Greetings pups! Ight so ngl this was challenging to write for me. I love the reviews and enemywolfpack24 made a good point. So here is more Boscha and Willow lore! Also idek what the term would be for Boscha. A potionist? idek.
"Amity!" Luz squealed. The zipper suddenly being tugged down shook her. To many incidents involving her member accidentally getting caught in the zipper made her wary.
Amity wheezed seeing the shocked look on her girlfriend's face. "I'm just kidding!"
Luz blushed and fixed her pants. "vas a ser mi muerte." She muttered under her breath making Amity laugh.
Boscha groaned and absentmindedly fiddled with the jacket cuff. Potions was always boring but at least the constant stirring kept her arms fit.
She couldn't bring herself to care about whatever the professor was talking about. All she cared about now was a certain plant witch sitting a few rows ahead of her.
The plant track kids was scheduled to sit in with the potion track kids. Something about coming up with a formula to make plants more fire resistant. Boscha didn't care enough to listen to the whole explanation. All she cared about right now was how the actual hell did Willow seem to glow so early in the damn morning?
Like shit, her hair was done perfectly as if she didn't put any effort in fixing it. Her glasses were perched perfectly on her nose. And her uniform didn't have a speck of dirt on it despite being in the plant track.
Boscha cast a look down at herself and scowled at the potion spills in her shirt. She tried scratching at the stain but it still remained, taunting her.
"Alright class, please get into a group of two with a student from the plant track. This way you both can incorporate both of your magical abilities." The professor excitedly explained.
Boscha scanned the room hoping to at least get a plant kid she was familiar with but only found Willow. Willow must have been doing the same except for a potion student. They sat at their respective seats just staring at each other with unreadable expressions.
Willow broke into a polite smile and made her way over to the potion witch.
Boscha was suddenly overcome with the intense need to not look like a slob. She preened her hair, adjusted her clothes so they looked somewhat decent and even checked her breath. The potionist (?) Jumped when Willow set her books down on the table and took a seat next to her.
"Hi Boscha." Willow said. Her voice sounded like poorly hidden hesitation it made Boscha internally cringe.
Jeez do I make her that uncomfortable? Boscha asked herself. She cleared her throat so she didn't sound like a disaster gay talking to a girl for the first time.
"Hey Half- er, Hey Willow." Her voice cracked considerably, Willow either didn't notice or chose to ignore it. Boscha hung her head, just accepting her title as a useless gay.
Willow giggled softly, Boscha's grey eyes met green. The pink witch felt a sense of calm wash over her. Maybe it was okay she allowed herself to act like a fool. Maybe she wasn't second best if she acted like a normal teenager.
"Should we get started?"
Boscha was shaken out of her thoughts when Willow opened her notebook showing fancy hand writing and detailed notes.
"Sure! Yeah, let's uh do that get started I mean." The three eyed girl looked down at her side of the table and groaned quietly. "Do you have a pencil I can borrow?"
Willow flashed another perfect smile before handing over an extra pencil. Their fingers brushing briefly.
Willow focused on her notebook. When the professor told them to work in groups she never thought she would willingly work with Boscha. But ever since that faithful night she held a crying drunk Boscha she had a no outlook on the pink witch.
Of course Boscha would lash out every now and then but she was trying and that's what Willow cared most about.
The Boscha sitting next to her, the Bosha she knew before and the drunk Boscha seemed like three different people. Drunk Boscha was funny, loud and kind of adorable. Normal Boscha was mean and cold. The Boscha she was sitting next too was nervous and uncertain.
Willow wondered if it had to do with what Boscha said about her mom. The plant witch still did not know exactly what she felt towards the potions student but she didn't mind trying to decode all the different versions of Boscha.
"Hey Star Captain, can you use your famous fire magic to test this out?" Willow teased.
Boscha felt the tension leave her body and chuckled. She held out her hand, a decent sized fire ball hovering in her hand. "You mean my flameous fire magic?"
It was still for a moment before a deep blush settled on Boscha's face. What did I just say?
Willow was quiet for a second before the corners of her mouth twitched into a smile. Her shoulders shook with laughter.
"That was so bad." The plant witch wheezed. Slapping the table.
Once Boscha felt she wasn't going to be judged for that titan awful pun she snickered and puffed her chest out in a exaggerated way. "Hey, I'll have you know I have the best puns thank you."
Willow scoffed playfully and shook her head. "Let's hope you're better at school work than puns."
Boscha smiled and got to work. She didn't know what that meant for them but all she knew is that she liked it. They finished their project early and turned it in, the professor eagerly waiting for their results.
The two witches had some time before lunch so Willow took it up herself to invite Boscha to sit at their table today. Boscha, flustered by the sudden invitation wholeheartedly agreed. The bell rang and student sped out of the classroom as if it was on fire.
"Great! I'll walk with you. Just give me a minute to drop off my books." Willow said before hustling down the hallway towards her locker.
Boscha awkwardly stood there for a minute considering if it was be weird or not to follow the plant witch. Luckily she didn't have to wait long as Willow came speeding down the hallway with Gus in tow.
The illusionist eyed her with curiosity but gave her a friendly smile. "Hey Boscha! How's it going?"
"Uh great actually! Augustus right?"
The boy nodded. "Yup! The best illusionist around. I have a question."
The trio started walking to the cafeteria, the pink witch shoving her hands in her pockets. "Sure, what about?"
"Is there a way to get smoke screen potions? I get mine from the market but I don't have enough snails."
Boscha's ears perked. Maybe she can find some common ground with this kid. "I can give you some. I made a batch for extra credit but didn't turn it in. I could get you some tomorrow."
Gus beamed, his ears flapping happily. Boscha could have sworn she saw stars in the younger boy's eyes.
They made it to the cafeteria before it could get too crowded. They got their lunch and Willow guided the nervous pink witch to sit at their chosen table. Amity and Luz weren't there yet but Boscha's intuition told her they had something to do with the freshly clean students. Some of them still had wet hair.
After about ten minutes Boscha seen Amity and Luz come through the doors of the cafeteria. Luz seemed to be walking a bit bow legged while Amity seemed proud of herself.
They got their lunch as well and sat down at the table shortly after.
"Soo." Boscha started. Nervously tugging at her collar. "Is that invite still open Ami?"
