Among the prosecutors under Chief Prosecutor Edgeworth's jurisdiction, there is the common understanding that the Wright Anything Agency's lawyers are some of the strangest characters in law enforcement. Not that they have much ground to stand on in that regard what with the German rockstar prodigy two doors down from the man with a bird on his shoulder who practiced law while serving hard time for murder.
Still, even considering the strangeness of the prosecution's office, the Wright Anything Agency is a special kind of strange.
Their Named Partner, Phoenix Wright, has been the defendant in three separate murder trials. No one at the prosecutor's office knows quite how to handle him, besides Edgeworth. All they know is that he's dangerous and fascinating. The Turnabout Terror has been disbarred, whipped, burned by coffee, tazed, burned by a bridge before nearly drowning, had his stomach pumped after ingesting glass, and been punched in the face by one of his junior associates. No one is planning on underestimating him.
Speaking of his junior associates, no one at the prosecutor's office is about to underestimate the girl.
Athena Cykes might be young, but in an office full of prodigies, her age hardly even registers as unusual. What has truly earned her a spot in the minds of the people is her habit of interrupting trials with long and drawn-out therapy sessions. And of course, there's the additional factor of Simon Blackquill. From the regular spats and chaotic disagreements, the prosecutor's office is host to on a daily basis, it is easy to forget how protective they are of each other. The revelation that Ms. Cykes became a lawyer to save a prosecutor, one of their own, has earned her share of respect.
Then there is the other one, Apollo Justice. A young man with quite a silly name and a habit of screaming at random times. Sure, he is a bit odd, but against the backdrop of the WAA lawyers he seems downright normal. Some at the office have even described him as ordinary.
Of course, there is one dissenter. Klavier Gavin will happily give an extensive rebuttal to anyone who dares call his courtroom rival anything close to boring within his earshot.
Popular consensus is that Gavin simply hates losing to someone so unremarkable.
Popular consensus is about to change.
Apollo Justice is perfectly capable of proving himself.
