Tusky was running his mouth!"

"He said that after you said that!"

"He did?"

The redheaded champion's eyes widened as she whirled to see three familiar faces around a small group of Pokémon. She let out a tiny gasp as her hand flew to her face. Kathryn noticed this and grew concerned.

"Pyrrha?" she asked. She didn't answer as she started walking away from the group. Everyone then noticed and grew concerned. They followed her, though Pyrrha was heedless of this.

"I'm telling you, Jaune!" Nora protested. "Tusky-" Her words died when she looked behind Jaune, and her eyes widened.

"Nora?" Jaune and Ren were confused, unused to seeing Nora at a loss for words. She pointed behind Jaune, causing the two to turn. Jaune's eyebrows flew into his hairline as a quiet gasp left Ren's lips.

Pyrrha trembled. "J-Jaune?" she asked timidly. "Ren? Nora?"

"Pyrrha?" Jaune stared incomprehensively at the redhead before him. Ren and Nora appeared to have ceased functioning. Pyrrha took a hesitant step forward, and Nora restarted.

"PYRRRRRRHHHHAAAAAAAAA!" the orangette cried as she charged forward and tackled Pyrrha, trapping her into a tight bear hug. Pyrrha flinched at the monstrous strength of her teammate, but she quickly latched onto her with an equally tight hug.

Nora pulled back a bit and screamed, "WE THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD!" Her eyes began to water. Pyrrha's did as well.

"So did I," she whispered. This caused Nora to go back and hug her tighter.

A light tapping to her shoulder caused Nora to look back and reluctantly let go of her friend. Ren immediately took her place and placed a hand on her shoulder. Pyrrha smiled at him, but his other hand came up and flicked her forehead.

"Ow!"

"Next time, warn us, before you go off on your own," he admonished her. She nodded, and he hugged her as well. She hugged him back.

He released her and moved, letting Jaune come to stand in front of her. Pyrrha shifted from side to side as the two simply stared at each for several minutes. Finally, Pyrrha let a hesitant smile cross her face, and Jaune rushed her. He grabbed her shoulders and quickly pressed his lips against hers. She stiffened at the action initially, but she quickly eased up and brought her hands to his shoulders as well.

After several long moments, Jaune broke the kiss, leaving them both breathless. "Hi," he said, a goofy smile stretching across his face.

"Hi," she responded back, an equally goofy smile plastering across hers. Jaune brought her close and hugged her tight.

"I thought I lost you!" he mumbled into her hair. She stifled her tears and rested her head on his shoulders.

"I'm sorry!" she mumbled. He pushed her away just enough to stare into her eyes.

"Don't do that…EVER again! Got it?!" he ordered. She let out a little hiccupping laugh.

"Right!" The two stared into each other's eyes again. It only lasted a few minutes before they embraced and kissed again.

An: And that's the chapter! Hope everyone enjoyed it!

So, now JNPR is reunited, LaRousse is going nuts, Whitley's doing stuff, and RWBY is going through some stuff right now. Now we're getting into high gear. Next chapter will not be out until maybe next year, as I've neglected my God of Destruction for too long, though I blame work for most of that. Until next time!
