Cotton Candy Skies

Biscuit couldn't help her small sigh as she looked outward from the veranda, watching the sun rise up from the horizon. It was a new day, and yet, she didn't feel like doing anything.
Sure, she was there to find more jewels and stones, but still.
"Is everything alright, Bisky?" A familiar voice broke her train of thought, and Biscuit turned to see Cookie, standing by the door of the veranda. Rubbing the sleep out of her eyes, Biscuit yawned and she nodded to the other woman.
"Oh, it's nothing, it's just morning, you know how it is." She replied, casually, knowing that Cookie could tell what she meant.
Cookie blinked and then giggled. "Oh, absolutely, sometimes I don't know why people get up so early, and for no reason."
Biscuit shrugged. "I don't know, honestly, I just felt like getting up early, is all."
Cookie smiled softly, walking towards Biscuit, and reached out, moving to push the girl's blonde locks out of her eyes, noting a small tint of pink on her face.
"It's alright; I felt like waking up early too."
Her face still pink, Biscuit looked away for a moment, and then cleared her throat. "We-well I am a Hunter, and there are still stones and precious jewels to find. Who knows what's out there?"
"That is true, but for now, why don't we get breakfast first?"
Biscuit felt her stomach growl at that moment, and then she let out a laugh. "Oh absolutely! We should get going, time is of the essence, as they say!"
Cookie laughed, shaking her head. "Whatever you say, Bisky."
With a grin, Biscuit took Cookie's hand, and they went back into their room, to get dressed for breakfast out, and for what was ahead for them.
(A/N: To avoid any confusion, Cookie is Biscuit's Nen ability, the masseuse Magical Esthetician. This fic was written if there was a chance that Cookie was a sentient person.)
