(part 2)

Ady was frozen... By The Doctor. She did not struggle. She went limpid. She soon slept.

Everything went all blurry-faced around her. The Doctor. The park... The world.

"This is an alien? Oh my, Doctor. But where... is 'She' from?"

asked a quite curious Rose, back on the TARDIS.

Luckily, for Rose, The Doctor was able to freeze Ady in her human guise

that she last had attempted to interest a possible new 'mate' as.

Dark skin, long dark auburn hair... Voluptuous body. Oh, yes!

If the good Doctor had been the average, human male...

It likely would have worked. But not on Him. No way, Jose.

The Doctor soon gave this reply:

"Rose... this female is from a watery planet, far out in the Gamma Hydroxiya system.

My people had met their kind, many eons ago. They had tried the same stunts then.

I almost feel sorry for Her. It is in her make-up, to find a mate. But, as in certain

varieties of earth spiders... The mates often die... Young. Not a nice way to go?"

Rose: "Oh, my Doctor. Are we... Safe? She cannot harm us... I hope?"

The Doctor: "Oh, no... She is sleeping now. But what to do... What, to do?"
