House of Chests:

The club was still locked in the love tomb. The tomb was still shaking and everyone was scared

"I want to go outside," said Amber.

"Calm down Amber," said Aaron.

"I love you guys," said Amber.

"I love you Amber," said Alfie.

"I love you guys too," said Patricia.

"Oh Patricia, I've something to confess to you," said Amber.

"What is it?" Asked Patricia.

"That valentine you got from Douglas Fisher, you didn't get it from him, I wrote it as a prank," said Amber.

"What?" Asked Patricia.

"And when you asked me that one time if you had a big butt in those jeans and I said you didn't, I lied you do have a big but," said Amber.

"Amber you're unbelievable," said Patricia.

The shaking started to stop. Amber was still panicking and Aaron tried to calm her down.

"Calm down Amber, it's over, the shaking is over," said Aaron.

"Is everyone okay?" Asked Fabian.

"I believe so," said Aaron.

"I thought that Tutankhamun and Amneris were on our side," said Alfie.

Fabian walked to the entrance doe and tried to move the stone door, but he couldn't move it.

"Aaron and Alfie give me a hand," said Fabian.

Nina tried to calm Amber down. Aaron and Alfie walked over to Fabian, and the three of her tried to move the stone out of the way.

"We're going to die, said Amber.

"We're not going to die, said Nina.

"If people ever manage to discover this tomb they will only find our skeletons, said Amber.

"Amber look at me, that isn't gonna happen because we aren't gonna die, said Nina.

"Oh and Amber, I don't have a big butt," said Patricia.

"You kinda do," said Amber.

The three girls laughed and Amber seemed to have calmed down a bit. Suddenly one of the stone coffins opened by itself. Amber got scared and hid behind Nina and Patricia. The boys stop trying opening the door and walked over to the girls.

Back at the house. The shaking also slowly started to stop and Victor came out from under the table.

"What was that?" Asked Victor.

Victor grabbed a dustpan and dustpan and cleaned up the glass shards from the floor. Victor still didn't realize what was happening to the mirror behind him.

A few moments later. Mara and Joy came home and saw the mess.

"What happened here?" Asked Mara.

"Well it's obvious that we're back home," said Joy.

Mara and Joy walked around the house to see if anyone was home. Suddenly they heard someone speak very softly.

"Trudy is that you?" Asked Mara.

"Trudy had been hiding under some cloths, came out when she saw Mara and Joy.

"Trudy?" Asked Joy.

"Oh my sweeties, my precious sweeties," said Trudy.

Trudy gave Mara and Joy a very big and firm hug.

"You're shaking," said Mara.

"Me? You mean the whole house, there was just an earthquake here. Everything was falling and collapsing," said Trudy.

"An earthquake?" Asked Joy.

"You don't believe me, don't you?" Asked Trudy.

"If there had been an earthquake we would have felt it outside too," said Mara.

"Yeah, Mara has a point there," said Joy.

"I'm not crazy, really I'm not," said Trudy.

"No, but we don't say that Trudy," said Mara.

"Maybe you should go on a holiday," suggested Joy.

"Go on holiday? I just got back from my holiday," said Trudy.

"How about the idea that we're going to drink a cup of tea," suggested Mara.

"Excellent idea," said Joy.

"Okay," said Trudy.

Mara and Joy followed Trudy into the living room.

At the same time in the love tomb. Nina walked over to the coffin and looked in it.

"Nina. Nina don't," said Amber.

"Nina," said Fabian.

"I see something, said Nina.

"Maybe there's something scary in it, said Amber.

"It's okay, said Nina.

"Oh please don't let it be a flesh eating monster, but a sweet little fluffy bunny, said Amber.

"What's in it? Asked Amber.

"A chest, said Nina, as she took a mini wooden chest out of the coffin.

"I wonder what's in it," said Aaron.

"Maybe a diamond," said Amber.

"Or maybe a big spider that likes eats blond girls," joked Alfie.

"The eye of Horus," said Nina, as she saw the symbol was on the chest.

"That is to protect the content," said Fabian.

"Whoa, whoa, what needs to be protected then?" Asked Alfie.

"Whoa, whoa I don't want to know, just leave the chest in its place," said Amber.

"Do you think we should open it?" Asked Nina.

"Yes, open it," said Alfie.

"No, maybe another ghost will be released and we just got rid of our curse," said Amber.

"I don't know, why is it suddenly appear right now," said Nina.

"Shall we open it up?" Asked Patricia.

"Why does nobody here ever listen to what I've to say," complained Amber.

In the meantime in the house. Mara and Joy were having a cup of tea with Trudy.

"Are you feeling better? Asked Mara.

"Yes, thank you for asking," said Trudy.

"How was your holiday?" Asked Joy.

"Oh it was terrible," said Trudy.

"How come?" Asked Mara.

"My hotel was gross, there were spiders and cockroaches in the room and in the bathroom," said Trudy.

"Ah gross," said Joy.

"Have you heard about Fiona?" Asked Mara.

"Yes, I'm going to miss her, but I'm happy for my sweetie," said Trudy.

"Well Mara you now have a room to yourself," said Joy.

"That is not true," said Trudy.

"What do you mean? Are we getting a new resident?" Asked Joy.

"Yes," said Trudy.

"How do you know this?" Asked Mara.

"Victor told me this," said Trudy.

"What do you know about her?" Asked Mara.

"Victor didn't tell me her name, he just said that she's from America and that she would come tomorrow school day starts," said Trudy.

Otis entered the kitchen through the back door with a bag full of groceries. Otis set the groceries down on the counter and walked into the living room.

"Otis," said Joy.

"Hello my Joyful," said Otis.

Joy stood up from her chair and walked over to Otis and a flew around Otis' neck, Otis almost fell over.

"Did you miss me?" Asked Joy.

"Like crazy," said Otis.

"I missed you too," said Joy.

"Hi Otis, it's good to see you, said Mara.

"Hi Mara, it's good to see you too," said Otis.

"Did you manage to get all the groceries?" Asked Trudy.

"Yes," said Otis.

Trudy went to the kitchen and Otis and Joy sat down at the table.

"Otis can I ask you something?" Asked Joy, in a whispering tone.

"Why are you whispering?" Asked Otis.

"Because I don't want Trudy to hear this," said Joy.

"What would you like to ask?" Asked Otis.

"Did you just feel an earthquake?" Asked Joy.

"An earthquake? Why do you ask?" Asked Otis.

"Because when we got home, Trudy said there was an earthquake," said Joy.

"No, but I was also out to run an errand," said Otis.

"Then Trudy must have imagined it," said Joy.

"Is Trudy going crazy again?" Asked Otis.

"Trudy was never crazy, just a little overworked back then," said Mara.

"She thought the house was haunted and she covered the whole house with super glue," said Otis.

"She just had a burnout and she's better now," said Mara.

Otis poured himself and Mara and Joy some more tea, and the three of them enjoyed a cup of tea.

Back in the love tomb. The club still had to decide what to do with the chest.

"I don't know," said Nina.

"I don't think we should open it," said Amber.

"What would be in it?" Asked Nina.

"Tutankhamun's golden toe," said Alfie.

"Disgusting," said Amber.

"That probably won't be it," said Aaron.

"There's only one way to find out," said Fabian.

"Can I please see what's in there?" Asked Alfie.

Alfie took the box from Fabian's hands. Alfie removed the top part of the box and inside the box was something wrapped in old bindings. Fabian saw something on the bandage, Alfie wanted to remove the binding.

"Okay here we go," said Alfie.

"Stop," said Fabian.

Everyone in the club looked at Fabian, why did Alfie have to stop removing the binding.

In the meantime. Victor was still in the cellar and he had finished cleaning up the shards of glass and had restored his chemistry set.

"So it's standing again, said Victor.

"Victor...," said a voice

Victor got startled.

"That voice...," said Victor, as if he recognized the voice

"Victor...," said the voice again.

Victor turned around and walked over to the mirror. Victor removed the things that were in front of the mirror and knocked on the mirror.

"Victor…," said the voice.

Victor was startled and quickly withdrew his hand from the mirror.

"Father?" Asked Victor.

"Victor...," said the voice.

"Father? How are you...?" asked Victor.

"Victor, save the honor," said the voice.

"Father, what do you mean by that?" Asked Victor.

The light from the mirror dimmed. Victor thought he was going crazy, his father is dead and there was no way that it was his voice.

In the meantime in the love tomb. Fabian pulled the object from Alfie's hands.

"Wait a second," said Fabian.

"What is it?" Asked Nina.

"This is the symbol of the evil god Set, I don't know exactly what it means," said Fabian.

"That means the jackpot is here. An original mummy claw," said Alfie, as he took the object from Fabian.

"Or a beautiful necklace with matching earrings," said Amber.

"Maybe we should just take the chest home and examine it better there, if I want to decipher the hieroglyphics I need my books," said Fabian.

"No, we don't take anything with us, everything stays here," said Nina.

"Weren't you the one who wanted to open it in the beginning," said Alfie.

"Everything stays here," said Nina.

"I don't understand you, ever heard of finders keepers," said Alfie.

"According to Sarah, the curse will not rest until everything is back in the tomb. You can look, but don't take anything with you," said Nina.

"And Tutankhamun and Amneris are reunited again, then all is well. Alfie I'd like to go home," said Amber.

"The Ankh is back, maybe this is our reward," said Fabian.

"And what if we're wrong, I don't want gran to almost die again," said Nina,

"And Fabian you just said that sign is bad," said Aaron.

"Listen why don't we unpack it first and then..., said Alfie, but Fabian cut him off.

"Nina is right. Don't take any risks, the chest stays here," said Fabian.

"Everyone agree?" Asked Nina.

"Yes of course," said Amber.

"I also think that we should it leave here," said Patricia.

"Hey I'm going cool with leaving it here," said Aaron.

"Sibuna," said Amber, while she did the Sibuna gesture.

"Sibuna," said the rest of the club, while they did the Sibuna gesture.

The club looked at Alfie, as he was the only one who didn't say Sibuna

"Alfie agree?" Asked Fabian.

"Guys can't I just take a quick look?" Asked Alfie.

"No, you can't and you shouldn't," said Fabian.

"Okay, okay, you're right. I'm sorry," said Alfie.

"I'm sorry too, I shouldn't have picked up the chest. I just hope it's all over," said Nina.

"Now all we've to do is get out of here," said Fabian.

"With the six of us we can move that stone, said Aaron.

Nina put the top of the chest back on top of the mystery object and put the chest back in the coffin. The club moved toward the entrance and pushed the stone as hard as they could. The club got the entrance open and left the tomb.

"Alfie come on, or else we can walk home," said Fabian.

"Yes I'm coming, I just need to grab my bag," said Alfie.

Alfie walked to where his bag was. Alfie picked up the chest and put it in his bag. Alfie put on his bag and left the tomb.

Back at the house. Victor was in the bathroom and splashed his face with water. Victor dried his face and looked in the mirror.

"Maybe I should lie down for a while," said Victor.

Victor walked out of the room, but it seemed as if his reflection remained. Was this really Victor or someone else?
