Happy Valentine's Day! I was hoping to get another chapter up for today, and I hope you're all having a good one, whether you're alone or with your significant other.
Me, it's another year alone, but I'm happy!

Anyway, last place we left off, Donatello saved a woman from the Purple Dragons, and she's revealed she's no ordinary woman.

Chapter Three

The purple masked turtle couldn't believe his eyes at what he had seen.

Sure, he had seen a lot in his life as a mutant turtle, but never anything like this! Certainly not…magic.

"You're…you're a…a.." he stammered.

"A witch yes." the woman smiled.

Donatello gulped.

"Don't panic." The woman chuckled "I'm not a wicked one, in fact, magic should never be used for evil purposes, trust me, I know, especially when I first learnt it, but anyway, that's not important, I can use my powers to grant you one wish."

Donatello chewed his lip.

"A wish…" he mused.

The witch nodded.

"I believe you have a certain desire for something, or should I say, someone?" she asked.

Donatello thought hard, then he thought of April, and how maybe, if the woman was really a witch, she could put a love spell on April so she would fall in love with him.

"Okay…" he said, "I got it!" puffing up his chest and closing his eyes he spoke.

"I wish April O'Neil; the girl of my dreams would fall in love with me."

He opened his eyes and the witch looked saddened, as well as a little sympathetic.

"Oh Donatello." She said gently "Maybe that was something else I should have mentioned, I can't make people fall in love, well, I sort of can, but that can go very badly wrong."

Donatello felt his heart sink in disappointment.

"You mean there's a limitation to your powers?" he asked.

"Not limitation." The witch replied, "Just strict rules, I have performed love spells in the past, but they never worked out the fairy-tale ending way, some have turned obsessive, and sometimes tragic."

Donatello opened his mouth then closed it again like a fish.

"Laws in Witchcraft are to be taken seriously, using magic for selfish personal gain is forbidden, using magic to bring harm to others is also outlawed, and using magic to force others against their will, or manipulate their feelings is also taboo."

"I see…" Donatello answered as he began to think about what the witch explained.

"This girl of your dreams, I am to assume she is not a mutant like you?" the witch asked.

Donatello shook his head.

"No…" he mumbled "She's a human, and she's at her prom tonight." He sighed "She looked so beautiful in her dress, she looked belle of the ball, I would have given anything to have been her date, or at least dance close to her, even if it was for just tonight."

It was then the mutant turtle looked up and his eyes shone as he knew what his wish was.

"That's it!" he grinned "I wish I could go to the prom, and dance with the girl of my dreams!"

The witch smiled as she looked at the happy turtle.

"Perfect!" she said, "That's the answer!"

She looked at Donatello.

"I will you grant you your wish, but it's only for tonight,"

"I understand." Donatello agreed as hope rose in his belly.

The witch nodded.

"Think of it as a Cinderella deal," she informed "You have until midnight, then the spell will break, and all will be as it was before. Good luck, Turtle Hero."

She then reached into her handbag and pulled out a small fabric bag, she poured some of its contents which from what Donatello saw looked to be a mix of herbs and dried rose petals.

Once she did that, the witch then kissed her hand and blew Donatello a kiss, making the herbs and flowers fly at him, and no sooner did that happen than Donatello felt a warm feeling sweep over him.

He felt dizzy for what seemed like a few minutes, then as he felt it fade, he wondered what happened, and he lifted his hands only to discovered they were pink human flesh hands!

"What the…?" Donatello yelled as he analysed his hands and touched his face, and as he did, he felt hair on his head rather than his purple mask and bald leather head.

He looked at the witch who seemed pleased with her work and she pulled out a small mirror from her handbag and held it up before Donatello.

It was then Donatello shouted in surprise at what was looking back at him!

There in the mirror was a teenaged boy, with dark brown hair and eyebrows and he wore a black tuxedo with a lavender coloured shirt, a purple bow tie, and a matching purple flower in his lapel.

"You turned me human!" he cried "I'm a human boy!"

"Yes, you are!" the witch smiled "You are a human boy, and you shall go to the ball and dance with the girl of your dreams!"

Donatello grinned then to the witch's surprise he pulled her into a hug.

"Thank you so much!" he wept with happiness "Thank you! Thank you!"

The witch coughed a little then Donatello let her go.

"It's my pleasure turtle." She said, "But don't forget, you must leave before midnight, as the spell will wear off then."

"I'll remember." Donatello promised "I know this was just for tonight, but it's a dream come true this…I'll forever be grateful."

"Bless you dear Donatello." The witch smiled "Now hurry along and dance your heart out with the girl of your dreams!"

Donatello nodded fervently and started to run towards the end of the alleyway, as he exited to go into the street, he turned to shout goodbye to the witch, only to see the alleyway was empty.

Donatello felt a twinge of surprise, as it had only been a couple of seconds, and she had vanished, and the alleyway was empty as if it had always been.

Shaking the feeling away Donatello walked down the street hoping to hail a cab, he felt his trouser pockets and he soon found a small card as well as a few dollar bills in a silver clasp!

Looking at the card, he saw it was a ticket to the prom!

"Wow!" he thought to himself, "The witch did think of everything!"

He passed a building where he saw a shop had been closed for the night, yet he caught sight of his reflection and he couldn't help but stop and admire his human look.

"Wow!" he thought as he checked himself out "I have to say I do look handsome as a human! Not just as a turtle!"

He grinned again at his reflection then saw a yellow cab coming his way, so he quickly waved his hand to flag it down which it stopped, and he jumped into the back.

"Where to kid?" the driver asked.

Donatello looked at the ticket in his hand and gave the driver the address and the driver instantly began to drive to the Prom's destination.

Luckily it wasn't far, and they reached the Hotel where the prom was taking place.

It was the New York Hilton, and Donatello could see the students all dressed in their finest clothes entering and exiting the building.

Thanking the driver and paying him the money he owed him, the now human turtle got out of the cab and walked up to the entrance where a couple of bouncers were standing, obviously to keep gate crashers out.

He felt nervous, yet he kept reminding himself he was a human, and not a mutant and he blended in with the other students.

Yet as he approached the doors, some students standing outside saw him and looked puzzled.

"Who's he?"

"No idea!"
"he doesn't go to our school."

"I've never seen him before!"

Donatello's ninja ears picked up the many questions the students asked, and he felt anxious, yet he felt relieved when the bouncers checked his invitation then let him in.

Upon entering the lobby, Donatello looked around and drank in the posh surroundings then he entered the large ballroom where he saw the large chandeliers dangling above with glittered along with a large disco ball.

One the large stage was a DJ and his equipment playing all the latest tunes, and many tables lined the sides of the wall serving food and drinks.

"This is incredible!" he thought "All the years I've watched movies with these kinds of parties, and here I am in the middle of one!"

He took a deep breath and decided to look for April, yet he knew it wouldn't be an easy task as there were so many party goers and he didn't have a clue where to look first.

So Donatello made his wish! And the witch has granted it to him! Yet he only has until midnight (Just like Cinderella!)
He's now arrived at the prom at the New York Hilton Hotel, and now he has to find April.

What will happen when he does find her? Well, tune into the next chapter to find out!
