Prologue: The Schemers
A.N. Well, here we are. My newest Rescue Bots Academy chapter story. For this one, I thought it would be nice to explore more of Whirl's past prior to her recruitment. I've already touched on Hot Shot and Medix's pasts a little, so it's only fair that I do the same for Whirl now. I know I've already touched on her past a little bit in "Christmas With The Wreckers", but as you'll see, this will tell of a very different set of events that took place before Whirl came to Earth and met Hot Shot and the rest of the Junior Rescue Bots.
A.N.2. As it states in the summary, this story will contain some swearing later on (and not the kind you've seen in any of my prior Transformers fics), so reader discretion is strongly advised for those who might not be comfortable with swearing.
It was a dark and quiet night on the planet of Cybertron. In what appeared to be a basement in a residential area in the city of Iacon, with light provided by a lantern of some sort, three individuals of short stature clothed in brown cloaks were discussing something. One of them took out a rolled-up piece of paper and unrolled it on a table in front of them.
"Okay, I've obtained a full layout of the interior of the whole Iacon Vaults." said Number One.
"Awesome!" said Number Two.
"With a capital "A"!" agreed Number Three. "So, what's the plan?"
Number One face-palmed.
"Must I explain it again?" he groaned. "Weren't you idiots paying attention the last few times I've explained it?!"
"Hey, it's not our fault we keep forgetting!" snapped Number Two.
Number Three just nodded in agreement.
"Well, this time, how about you write it down so you won't forget?" grumbled Number One.
"Okay!" said Number Two.
Number Two then grabbed a notepad and a pencil.
"Alright, this will be the last time I explain the plan." said Number One. "So focus, alright?"
"Alright." nodded Number Two.
"Okay, as I've already said Primus knows how many times already, this is a very simple plan." said Number One. "We break into the vault, grab what we're going after, and get out. Have you got it?"
"Yep!" replied Number Two.
Number Two showed Number One the paper, which had every detail of the plan written out as a checklist.
"Excellent." Number One said.
Just then, the trio heard a door open, followed by footsteps. Number One didn't want his and his cohorts' plans to be discovered, so he quickly turned off the lantern, hid the plans under his cloak, and made his exit by climbing out a basement window. Once he was outside, Number One smiled a wicked smile as his menacingly purple optics narrowed accordingly.
"Everything is falling into place." he said out loud to himself. "Soon, I will have my revenge. And she won't even suspect a thing."
Number One chuckled evilly as he continued on his way.
