Kirito could hear everyone either moaning or gasping for air, everyone had worn themselves out from walking and it hadn't even been far.
There were buildings everywhere and even if they were broken they still did what the Players needed them to do, keep them safe from the weather and hid them from anyone or anything.
The pain of having to move so much was passing and if Kirito had to be honest he felt as if he could move that much again and not get tired.
All of this felt wrong, the smells of the world around him were too strong, he could sell the plants and concrete and he was glad that he could see when he opened his eyes.
It was as if he hadn't ever used his body before and all of his senses were out of control, every time he moved he seemed to regain more and more control until his body- sense and brain all aline with each other.
Kirito turned towards the guild leaders and he could see how exhausted they were, it was easy for him to see that waking up for them had been just as bad as it was for him.
He could see the guild leaders struggling to talk to each other ad as he waited to hear what they had to say he decided to sit down and get some rest.
It wasn't that he was tired, no he wasn't tired anymore but he needed time to process everything.
Just as he was sitting down Kirito heard a voice come out of his help screen again.
"Hello this is Battle Hammer, from Texas, it's unknown if we're here right now"
"To any other survivors I offer our experiences with the clause that you do the same, that means everything you experienced will be given to us and everything we experienced will be given to you'
"If what we have seen is true then there should be a recording of everything any of you experienced in your help screens" Kirito heard the man's message it was easy for him to hear the man struggling to breathe.
It was stupid of him to offer something like that, but if Kirito had to give everything he had seen and done to get the same from someone else then neither side lost anything.
Kirito looked at his help screen and it was now showing the exchange option, if he pressed it he would not only give his information but the combat styles and knowledge about what skills and abilities the players around him had.
He hesitated for a moment and then he pressed okay, immediately after a video option appeared in front of him that had thousands of other videos in it.
"For all of you who haven't accepted or chosen not to accept the man's offer, do it."
" If just one of us accepted it then there's no point in hiding anything, most if not everything we that we know is common knowledge amongst each other, and any information that we hid about the game is useless here," Heathcliff said to everyone.
Kirito listened to Heathcliff and noticed that his breathing was calmer, it was as if he was getting used to talking.
"Everyone, I know it's hard but we need to get our bodies working again, so just try to move as much as you can" Kirito heard Asuna say to everyone.
He wanted to call out to her but when he tried to do it his voice failed him, so he had no choice but to start trying to talk again, he was able to do it again, but only after a couple of failures.
When he was able to talk again and manage to hold a conversation with himself he decide it was better to listen to what Asuna had said and move as much as he could.
Kirito began to move at first he tried walking, then he waved his hands up and down, then he drew his sword and realized that he couldn't handle the weight and so he had to get used to it again.
All around him people were doing the same until he fell exhausted and when he did he realized that it was raining outside, he had become so focused on trying to gain some control over himself that he had lost track of everything around him.
Kirito didn't know why but he walked outside and let the rain fall on him, the water felt strange, it was familiar but completely alien at the same time.
The sound of an explosion caught his attention, but Kirito wasn't sure if it had been an explosion or really loud thunder so he didn't bother moving.
Again his help screen beeped, but this time the only thing it showed was a message.
African settlement was destroyed.
No survivors all information has been lost due to not accepting information exchange, and no one will ever know who they were or what they have been through.
Perhaps this is for the best, perhaps not, no one will ever know.
"How many settlements were there?" Kirito said to his help screen but he didn't expect an answer
'To secure partial genetic variety, different areas of the world were chosen"
"Example Texas was chosen for having different races of people, and because several areas are certain death they were ignored, while others were simply not needed." His help screen answered him
"What do you mean not needed and you haven't answered my question," Kirito said to it.
"Context was needed for this following part..."
Kirito watched the same kind of text that had appeared in front of him before, appear on his help screen.
"Don't try to put your Human understanding on what I do, be glad that I helped all of you"
"If they died it was because they didn't want to live, the areas you appeared in were equally as safe"
"All they had the cultures of their homelands so something of their old world would remain, now as to how many areas have Humans living on them.
"Four, but considering two of them have been destroyed only two areas remain, this is not your fault nor is it mine, those people just didn't want to live"
"I left some pre-recordings for all of you, so no I'm no longer with you Humans, good luck"
"This is your life live it as you want, stay with your group or leave and explore the world on your own, you have nothing restraining you anymore, so live" the message ended
Kirito felt a warm hand hold him and he found that Asuna was standing next to him looking at the cloud-covered sky, even as she got wet from the rain.
