Chapter 1: Rescued by a Stranger
1904, World of the Millennium Earl…
Allen Walker, Former Exorcist of the Black Order, held his Sword of Exorcism in his right hand as his partner, Lavi, stood beside him.
They were facing not only Road Kamelot, but the entirety of the Noah and the Millennium Earl himself.
"Damn…" Allen gasped as he felt anger at himself for being caught as he tried to save Lavi from the Noah's grasp. He could feel Nea Campbell clawing at the back of his mind, causing Allen's skin to start becoming tan from the Noah within him.
"Come out, Nea." The Earl stated as he held out his own sword. "This time, I won't be so lenient on you."
"ALLEN!" Lavi shouted as he jumped before Allen, the Earl's sword cutting into his stomach, slamming both males into eachother.
"NO!" Allen shouted, swinging his sword with his entire strength in his body.
The moment the two swords collided, black sparks shot out as time and space started to warp around the two exorcists and the Earl.
"What is going on?" The Earl asked in confusion before he jumped away as a warp in the air appeared.
"WHAT'S GOING…" Allen shouted as he held Lavi, his Sword of Exorcism held in his mouth so he could hold Lavi safely as they were pulled into the portal, vanishing.
"NO, NEA!" the Earl shouted in anguish.
Jojo Verse, 2011, Cape Canaveral, Florida…
"I don't need the New Moon…" Enrico Pucci stated as he held a metal frame, his evolved Stand, C-Moon, adjusting the gravity to make him start to float into the air to make up for the lack of the New Moon Dio spoke about in his diary. "I discovered… if I reach a certain location… C-Moon can evolve further!"
"DAMN IT!" Jolyne Cujoh shouted as she stood back-to-back with her father, Jotaro Kujo, and her fellow prison convicts, Hermes Costello, Narciso Annasui, Emporio Alnino.
"HERMES, FIRE THE GUN!" Jotaro shouted as he had Star Platinum pick up a make-shift spear.
Hermes fired the entire clip of the gun she grabbed.
Pucci went to deflect the bullets with C-Moon.
"STAR PLATINUM: THE WORLD!" Jotaro shouted, his stand stopping time. "Now, you can deflect those bullets, but…" Star Platinum hurled the spear at Pucci, it stopping just before the Priest's shoulder/neck area. "You can't see this."
As time returned, C-Moon deflected the bullets with ease, but Pucci was open to attack, the spear grazing his neck.
From the force of the spear, Pucci was flung from his make-shift railing, falling down toward the ground.
"I-I can sense it… the location needed to gain Heaven." Pucci declared with laser focus, ignoring his pain.
Pucci hit one of the assembled aircraft and grabbed onto it.
"GO TO HELL, PUCCI!" Annasui shouted as he and his stand, Diver Down, appeared, attacking Pucci's spine.
"HE DID IT!" Emporio shouted.
"WHAT IS THIS!" Annasui screamed as his arm blew open.
Within his arm, was a stand.
It took the appearance of a small, thin, masculine humanoid fused at its waist to the front end of a horse. A large cable, forming a clean arch, joins the humanoid half between its shoulder blades to the truncated posterior of the horse.
The horse wears blinders and reins, held in the hands of the humanoid half, which wears a collar of long feathers. It wears a crown of thorny vines around its head, which was slightly elongated, with a smooth, black surface; embedded with a large clock face in the region of its eyes and nose, with its mouth on its jaw as a piece with the majority of its light or white body.
It has large speedometers also embedded in its body at the side of the joint of the horse's legs and the horse's forehead, with smaller ones on side of the humanoid's shoulders, its forearms, and the back of its hands, and on the horse's blinders.
"It is no longer C-Moon." Pucci declared as he turned to face Annasui, no longer phased by the convict's attack. "The Time for Heaven, is now upon us…"
He looked up, light spewing from the creation of the Stand.
"I can feel it. The complete power of Gravity…" Pucci stated as the light grew brighter as it was fully revealed. "I can feel it flowing through me…"
A black portal sparked to life dozens of meters above the Priest.
"GO TO HELL!" Annasui shouted as he attempted to attack Pucci with Diver Down's fists.
Pucci instinctively activated his stand's ability to speed time forward to dodge Annasui's attack… only for his blood to shoot around and coat Annasui in it as a massive broad blade with a cross on it cut into Pucci, diagonally bifurcating the priest.
"B-but how…" Pucci gasped as his body pieces hit the ground as his new stand started to vanish. "I was… DIO… I WAS ABOUT TO ACHIEVE HEAVEN!"
"ORA!"
Star Platinum's and Stone Free's fists caved Pucci's skull into the ground, killing him instantly.
"*Huff*… Is it over?" Hermes asked as she saw the corpse of the priest.
"Yes, but now we need to figure out who… this guy is." Jotaro said as he pulled his hat above his eyes as he stared down at Allen and his sword, Lavi nowhere in sight.
Vatican City, Italy…
"What is going on here!"
A large crowd was moved as a blue haired woman with a fringe of green hair moved through it.
In the center of a crater was Lavi, surrounded by chunks of the broken church ceiling.
"We don't know. We were praying when this young man came through the roof… and it's a stone roof so the amount of force he had to be going at was strong enough to break stone but not kill him." The cardinal said as the woman checked Lavi's pulse.
Two Weeks…
Allen's eyes shot open, shooting up in the bed he was resting in.
'Where am I?" he thought as he looked around, ripping the IV out of his arm, wincing slightly as he forced his body to move. 'Where is Lavi? We were fighting the Earl and the Noah… but then…'
"HEY!"
Allen turned his head and saw a doctor, who was wearing a badge that had SPW on it.
Allen ran back into the room, before crossing his arms before his face as he jumped through the window.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" Allen heard as he flipped, landed on the ground safely, and ran off the property.
'What are these?' Allen thought as he saw all the cars in the parking lot.
Pushing these questions down for now, Allen continued to run when he saw security appear in his peripheral.
Later that day…
"I am sorry, Dr. Kujo. But the patient woke up and ran." The Doctor said in a frantic apologetic tone. "We were not able to subdue him because he was to fast…"
"No, it's okay." Jotaro said as he looked around the room, seeing some blood on the glass in the frame. "I will go around and find him. Don't you worry."
"Yes sir." The doctor said again in an apologetic tone.
Jotaro left the room, allowing them to clean it up.
'That boy…' Jotaro thought as he left the hospital and got into his car. 'His sword became his arm after he hit the ground two weeks ago. But that cowl that appeared before it too vanished. Could it all have been a stand with a sub-stand ability?'
Jotaro returned to his home with these types of thoughts going through his mind.
His phone went off, to which he pulled it out and opened it.
Jotaro smiled softly.
Jolyne had sent him a picture of herself and Hermes at the mall, having found some clothing they liked earlier that day.
'I am so proud of you, Jolyne.' Jotaro thought as he put his phone away as dark gray rain clouds started to take over the sky with a light drizzle. 'But you got with an escaped prison convict…'
Meanwhile, Annasui's apartment…
"Oh my God you are being possessive!" Jolyne shouted at Annasui, jabbing him in the chest with her finger. "I went out with Hermes, nothing happened!"
"That's what you say, but this could be false!" Annasui shouted in return.
Jolyne rolled her eyes and turned.
"What does that mean!" Annasui demanded as he grabbed Jolyne, only for his hand to get sliced open as her shoulder became string.
"It means we are through!" Jolyne shouted as she grabbed her backpack and headed toward the door.
"HEY, YOU CAN'T…" Annasui started to say before Stone Free's fist connected with his face, lightning striking as the light drizzle became a heavy downpour.
Jolyne slammed the door on her way out, not caring that it was raining as she pulled out her phone.
"What's up, Jojo?" Jolyne's mother, Marina Kujo, asked as she answered the phone.
"Hey mom," Jolyne said in stemmed anger, trying not to take her aggression out on her mom. "So, I just broke up with Annasui… can I stay with you for a while as I search for a job?"
"Oh, sweetie, of course you can stay with me as long as you like." Marina replied. "Though you will have to pay some rent to help with bills."
Jolyne laughed, the rain pouring down harder.
"Okay, mom. I'll be home soon." She said before she hung up.
*CRASH*
Jolyne turned to face an alley way and saw Allen, wearing a stolen rain jacket, hit the ground before he started to stand again.
'Just a homeless guy…' Jolyne thought as she turned to continue walking, but stopped as she heard him fall again.
"Fuck…" He grunted as he shakily got up. "My wounds haven't healed completely."
"Hey, are you okay?" Jolyne called out as she sprinted to help Allen.
Allen prepared to run, but stumbled, his hand grabbing the trash can to stay standing.
"Woah, it's okay. I just want to help." Jolyne said slowly. "I am on my way home if you want to…"
Jolyne stopped talking when she saw Allen's face.
'It's that guy from Cape Canaveral. He killed Pucci.' Jolyne thought as she tensed up, on edge in case Allen would attack. 'From what I saw, his stand is his arm and it can become a sword.'
"Y-you'd help me, but you don't know me?" Allen mumbled tiredly.
"Yes, but let's talk when we get out of the rain." Jolyne said as she held out her hand.
Allen hesitantly reached out and took it, showing his Innocence.
'That is a strange marking.' Jolyne thought as she took notice of the scar on his face with the pentagram.
"My name is Allen." Allen said as he walked beside Jolyne.
"Jolyne Cujoh."
"Hm…" Allen laughed. "Do people call you Jojo?"
Jolyne laughed in return.
"No, only my mom." She said before she became playfully sassy, hand on her hip. "So that means you can't call me Jojo."
Allen laughed, his head going back, as the rain started to hit harder, thunder sounding in the distance.
"Okay, let's pick up the pace." Jolyne urged as she started to sprint, pulling Allen with her.
Thirty Minutes Later…
Marina hummed happily as she prepared Jolyne's old room.
It was covered in an ocean blue wall paint with tiny dolphins on the bottom and near the ceiling.
A two-person bed, two bookshelves, a desk, and a dresser next to the closet.
'I am so happy that Jotaro was able to prove Jojo's innocence.' Marina thought as she prepared the bed, adding new pillows since the old ones needed to be replaced. 'She is only nineteen, so she shouldn't be spending her best years in prison.'
*KNOCK, KNOCK*
Marina smiled at the knock on the door as she left Jolyne's room, went downstairs, and opened the front door.
"Jojo… who is this?" Marina asked, her smile dropping to a concerned and worried tone as she saw Allen next to Jolyne.
"Mom, this is Allen. Allen, this is my mom, Marina." Jolyne said as she pulled Allen inside. "Go take a shower and warm up, I'll find you some of my deadbeat dad's clothes that you can borrow."
"Oh, no, I…" Allen tried to say as Jolyne pushed him into the downstairs bathroom.
"Jojo, who is that boy?" Marina asked as she closed the distance between them.
"I just met him on my way here." Jolyne said as she grabbed a towel and started to dry herself off, but was still cold from the rain water. "He needed help, so I offered him a place to stay."
"Without asking me?" Marina asked as she quirked an eyebrow and crossed her arms.
Jolyne put her hands up in defense.
"Mom, you always told me to help people," Jolyne replied calmly, the two women hearing the shower get turned on. "I saw him in need, so I decided to help."
Marina sighed and smiled.
"Just like Jotaro, you two can't help but desire to help people." Marina said as she patted Jolyne's head, making Jolyne pout.
"Not a kid, mom." Jolyne said in deadpan.
"You'll always be my little baby, now go get showered in the upstairs shower, I'll find Allen some clothing." Marina ordered.
"Okay, mom." Jolyne said without resistance.
Shower…
Allen stood in the shower with a dead look in his eyes as the water warmed his body.
'What happened?' He thought as he just stood there. 'Where is Lavi? What are these things…'
Allen had taken some time to figure out how to work the nozzles before he showered.
Everything he saw today was strange and unfamiliar.
The way women dressed, the way people talked, and how they traveled was overwhelming to him.
Allen gritted his teeth as he shuddered, closing his eyes as he slumped under the water, entering the fetal position on the shower floor as he cried silently.
Five Minutes Later…
Allen turned off the water and got out, grabbing a towel as he did.
"Hm?" he hummed as he saw a small pile of clothing with a note.
They are a bit big, but they can be adjusted with safety pins.
-Marina.
Allen picked up the clothes and quirked an eyebrow.
Meanwhile…
Jolyne walked downstairs, wearing a large shirt and jean shorts, her green and black hair hanging down her back, no longer in her bunny bun style.
"Jojo," Marina called out from the kitchen. "I made hot chocolate and coffee if you and Allen want some."
"I'll take a coffee." Jolyne said as the bathroom door opened and Allen walked out.
He was wearing oversized sweatpants that pooled at his feet and a dolphin shirt so large it slumped over his shoulder.
"Whoever wore these…" He said with a deadpanned tone and expression. "Must have been a giant."
"They were my Ex-husband's clothes." Marina said as she walked in with four cups, three coffee and one hot chocolate. "Sorry that they are big, I'll use some safety pins to help with the pants."
"Thank you." Allen replied politely as he took notice of the coffee and hot chocolate, taking both in his hands.
The three sat in silence as they drank their respectful drinks, Marina carefully hemming the pants for Allen, the sound of the rain hitting their house being the only sound.
"There, that should be better." Marina said as she stood up, proudly looking at her handywork.
"Again, thank you." Allen said as he looked at the hemming before looking at Jolyne. "What is that?"
Jolyne looked up from her phone.
"My… Phone?" She asked in confusion.
"P-hone?" Allen repeated. "I have never seen a phone that isn't huge and plugged into a massive dashboard."
Jolyne laughed.
"What time are you from? The early Nineteen Hundred's?" Jolyne joked.
"I was born in 1889."
Jolyne went silent.
"What?" Jolyne asked calmly as she stood up, putting her coffee down.
"Well, before I came here, it was 1904." Allen said before his left eye activated, the level three monocle appearing on his face, which Jolyne could see as she summoned Stone Free's Humanoid form.
Allen instinctively reacted as shot out of his seat, ready to fight with Crown Clown activating as his coffee and hot chocolate cups hit the floor, smashing upon contact.
"Allen, what's wrong?" Marina asked in confusion. "Did you burn yourself?"
'What?' Allen thought as Marina questioned him, checking him over. 'She can't see Crown Clown?'
Jolyne took notice of Allen's confusion.
'I knew it. He is a stand user, mom not seeing it confirms it to me.' Jolyne thought as she recalled Stone Free while Marina went to the kitchen to grab towels.
"Allen." Jolyne whispered loud enough to get his attention. "I'll explain everything in a bit, but let's clean this mess."
Allen nodded and retracted Crown Clown, offering his help to clean up the mess he made.
Meanwhile, Annasui's Apartment…
"JOLYNE!" He shouted into his phone, leaving another voicemail as she didn't pick up. "Jolyne~ come back to me~"
Jotaro's Home…
Jotaro, who was in the bath with his rubber dolphin, went still.
'Why do I have the urge to Ora Ora someone?' He thought before he shook his head and returned to his enjoyment.
Skip, hour later…
As Marina went upstairs to go to bed, Jolyne waved goodnight to her mom before turning to Allen.
"Do you… even know what you can do?" Jolyne asked as she sat in the arm chair, legs pulled up into her arms. "I mean, your stand is not like any other stand I have seen."
"Stand?" Allen asked in confusion.
'Oh boy…' Jolyne thought before going through the difficult task to explain what stands are.
Next Day…
Jolyne and Allen walked toward the mall with Hermes to buy Allen some clothes.
'So much has changed…' Allen thought as he remembered all the things Jolyne told him. 'But so much is similar. I am in a world similar to my own, but over a hundred years in the future. Does this mean Lavi is somewhere in this world, or in a different world?'
"Come on, slowpoke." Hermes called out to the young man.
Allen picked up his pace, keeping his mind clear as they entered the mall.
"Woah." Allen said with wide eyes as he looked around.
"Have you never been to the mall before?" Hermes asked the boy as she walked to the men's section.
"Yes, just not an American Mall." Jolyne said for Allen, lest he say something to reveal his origin. "He is British."
"Oh, like your Great Grandpa?" Hermes said as she looked at Allen aweing at one of the displays. "He is like a big kid."
Jolyne rolled her eyes as she waved Allen down.
"Come on, we need you get your clothes so mom can stop panicking." Jolyne said, remembering that morning, Marina had demanded Jolyne take Allen clothes shopping.
"Okay." Allen replied as he caught up with them. "So… H-Herm-Es… Sorry if I mispronounced your name, but do you have a stand too?"
Hermes smirked and summoned her stand, KISS.
Allen awed at KISS's appearance.
"Wow, what can it do?" Allen asked like a child seeing a new kind of candy.
"I'll show you later, I got a bit of an Explosive power." Hermes joked. "But look at this, Allen."
Allen looked at the pants Hermes pointed out.
They were black leather jeans.
"Oh, this is like what I use to wear at home." Allen said as he remembered his old Exorcist outfit, tearing up a bit.
"Well, then let's buy a few pairs and then some shorts." Hermes said as she pulled a few pairs off the rack.
"Allen, I got you some shirts." Jolyne said as she appeared behind him with said items. "And I also got you a jacket for when it gets cold."
"Thank you, Jolyne." Allen said with a blush as he really got a look at Jolyne's face.
After several minutes, and checking out some shoes, Allen was in the changing room with Jolyne and Hermes waiting for him.
"I can't wait." Hermes said as she stretched. "I am so happy the Speedwagon Foundation were able to prove my innocence with the Sport Max bullshit."
"Same, but I have to deal with Annasui." Jolyne stated angrily, scowling.
"What happened?" Hermes asked, remembering how strange Annasui was when it came to Jolyne.
"He got all aggressive and demanding on knowing who I was hanging out with and what I was doing yesterday." Jolyne stated in an angry tone. "I don't mind if my man wants to be involved, but being a nosey bitch isn't what I want."
"I can agree with that." Hermes said as the changing room door opened.
"Agree with what?" Allen asked as he stepped out.
He was finally wearing clothes that fit him, which made him happy, but specifically, he wore a long sleeve shirt with the sleeves rolled up with a leather vest on, unbuttoned, and the leather pants. He wore Nike running shoes on his feet.
"Wow, you look good kid." Hermes stated as she applauded at Allen's appearance. "If you didn't have that tattoo, you'd be the epitome of an E-Boy."
"This isn't a tattoo," Allen said in a scary tone as he remembered Mana while he touched his face with his left hand, which was covered in a glove. "It's a scar my dad gave me before he died."
"Damn, your dad sounds like a douche." Hermes said before she took a step back from the glare Allen gave her.
"Mana was a great man, and I am the reason why he died." Allen stated angrily, looking through his fingers to glare at Hermes, a pentagram appearing in his eye.
"Allen, Hermes didn't mean to say that." Jolyne said calmly, holding her hands up to show she meant no harm.
"I am sorry." Hermes apologized. "I didn't know."
Allen closed himself off, looking at the floor, going silent.
"No, I should be the one to apologize." Allen said after a few minutes.
"I accept your apology, but you can make up for it by showing me your stand after this." Hermes stated as she wanted to keep herself sharp in case of a new stand attack.
"Okay, that I can do." Allen said with a sad smile as he and Hermes went to the cash register with Jolyne behind them, looking at Allen in concern.
Chapter 1, DONE!
Wassup.
I feel like I am the first person to do a D. Gray Man X Jojo story. If I am wrong, let me know.
But I feel like I have set up the story pretty well.
Lavi and Allen are now in a different world that is over a hundred years later than where they are originally from.
Jolyne is still alive and she is out of prison thanks to Jotaro and the Speedwagon Foundation.
And you read the chapter, so I don't need to explain everything, but I like the JolyneXAllen idea, and if you want to see art of it, please check out my girlfriend's DeviantArt page at Boo1194.
