A couple of days later, Quinn was out in the ocean swimming.
"This is so amazing," thought Quinn as she swam next to a coral reef where a ton of fish were.
"What's that?" she thought as a shadow crossed over her. When she looked up, Quinn noticed that the source of the shadow was from a boat. She then swam up to the surface while making sure to hide behind a rock so she could get a better look at it.
"Oh great, it's Danny's boat," she said while noticing Jase's brother and a few other kids on board.
"Danny don't!" came Jase's voice from the boat. The next thing Quinn knew was that she heard the sound of something hitting the water.
"I can't believe you would drop your laptop into the ocean like that, nerd," said Danny in the fakest tone of voice as Jase looked over the side of the boat with complete terror in his expression.
"You had better go get it!" he said before picking up Jase and throwing him over the side too.
"See ya loser!" said Danny before the boat sped off, leaving Jase treading water while everyone else laughed.
"I… I can't swim," said Jase before going under. It was at this time that Quinn swam over and grabbed him. A few hours later on the shore, Jase finally woke up.
"What… what happened?!" he asked while sitting up and quickly looking around at his surroundings.
"How did I get here?" asked Jase, confusion wrote all over his face.
"I'd like to know that too," said Quinn while approaching him.
"Quinn where are we?" asked Jase.
"My family's private beach, I found you washed up here a couple of hours ago and had one of the guards check you out and he said you were fine, so I've been waiting here for you to wake up," said Quinn.
"Oh, and your laptop was out in the water but luckily not damaged," she said while handing it over.
"Wow, talk about a miracle," said Jase. Meanwhile, out at sea.
"Come on!" said Danny while trying to turn his boat on but was unaware that some kelp had been neatly tied around the propeller.
