Hi! I would like to start off by saying that this is very Ziva-centered and if you don't like her this isn't the story for you. This story also has a lot to do with her and tony being very close and eventually getting together along with Gibbs as a good father figure, again if you don't like it don't read. Those of you that are still here, Hi bestie! Please keep your mental health in mind while reading because this will eventually describe some of what Ziva went through in Somalia. This will talk about rape; this is your trigger warning. Thanks, M

Disclaimer: if I owned it, I wouldn't be writing on here

"Zi, for the millionth time it's a movie!" Tony said, honestly surprised she was being as passionate as she was considering she started to fall asleep halfway through it. Normally he is the one that got upset about movies but all he could think about was how Ziva looked last night.

A few months ago, Tony talked Ziva into watching 'Jaws' with him and that started their new weekly movie night, but last night it was raining so hard that by the time they got from his car into his apartment building both of them were soaked. Tony ended up giving Ziva some of his clothes to wear since they forgot her bag in the car.

That was another new thing, Ziva staying at his apartment. It started after their third movie night and hasn't stopped since. Not that he minded, quite the contrary actually, the sight of her sleeping in his bed has brought up feelings he thought he buried a while ago. Last night was different though, he knew Somalia left its mark on her but he got a glimpse of her nightmares and even though he wasn't the one having them, he was still pretty upset because he could still hear her screams ringing in his ears.

~Last Night~

Tony leaned against his countertop while he took a sip of his water wanting nothing more than to be lying next to his partner, although he knew he needed to get over these feelings, she was his partner, and if that's all she would ever be he needed to accept it and try to move on. After all, Ziva has been through she needed something stable and that was more than he could give her.

Suddenly there was screaming, Ziva's screaming, and he was running. His brain barely registered his glass breaking as he went to his room. When he walked into his room he saw her shaking and his heart broke a little. He approached the bed she was laying in and started shaking her to try and wake her up as he spoke softly to her.

'Ziva, Come on Zi, it's just a dream.'

It wasn't working and he was starting to freak out but tried his hardest to stay calm because he knew that whatever was going on in her mind at that moment wasn't pretty, and he needed to wake her up. So, using one hand to hold hers he started shaking her faster.

Hey! Come on Ziva, I need you to wake up.'

This time it worked, and Ziva sat up so fast it scared him. She was breathing fast and heavy and was scanning the room until she looked at him. When their eyes met, he held his breath, he wasn't sure how to proceed, he wasn't sure what to say but he knew he had to calm her down.

'You, okay? Do you wanna talk about it?'

'No.'

Yeah, because that helps. He didn't know what to do so he started to get up but she just gripped his hand tighter so he stopped moving and brushed a curl out of her face.

'Do you need to talk about it?'

Probably, she thought but instead, she responded with, 'No.'

He stared at her but realized that it was no use, if she didn't want to talk then she wouldn't talk. He stood up, kissing her forehead as he did so, and told her to go back to sleep. She didn't want him to go through.

'Stay? Please?' she asked. He hesitated because of just how small his bed is but, in the end, there was no way he was going to say no to her and they both knew it.

'Yeah, scoot over.' He said as he lifted the covers.

Ziva moved over but as soon as Tony laid down, she laid her head on his shoulder and moved closer to him. He put his arms around her and pulled her closer to him before he started rubbing slow circles on her back. She was still shaking, but it was slowing down. He felt his shirt get wet with her tears and it physically hurt him to know that she was in this much pain. 'This is just what she's showing now' he thought to himself, 'I wonder if she goes through this every day but just doesn't show it.'

A few minutes later he felt her breathing even out and as he closed his heavy eyes he told her, 'You'll be okay Ziva.'

'It is based on a true story is it not?' Ziva's words brought him out of his memories and made him think fast to try and come up with an answer.

'Well yeah but-'

He's gotten used to them arguing but lately, they are either constantly arguing and flirty and there was no in-between. He was at the point of locking them in a room together just so they will get together and hopefully he can get through a full day's work without a headache from the two.

The two looked at each other before replying, 'No. ''Then it is upsetting.' Ziva replied as she stretched in her chair.

'I don't think you can choose what's upsetting and what isn't Zee-vah.'

'The poor boy was traumatized!'

'Will the two of you stop it? You've been arguing since you got here.' McGee said not being able to tune them out any longer.

'Grab your gear, get a dead Lance Corporal in Quantico.' Gibbs said as he walked into the bullpen. The team buried to follow with ziva and tony mumbling to each other but once they were all in the elevator Tony felt a slap to the back of his head. He stared at Gibbs in shock only to be met with a smirk.

'Don't argue with your partner DiNozzo.'

Tony looked down at Ziva who was trying not to laugh before saying 'Daddy's girl.' and 'Oomph' as Ziva elbowed him in the stomach.

'They didn't even try to hide it!' McGee said as he watched Ducky cut open the trash bag the body was placed in. The wife came home the night before from bringing their son to her parents to her husband missing and a blood-covered living room. The police searched for hours before they found a blood trail that led to a dumpster for a nearby restaurant where they found the body chopped up and put into bags. After collecting the evidence, the team went back to the navy yard and started to do research but now they were checking in with Ducky to see what he had found, but the body was cut into so many pieces he and Jimmy were only halfway through the bags.

'Well, it's in bags McGee I'd say that was them trying to hide it.' Tony said as he ended his phone call. 'C'mon Zee-vah, his CIA buddy is here.'

Lance Corporal Andrew Stevin was apparently working with the CIA, who was trying to take down a sex trafficking ring that was funding the Taliban. Agent Aaden Harris happened to be one of the last people to call Andrew, so when the team went through his phone records Harris was one of the first to be notified of his death and offered to come in to help in any way possible.

(line break)

'I do not think the CIA has been this willing to help the scene-' Ziva started to say but stopped as she and Tony rounded the counter and she saw just who Mr. CIA actually was. Her heart felt like it would pound out of her chest and although she could hear Tony talking to her, her brain wasn't processing anything he was saying. She could feel her hands start to shake and knew she had to leave so she ran to the back stairwell and ran as fast as she could down to the autopsy.
