On the second day, Klee's fever breaks. Or so Klee thinks, since she doesn't feel stuffy and hot anymore.
Well, she is a bit warm, but that's only because she's sleeping on Albedo's lap. Unlike other people, Albedo can get and stay very warm and very cold for long periods of time, like a rock! Klee finds that very cool, but she hasn't told anyone. That is because her big brother is different from everyone else, and it is a secret that only he, Klee and mama know.
As Klee tries to wriggle out of his lap, Albedo starts to shift. Aw, she must have woken him up.
"Klee?" comes Albedo's raspy voice and he looks down at her. He looks all scared and that must be because Klee was very sick yesterday.
Seeing him like this makes Klee sad, so she gives him a bright smile. "It's ok big brother!" she says as she tries to pat his back, but only reaches his side. "Klee's feeling fine now!"
Albedo stutters a response before he exhales and hugs her back. "That's great," he breathlessly says, and he must have been very scared because he hugs her tightly and he only does that when he's anxious, or when Klee plays with Dodoco in a way that breaks Master Jean's rules.
"Now that you're feeling better," Albedo says after a few moments, "how about we spend the next couple of days off? Maybe have a picnic as well?"
He still looks sad, but that must be because he's a big worrywart. So Klee gives him another big smile and cheers.
