"That was delicious," Hiroki said as he waddled into the house, patting his bloated belly. He had a Styrofoam box in his other hand, the leftover pasta inside still warming his skin.

"It was," Nowaki agreed, carefully making his way into the house as to not disturb Fuyumi, who was sleeping soundly in her baby carrier. "But Hiro-san, we need to have a talk."

Hiroki looked over his shoulder questioningly as he went to the kitchen and switched on the light.

"About what?" he asked, going to the refrigerator to put the leftovers on the top shelf. However, his way was blocked by the leftover cinnamon rolls. "Hey, Honey, let's finish these cinnamon rolls off tomorrow morning."

There was a long silence as Hiroki rearranged the contents in the fridge to fit the Styrofoam box. He paused, then looked up.

"…Nowaki?" he asked, looking over his shoulder, where Nowaki was staring at him with pink cheeks and his mouth hanging open. "What are you looking at?"

Nowaki shook his head slightly and cleared his throat as he set Fuyumi's baby carrier on the island counter to unbuckle her.

"N-Nothing. You just… no, it's nothing. Uh… do you think you could heat up some formula? I'll feed Fuyumi."

"Nnn," Fuyumi whimpered as Nowaki lifted her out of her carrier and brought her to his chest, where she slumped against his shoulder. Nowaki supported her with one hand under her bottom as she promptly fell asleep against her daddy.

"Alright. Go ahead and wait in the living room, I'll be there in a few," Hiroki said, turning away from Nowaki to begin preparing formula. Nowaki went into the living room as Hiroki worked. When the formula was finished and the temperature tested, Hiroki went to the living room, where Nowaki was sitting on the couch as he rocked Fuyumi in the dim light.

Hiroki froze, suddenly remembering a memory of long ago. An image of Nowaki sitting in a rocking chair with a faceless baby materialized in his head. This time, however, there was a face- Fuyumi's. Nowaki's face was just like Hiroki had imagined it to be- truly at peace, his eyelids lowered and a neutral smile on his lips.

"Hey… I got the formula," Hiroki said softly, coming around to the front of the couch and flopping down beside his fiancé.

"Thanks, love," Nowaki murmured, taking the bottle from Hiroki. He pressed the nipple to Fuyumi's lips. He eyes opened a little in confusion, but then slid shut again as she latched on. She reached up to hold the bottle, her left hand petting Nowaki's finger.

"She's been feeding a lot more lately," Hiroki commented, snaking an arm behind Nowaki to gently scratch his back.

"It's about time to introduce her to solids," Nowaki sighed, smiling sadly. "I like feeding her like this so much more, though."

"Me, too," Hiroki agreed. They watched Fuyumi suckle as her hands slowly started to slip away from the bottle.

"So… Hiro-san," Nowaki said after a while.

"Mm?"

"Tonight, when I mentioned our honeymoon, you seemed kinda confused. Do you… do you not want to go on one?" Nowaki asked sheepishly, hunching his shoulders.

"Oh, that? I hadn't thought about it at all, actually. It's not that I don't want to go on one, but I don't know where we'd go. I mean, really, where would we go?"

"I want to take you on a cruise through the Baltic," Nowaki said immediately. Hiroki blinked, taken aback. "The cruise ship isn't that big, so it's not that expensive. And… I want to take Fuyumi with us, because I want to make it a week-long trip."

"You want to bring Fuyumi with us on our honeymoon?"

"Hiro-san, I can't stay away from her for more than a few hours. Now that I can hold her and kiss her and hug her… I just can't give that up for anything. But… at the same time, I really want to spend quality time with you. Alone."

"We won't be alone if we have Fuyumi with us, silly."

Nowaki smiled and chuckled.

"I guess you're right. But… still. You understand, right?" Nowaki asked.

"Of course I understand," Hiroki said. "Which is why I just don't know about the honeymoon thing. I mean, we have responsibilities now. We can't just run off to have sex anymore."

"I know," Nowaki said. "I just… really want to spoil you."

Hiroki smiled gently and put his hand on Nowaki's thigh.

"You've already given me everything, Nowaki. You think you need to just keep giving me things, but… I'm truly happy with what I have."

Nowaki's eyes widened slightly before softening.

"That's great, Hiro-san… it really is. I'm so glad," Nowaki whispered. He smiled down at Fuyumi, pink lightly coloring his cheeks.

After awhile, Nowaki put Fuyumi to bed, disappearing into her nursery for a few moments. Hiroki awaited him on the couch, his legs folded to the side. When Nowaki returned, he made his way back to the couch. Hiroki hardly had to look at him to know what was on his mind, and accepted his arms the moment they encircled his waist. They fell back onto the couch as one, Nowaki entrapping Hiroki with an elbow on either side of his head.

"Mm," Hiroki hummed in content into Nowaki's mouth. Nowaki was smiling against his lips, causing their kisses to be slightly clumsy. Hiroki cupped Nowaki's face in his hands and pulled him away. "What are you smiling about?"

"I'm just thinking that I'm the luckiest man on earth."

Tap, tap, tap.

Nowaki's face scrunched up slightly as he stirred. The hand that had been gently stroking his hair froze on his head.

"Nowaki? Are you awake?" Hiroki asked quietly, looking down at Nowaki, whose head was laying on his thigh as he slept. Nowaki shifted again.

"Mm'yeah… did I fall asleep on the couch?"

"Yeah. We both did," Hiroki said, laughing slightly. Nowaki yawned and sat up, rubbing his eyes.

"What are you doing?"

Hiroki turned back to his laptop, which was balanced on the armrest of the couch as he searched the web.

"Looking for deals on the location of our wedding. So far, I found a community center that's pretty cheap. It'll be enough to house my whole family."

"Whole family?" Nowaki echoed. Hiroki sighed.

"Both my mom and dad came from huge, huge families. They tell me all the time that I'm an only child because they thought I wouldn't want six or seven brothers and sisters like they did. And then, all my aunts and uncles have their whole families and… yeah. My mom would kill me if I didn't invite my whole family, so hopefully she'll get the hint that I want it to be just a small get-together and just invite first cousins, uncles, and aunts."

"Grandparents?"

"The majority of my grandparents are dead," Hiroki said bluntly, glancing at Nowaki. "The Kamijou family has a history of heart and lung problems, so unfortunately I've lost a ton of family members that way."

"Hiro-san!"

Hiroki jumped and snapped his head towards Nowaki, who was staring at him with wide, horrified eyes.

"What?" he asked, hunching his shoulders.

"Hiro-san, what about you? What about your mom and dad? Fuyumi?" Nowaki asked frantically, his eyes nearly popping out of his head.

"Nowaki, relax! My grandparents died because they were smokers and had high cholesterol! Why the hell do you think I'm so against smoking?" Hiroki snapped. "Lung and heart problems aren't hereditary in my family!"

"Jeez," Nowaki sighed, slumping against the couch and pinching the bridge of his nose. "I thought I was going to have a heart attack."

"You will if you freak out every time I bring up death," Hiroki said, rolling his eyes. He leaned against the armrest and crossed his legs, sighing. "Anyway, I really like the price of renting this community center. There's a room that was specifically built for wedding ceremonies, then there's this big room that we can use for the reception."

"You want to have a reception?" Nowaki asked, raising an eyebrow. "That's unlike you."

"Mom," Hiroki answered simply, not bothering to look at Nowaki. "If I don't give her enough opportunities to film things, she'll harp on me about it for the rest of my life. And when I talked to Dad about it, he supported her! Can you believe that?"

Nowaki didn't answer, and Hiroki turned towards him questioningly.

"Nowaki?"

"Hiro-san, I feel really uncomfortable about just… diving into the Kamijou family. Rather… I feel uncomfortable about stealing you away from the Kamijou family. If… If you recall, the Kusama family is… is just me."

Nowaki looked down as Hiroki furrowed his eyebrows at him.

"I don't think it matters what name we're going to have. Either way, my dad will be your dad; my mom will be your mom… et cetera. And… I want to become a Kusama, because then you'll have two new family members. The Kamijou family has plenty of members. I'm sure they'll be willing to give up just one to give you some title to your name."

Nowaki gazed at Hiroki, his eyes creasing slightly.

"I had no idea that that was how you felt."

"I take family names very seriously," Hiroki said, smiling a little as he turned back to his laptop. He felt his free hand enter the warm encasement of Nowaki's. He turned to face his fiancé once more.

"Hiro-san… if I'm going to be taking you from the Kamijou family, then I want to do it right. I want to formally ask your parents for your hand in marriage."
