This story is basically a self insert story with multiple people. It won't really focus on Sophie as much but it will focus on the self inserts more. My friend is also posting this on Wattpad but I don't know when. Each chapter is written by a different person and there are 4 self inserts with different names except for one of us. I will only write my chapters, and my friends will only write their chapters.
Who writes and who is who:
Audrey Ruewen—Is Blue
Rebecca (Bec) Ruewen— Is Hoomanbean12
Yuune Ruewen—Is Yuune
Margaret (Peggy) Ruewen—Is Moonpetal1 (Yes, Peggy was named after Margaret(Peggy) Carter from the MCU and also a Peggy from Hamilton even though her full name wasn't Margaret)
That isn't the age order above.
There will be one of these for each KotLC book. So like...9 of these. I am just realizing how much we will have to write and how long it will take. Well, we're in for a long ride.
Enjoy the Prologue. There is something in there that my friends were pretty sure that's what happened, but we didn't feel like looking it up so just go with us. You'll know it when you see it. Also, the actual story starts just before book 1.

Prologue
Written by Hoomanbean12
Edaline's POV
Edaline hopped out of the bed and looked down. "Crap." She groaned. Her stomach was pink. She was pregnant.
She walked downstairs and conjured a plate of mallowmelt for herself, then realized that Grady would need food, she started making some toast with icing on it.
A few minutes later, Grady walked down the stairs, still in his pajamas.
Edaline stood up.
"Something wrong?" Grady asked her, concern in his voice.
She glanced away, trying to think of the best way to tell him. "I—I'm prengant." She showed him her belly to prove to him that they had another chance to be good parents.
Grady walked closer and closer and held her cheek in his hand and smiled. "I can't wait to meet our new child."
He wrapped his arms around her embracing her. They both were hoping that things would be better with this child. The sadness of Jolie was still lingering, but it seemed to lift ever so slightly, as Edaline was held by her husband, relaxed in his arms.
Maybe things will be better.
...
"Honey? Oh, Audrey can you get your mother for me?" Edaline heard Grady ask the new Ruewen.
"Mama, Papa wants you." Audrey waved her head through the doorway to Edaline, who went to where Grady was.
Once she was in the room, Grady started talking. "The Council has asked us to watch over a child until they find willing adoptive parents. She is barely even four months old and her name is Rebecca. She doesn't want to talk about her family."
Edaline looked at Grady, then at Audrey. She thought for a moment. Audrey's eyes were big.
"I want a sister Mama!" The small, blonde girl practically begged.
"she won't be your sister, but fine." Edaline sighed in compliance. "I assume you want to take care of her since you asked."
"Wait didn't I have a sister? Jolly? Oh Jolie." Audrey quietly questioned.
Edaline frowned. The seven month old girl never got to meet her sister. She imagines they would have been close.
Edaline looked at Grady and he looked down.
"Yeah, and I want to help her. I can't imagine being given up by your parents." He said, now looking at Edaline.
She nodded.
...
They stood outside as Lord Friff carried a baby in his arms. "Mr. and Mrs. Ruewen?"
They nodded and he walked closer.
"Thank you for offering to take care of Rebecca." He handed Edaline the child and she looked into her eyes. She had heterochromia, one eye a powder blue and another one one a space blue, both had speckles of the other in them. Her hair was a dark brown. Freckles dotted her cheeks and nose, her smile was shining brightly.
"Are you my Mama now?" The girl asked.
Edaline smiled. "We'll see. Want to meet my daughter?"
Rebecca nodded, clearly excited to meet her sister, even if it was for a short time.
Edaline took Rebecca inside and introduced her to Audrey. The two of them sat and talked for hours, and Edaline observed Audrey. Her eyes were the same blue as Edaline's and her short blonde hair slightly bounced when she talked.
After five hours of talking, Rebecca practically passed out from talking so long, so Edaline and Grady took Audrey to their rooms and tucked them into bed. Audrey had the room on the third floor while Rebecca would sleep in Grady and Edaline's room for the time being.
After that, Grady and Edaline sat down at the dining room table together.
"She's adorable. Can we keep her?" Edaline asked Grady, who stared at her blankly.
"Rebecca, can we adopt her?" Edaline looked at him sweetly.
"Yeah."
"Please she's so close to Audrey—wait, you said yes." Edaline realized and felt a smile crawl onto her face.
"Let's do it in the morning."
While Grady and Edaline talked, Rebecca had snuck into Audrey's room so they could talk even if both of them couldn't really walk.
"So Rebecca... hmmmmm... do you want a nickname?" Audrey asked the younger girl.
She nodded.
Audrey thought about it for a second. "How about Bec? Or Bex?"
"I like Bec." Rebecca decided.
Edaline suddenly walked into the room.
"Mama...? Or sorry, Edaline." Bec said.
Edaline smiled. "No, I'm your mama now."
...
"Mom! Bec wants to see Verdi!" Audrey yelled at Edaline through the door.
Edaline walked outside to see the blonde eight year old girl staring at her.
"No, but if Dad says that it's okay, then I'll come with you." Edaline told her daughter. The last time Bec went to visit an animal, she ended up in its enclosure.
The two of us walked through the pastures to visit the T. Rex who had just recently become a resident.
Audrey skipped along the path to go see her dad.
Edaline turned her head. Someone was crying. "Audrey, dear, go find your father, okay?" She ordered Audrey, then left to find the source of the sound.
"M-Mom... Dad..." A small girl with blonde hair that looked as old as her daughters said through the shed. The girl had heterochromatic eyes like Bec did, and freckles also dotted her tear stained cheeks. "Mom... dad, they're gone. Please don't hurt me." The girl begged as Edaline entered the shed.
Edaline offered the girl her hand. "I won't hurt you. Come here."
The girl obediently walked forwards and looked at Edaline wearily.
Edaline's heart broke at the look of pain in the girl's expression.
Grady appeared behind them and the sudden appearance of the stranger made the girl flinch.
"Who's this? What's wrong?" He asked, noticing the girl's tears.
Edaline looked at him sadly. "Her parents died. She hasn't said why or how but she's probably in shock."
The girl ran up to Edaline and hugged her. "Help I grabbed the crystal and ran. She was..." She interrupted herself with sobs.
"What's your name?"
"Y-Yuune ma'am." She whispered.
Edaline hugged Yuune tighter, wishing she knew what happened. She looked at Grady and nodded.
I guess we're having another one.
...
Walking down the hall, Edaline stopped and admired the family portrait. Of course Grady and Edaline were first, next there was the oldest daughter, Audrey, then Bec, and lastly Yuune.
Yuune had gotten a lot less shy and her hair was a slighter darker blonde at the roots.
Looking at Yuune next to Bec, she realized that they had similar eyes, and not in the 'every elf has blue eyes' way.
Edaline heard a knock on the door and went to investigate.
"Edaline, a pleasure to see you." Tiergan stood in the doorway holding a little girl with ginger hair's hand. "Her parents, Steve and Laura died as you know, will you take care of her? Maybe even adopt her?"
The girl looked from Tiergan to Edaline quickly. "So... she's my mom now? Do I have siblings?" She asked curiously. "Oh! My name is Margaret but call me Peggy." She informed Edaline.
The woman turned and called for Grady. He came downstairs with Yuune using him as a ladder.
"Another one?" He asked, already knowing what was happening.
Edaline nodded.
"No more?"
"No more." She confirmed and welcomed Peggy into their home.
That is the prologue, it is long. The Tiergan taking Peggy to the Ruewen household was not random, but the why will be hinted at a bit and solved a lot later on.
Please leave a review because me and my friends were really nervous when we started writing this. If you review I'll tell you how me and my friends came up with this!
The next chapter will be posted next Saturday and I will be writing that so there is a chance that it will update early if I get excited.
