The day was coming to its close
They were scampering about
Playing barefoot
Among dandelions and dead nettles
The younger one is always adventurous
The older one is more sensible
Being polar opposites
Typically, the latter
Would disapprove of playing barefoot
Or in playing in a finer dress
But, tonight, she disregarded
Any rules, opting more for fun
In the moment, they seemed like children
Little girls at play, giddy to being allowed to stay out a bit later
Having fun, as the day ended
In a spell of sisterly bonding
Playing among dandelions and dead nettles
While the sun sets.
Authoress Note: Well, I figured that, if they grew up together, in a normal environment/upbringing, they will have played together, so I took a picture capturing what such a scenario might've looked like. IDK what they're playing but I presume it's one that involves chasing each other.-Amoridere
