All eyes were on her as she approached the group and suddenly her previous delicious meal was making its way back up. Swallowing hard, she stood next to Bulma and nodded her head in their general direction.
"Good to see you up and about, kid. That was one nasty hit." the shortest of the group piped up. He was surprisingly shorter than she was, bald, and had six dots on his forehead. "Piccolo leveled the city trying to fight Cell."
"Yeah, I remember." she replied awkwardly, glancing up at Piccolo whose scowling stare was burrowing a hole into her.
"Before we get into things, Tuntun, I want you to meet Krillin, Tien, Asta, Chiaotzu, Yamcha, and you obviously met Piccolo." Bulma stated, taking charge of the conversation while pointing at each person she named. "Everyone, this is Tuntun."
"Why weren't we aware of you before now?" Piccolo demanded. "Usually when a Saiyan shows up, there's trouble in their wake."
"I'm just a kid trying to live a normal life, why is that so hard to believe with you people?!" the teen argued.
"We don't like being kept in the dark about potential threats." the giant stated harshly. "There are only two full blooded Saiyans left that we know of so you can understand our demand to know where you came from."
Tuntun was cornered, she had to give them something. "My parents-" she mumbled angrily, looking at her feet. "My real parents died a long time ago. My father was a Saiyan, I don't know what my mother was, she never told me. So really, it doesn't matter now does it?"
He grunted in disapproval. "I'll let that go, for now. I also want to know about her." he pointed at the albatross perched in the sand.
"The bird?" Tuntun clarified in confusion.
"That isn't a bird."
It was Piccolo's turn to get an odd stare from the group as he stared down the animal. "Show yourself." he snapped.
The bird bobbed its head as if it was laughing at him only making him angrier. Asta snorted with amusement as she covered her mouth to hide her smile.
"I don't have time for your games!" he raged, a ball of energy forming in his fist.
It flapped its large wings a few times, lifting off the sand and hovering in the air next to Tuntun.
Everyone's amusement disappeared when the albatross started to glow and form into a human shape only she had the appearance of a sphynx cat with purple skin and wearing human clothes.
"Oh I like you." the cat looking woman chuckled. "Can't put anything passed you, can I?"
"Cleo?" Tuntun breathed. "You can't be.."
"I can be many things." she corrected. "Let me put on a more familiar face, shall I?"
The small teen's shock turned to anger when the woman formed into not only her best friend Dizi.
"Okay, what is going on here?" ChiChi snapped, holding Gohan close.
The now teenage looking shapeshifter bowed her head slightly, putting a hand to her chest. "I am Tally, the Goddess of Mischief and Chaos." she introduced herself. "Little Tuntun here is under my care as a promise to her mother."
"You're a GODDESS?!" Tuntun raged, getting in Tally/Dizi's face.
"You pretend to be my friend, you put me under some sleeping spell before the attack and then steal my phone?!" she cried angrily. "Why didn't you protect Cypress?! My family?! If nothing else, I could have helped them!"
"Wait, Cypress?!" Asta interrupted urgently. "White hair and white eyes?! Pointy ears?!" she added, her heart in her throat.
Tuntun couldn't stop herself from tearing up again, how did she miss it? Asta must be his mother. "Yes." she cried. "He's my boyfriend. He was trying to protect my little brother and sister when that thing attacked. I'm so sorry."
"Oh Gods!" Asta cried out before being pulled into Tien's arms.
"Tun-" Tally worried, putting a hand on her shoulder only to have her pull away in anger. "I had to protect you. You aren't strong enough to beat Cell, you would have died too." she reasoned.
"I don't care! It should have been me, not Cypress!" the teen snapped. "I never asked for your help!"
"THAT'S ENOUGH!" Piccolo roared, everything falling silent except for Asta's pained sobs into Tien's chest. "We're running out of time. We need to go after Cell before he finds one of the androids."
"Gohan, your father is at the Lookout, he wants you there." he ordered. "You two will train in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber."
"Cool!" Gohan whooped but froze sheepishly at the look his mother was giving him.
"Hey Tun, can you fight?" Krillin asked, fired up for the fight.
"No but I'll learn if it means taking down that bastard." said the teen with fire in her eyes.
"No, you stay here with the women. It'll just be a waste of time." Piccolo waved her off.
"You owe me." Tuntun growled but regretted what came out of her mouth at the look he gave her.
