"9s were never going to make any progress if you keep pinning me against things whenever you hear machines coming." Kirito said to 9s, as 9s loosened his grip.

After leaving the resistance village or camp he decided that it was better if he started looking through the buildings for anything that wasn't ruined and by that he meant that could still be used.

9s was a lot of help considering that he knew about a lot of the things they had run into, unfortunately, everything they found was either too worn out because time and the elements had ruined them, or they had been destroyed by something.

They did find a lot of old books, some were so brittle that they broke apart the moment he touched them while others were still readable.

He tried to put one in his inventory and he was happy to see that his inventory still worked, and he immediately sent Asuna a message to see if she could take the book out of their shared inventory.

His plan was simple, fill the inventory with everything he and 9s found and have Asuna take it out over at the camp, if she couldn't do that find something that can help him carry more things and take it along with everything in his inventory to the camp.

"I'm sorry sir but, it's my duty as a Yorha android to keep you safe and well I'm not doing a good job at it considering I allowed you to be out here," 9s answered him after letting him go.

Kirito could hear the machines as 9s called them either making sounds that sounded similar to buzzing or making clanking sounds when they passed by.

At first, he thought that the machines were patrolling the area, but as time passed he realized that they were just walking around, but it wasn't random but it wanst exactly organized either.

"Look, I chose to come out here, it's better than just standing around doing nothing"

"Besides, you think I didn't notice how worried Asuna looked when she was talking to me back then." Kirito said to 9s, he knew that the kid didn't know about Asuna's conversation with him, but he could still talk about it.

In space in the Yorha Bunker Operator, 210 was looking at her screen, she knew that the identification code for this 9s model had gone offline after 9s had died so how had she received a message from it.

At first, she thought that maybe she had missed one of his earlier reports but after looking at the date it had been sent to her, she knew that it was recent.

So she followed protocol and opened the video 9s had sent her, after all his message could have been delayed somehow and was just getting to her, and then her mind stopped working.

"Comabder"

"Commander!" 210 called to her superior as she read the files on Asuna's health that 9s had sent to her.

"What is it?" the Commander said to her as 210 got out of the way so that the commander could see her screen.

210 saw the commander's cold expression turn to shock as the images of children playing appeared on screen.

"Locate find that unite we need to get to them before the machines find them." the commander ordered 210, before becoming quiet and deciding to show everyone in the room what both she and 210 had seen.

The room was usually silent and the only things that could be heard were the operators typing or speaking to those they were assigned to.

As the video played on the for everyone to see not a single operator moved or spoke, some stood up while others just looked at the video with wide eyes.

The videos were followed by one of the humans' information.

"Find them" the commander ordered everyone and for the first time the entire room was filled with the excited voices of all of the operators contacting the Androids on Earth.

The commander had to think about her next move, this was something no one had expected, there shouldn't have been any Humans on Earth.

At first, she thought that the things she had seen on screen were Replicants that must have been made by a factory that somehow still had some power in it, but the woman's medical files that followed the video were clear.

She was Human and while there was maso\mana in her system, it wasn't anywhere near a dangerous amount.

"Commander, I'm not able to pindown 9s's location because he's not completely connected to the Bunker's systems, but it looks like we can still receive messages from him." Operator 210 said to her, as a message from 9s appeared on the main monitor.

She immediately ordered Operater 210 to open one of the files and the entire room fell silent again, a sound that hadn't been heard in years had suddenly returned to the world.

A lot of things from Humanities past had been lost, either due to time or because of all of the fighting, unfortunately, music had been one of the casualties.

The song's name was A thousand years, and as the song played the Commander herself couldn't help but allow herself to smile, if only slightly.

Once again the bridge had become quiet as some of the operators began to cry, though they didn't know why they were crying the commander did, this was the reason they had fought for so long.

They had fought to return the Earth to the Humans and there was now a small colony on earth, even if Operator 210 had chosen the song out of pure coincidence it was now being heard by every Yorha android.

The moment the song ended all of the Operators informed the units they were assigned to, that there was a human colony on the planet and that they needed to be find it before anything happened to them.
