One of the doors led to her parents room where there was a make-shift barricade with furniture. Tears were rolling down her cheeks as she slowly approached the other side to see if anyone was hiding there. Tuntun choked out a shaky gasp at the sight of Sammy, Blake, and Cypress's clothes in the corner. Cypress was there, protecting her little sister and brother.
"Oh Gods." she cried, falling to her knees, picking up Cypress's green jacket and hugging it to her chest.
Another tremor knocked her over into the clothes and she clenched her fist in anger as tears flowed down her cheeks. "Cypress.." she sobbed. "I'm so sorry. I should have been with you."
Her vision was blurry when she hugged Blake's dress close. "They were just babies..." Tuntun sobbed harder, feeling that dormant anger surfacing again. That anger she never wanted to feel again since her childhood.
"That monster..." the teen raged, on her hands and knees, tears falling to the ground. "I'm going to rip its fucking SPINE OUT!"
The ground started rumbling underneath her, the same thing that happened when she was nine years old. It was like gravity was shifting around her, a force pushing everything away and up all around her. Still clutching Cypress's jacket, she got to her feet to find the creature and either try to kill it or die trying because she had nothing left to lose.
Just outside her door, it looked like hurricane strength wind was throwing around cars, trees, and smaller debris smacking into the teenager as Tuntun stood her ground with all her strength. She held up an arm to shield her face against the wind to see there weren't any clouds above. Nothing made sense at this point, all she wanted was that monster's head.
Another quake hit before a bright flash filled up the sky, a bright dome of light growing bigger and bigger. Tuntun hung on to a nearby tree still in the ground, her eyes squeezed shut from the bright light. It rolled closer and closer to her tearing up everything in sight, it happened so fast and then it was over. Nothing was left.
-
Tuntun slowly came to with a painful groan. Her entire body hurt, she had a splitting headache but she was alive. Her eyes shot open and she sat up quickly only to immediately regret it when the dark room started to spin and she vomited onto the floor without warning. The teen rolled off the bed and landed on the floor beside the puddle with a grunt, dizzy and disoriented.
She looked down at herself to see she was all in one piece, the same couldn't be said for her clothes that were ripped to hell. She was practically half naked, bloody, bruised, and exposed, including her tail. But that was the least of her worries. Where was she? What the actual fuck just went down? What is she going to do now without Cypress? Her family? The questions just kept on coming and she was numb, she couldn't process that she had lost everyone she loved.
As if she were on autopilot, she got to her feet, her knees close to buckling but she pushed through it. She opened the door as silently as possible to check out her surroundings and heard some voices downstairs. Two women and possibly a kid?
"No, Gohan, just leave her be." one of the women stated firmly.
"But mom-" the younger voice whined. Yep, definitely a kid.
"Shh-I think she's awake." the other woman hushed and everything fell silent.
Busted. Tuntun didn't want to go down the stairs but she wanted answers. Maybe they knew what happened? Wincing with each step, she stopped at the base of the stairs and peeked around the corner with worry.
"Oh, you are awake." a blue haired woman smiled, setting down the cup in her hand onto the counter. "How're you feeling?"
The teenager didn't answer, feeling put on the spot when the black haired woman and child were looking at her as well. The sudden rush of emotions hit her like a tidal wave and the blue haired woman was the first to approach her. "Oh sweetheart, come here." she stated compassionately, gesturing for the teen to give her a hug.
The woman acted like she had known the teenager forever, hugging her without hesitation but it was comforting.
"Here, why don't you sit and I'll get you some water. Are you hungry?" she smiled, pulling out a seat for the teen.
"Hi, I'm Gohan!" the young boy next to her smiled. "What's your name?"
"Um-" Tuntun cleared her dry throat. "It's um- Tuntun." she replied softly.
"I'm Bulma." the blue haired woman added, handing Tuntun a glass of water.
"I'm ChiChi, Gohan's mom." chimed in the other woman.
"Thank you." Tuntun mumbled and downed the water in record time. "I uh, I'm sorry for getting sick on your floor." she said timidly with embarrassment.
"Oh that's okay, hun, I'll clean it up." ChiChi waved her off.
"No I can do it, I don't want to be a bother."
"Trust me, I've cleaned up worse." the black haired woman laughed. "Being married to a Saiyan, and having a half-Saiyan for a son."
"Half-Saiyan?" Tuntun gasped, looking over at the beaming child next to her.
"I never thought we'd meet another one." said Bulma casually, gesturing toward Tuntun. "How long have you been on Earth?"
