Albus, I had a friend that died in France the first day the giants attacked. He sent me a letter where even his owl did not survive after giving it to me. The only thing he managed to write was how horrible the devastation was, but also mentioning a wolf. I have no idea if that would tell you anything, but if he took the time to write it as his last words, perhaps we should look into what he meant, and if that situation ever arise again. -Garrick Ollivander

The purpose part 33 A day with Severus

Chapter 87 (july 1972)

*What's the fastest spell you know?*Asked Seth to Ruma.

She took a moment to think about the question, then her wand flew out of her hand. Seth had barely moved his wand and she was now defenseless. Seth returned her wand with the levitation spell. She look at her wand, then pondered about the disarming spell. It was long to say, but Seth had not uttered a word.

*I guess spells can all be fast, if done silently.*Said Ruma.

Seth made a smirk before moving his wand again in a loop and a bright orange beam sprouted out of his wand towards her, but it was slow, and she had plenty of time to move away before it continued its way on the mirrors behind and shattering them with force. Her hair flew in the air from the blow, and she hid her eyes from the flying shards.

*What was that?*Asked Ruma.

*A disintegrate curse.*Said Seth.

She looked at him in shock.

*What? You could have killed me right there!*Said Ruma, flustered.

Seth shook his head.

*You are still here. Why is that?*Asked Seth

She blinked, remembering how she had time to move away.

*Oh… even if you did not say it aloud, that was a slow curse… I see your point now.*Said Ruma.

*Answer the question.*Said Seth sternly.

*Well… I can't do silent spells, so I guess something like Accio.*Said Ruma.

*Now. How could Accio be lethal?*Said Seth.

She blinked several times.

*Because… it can be?*Asked Ruma.

*You already know this; everything is about intent. Accio is the summoning charm, although it cannot be used on living things. But-, what if I want, a knife or-, a nearby hard object like a brick from a wall to hit you with or simply take your wand out of your hand if you never placed the anti-theft on it before? Clothes, to distract your target. Perhaps… an artificial limb or screws in a muggle's body if you tend to think like some crazy deatheaters.*Said Seth with a cruel smile.

He had gone closer to her as he spoke, and she had backed away. He stared at her lazily, then sighed.

*You… ah, just… leave, enjoy the rest of your summer.*Said Seth before turning heels and leaving the mirror room.

She was left speechless, and she realised what he said. She smiled and went back to her grand-mother, just like she had promised. She was thinking about all the things she could do, and her first thought was sending an owl to Severus the next morning.

OoOoO

Hello Sev,

I hope you are not too busy. Would you like to go see a movie or go to the London theatre this afternoon?

Ruma

Severus read the letter with the neat handwriting of Ruma and promptly wrote a reply before leaving the house. His father was not working today, and he could not bear the screams and shouts all day again. The hot summer air hung to his lungs and made him thirsty quite rapidly. It was still early, and he only passed a few people in the streets. He walked in the streets until his stomach rumbled and he stopped to eat. It was a muggle café he entered. Out of the corner of his eyes, he saw a man reading the local newspaper where it was written 'Is war upon us?'. Muggles were getting suspicious, that was obvious. He took the muffin from the employee and made his way out, but when he turned around, he saw Ruma standing outside with a big smile and waving.

*How did you find me?*Asked Severus after pushing the café's door.

*Oh, please don't get mad, my house-elf read your magical signature and simply brought me here. I was so excited when I received your reply, I could not wait. That is… if you don't mind we hang out?*Asked Ruma.

She was holding a little blue handbag with her two hands in front of her and she wore a simple pair of short jeans and a sleeveless light blue top. Her long black hair on the front was held by a clip behind her head and the rest laid on her shoulders going as far as her hips.

*It's… fine, I guess. Do you want to walk around?*Asked Severus.

*Yes, I do! I don't know this part of the city. Where is your house?*Asked Ruma.

They started to walk on the sidewalk slowly and Severus bit into his muffin. He did not answered her right away, and she never pressed him to answer, which that was one thing she loved from Ruma. They could stay together in perfect silence and it was never awkward.

*About… an hour or two by walking on the east side.*Said Severus.

Why so far from home? Ruma eyed him from the corner of her eyes. He wore a black t-shirt and black jeans. The shirt showed a subtle well-built teenager underneath, and everyone knew Severus was not a Quidditch player. A result from someone who could have exercised a lot when at home. He did walk a lot outside at Hogwarts too, trying to get away from the Gryffindor bullies. Was he having a bad time at home too? He never said anything about his father, except that he works a lot.

*Oh, I see. Well, we don't need to go that way or to the theatre. I'm sure we can find other things to do? Oh, look! Let's go in that big carousel further away! I've never been in one, have you?*Said Ruma.

Severus shook his head but had the hem of his sleeve pulled by Ruma excitedly.

So, they did just that.

They stayed in that wheel for the longest of time, Ruma pointing to things she could see up high, saying how she would love to fly without burdens of a broom. Severus barely spoke, but Ruma never minded. When they went down for the thirtieth time, Ruma brought Severus to a long bridge where a sidewalk was large enough for five people, built especially for walkers. She brought him to a museum where they saw artifacts where she thought some were magic.

*Look, right there! Isn't that an Omniocular?*Said Ruma.

An object similar to binoculars were behind a glass container, but it clearly had the markings of the magical one.

*It's probably broken… it's written there is only shows blackness, no matter how many times they have dismantled it.*Said Severus.

She shrugged and they continued the visit where multiple paintings from renown painters were hung on the walls. There were parchments and books of important dates and people. Wax statues of great inventors with their inventions by their sides or in their hands.

*The phone is great. Do you have one?*Asked Ruma.

*We do. But I don't know the number.*Said Severus.

*So, your father is a muggle.*Deduced Ruma.

Something got caught in Severus's throat and he cursed under his breath.

*There's nothing wrong with that. I did tell you both my parents are muggles, even if my mother is something else now. Oh, I learned something about my ancestry yesterday.*Said Ruma.

She let the words sink in, to make Severus forget about his mishap. She did pique his curiosity. They walked out of the museum, and there they were.

'

Deatheaters.

'

About a dozen of them that began to attack every muggle they saw, shooting fire at cars, and making pure chaos. This time, it was Severus that grabbed her wrist and pulled her away, but she stopped him, and pulled out her wand from her handbag.

*What do you think you are doing? You have the Trace on you!*Said Severus with a light trembling voice.

*No! Not me!*Said Ruma.

Seth had made sure Mafalda Hopkirk removed the Trace on her after her first year. She turned heels and went to hide behind a nearby stonewall. She gazed at the scene, and it was horrible. Muggles were floating in the air screaming in agony before falling on the asphalt. The deatheaters then ended their lives with the killing curse. Her heartbeat accelerated at the prospect of battling and be in a dangerous situation. She pointed at the first deatheater, the only one without a mask, and fired a disarming spell. The deatheater spun around and blocked the spell and fired a cutting hex in return where Ruma avoided it by hiding again behind the stonewall. The cutting curse sliced the stone beside her.

*Little girl wants to play.*Said the deatheater with a growl.

His creepy voice gave her the chills. What did she even think? Severus was a few steps away and hesitated, not wanting to let her alone, but not wanting to get involved. He shook his head and grabbed her arm, pulled her out of there, and they started running. She managed to block a stupefy from the deatheater, but he apparated in front of them. He had yellow eyes and sharp teeth. 'I hope you never meet Greyback the werewolf' Seth had told her. She was pretty sure it was him.

*Mudbloods hurrying somewhere?*Said the werewolf before licking his lips.

She had nothing to lose even though she hated herself for using her heritage.

*I don't think Voldemort would want you to kill or harm the Vampire's heir, Greyback.*Said Ruma haughtily.

*Ooh hou hou! Saying his name, sweet little girl. Prove me your words!*Hissed Greyback, but his eyes showed hesitation.

*You must truly be daft for a deatheater, she named three things that proved it in your face, werewolf.*Sneered Severus.

*That's because he is not one.*Said Lucius's voice behind them.

They spun around and another deatheater, masked this time, stood there, pointing his wand at them, albeit lower. He moved his wand in a swish motion, indicating them to leave, which they did. Lucius had recognised Severus, then Ruma. He waited that they run out of sight before scolding Greyback.

*That would have brought mayhem upon us, Fenrir. Never touch that girl even if she plucks every hair on your scalp!*Hissed Lucius.

*And why is that?*Asked Fenrir.

*Ruma Vulken, the vampire heiress, like she said. She brings a lot of followers to our Dark Lord every year, and the boy was also a Slytherin. Leave them be.*Said Lucius before turning around and continuing his assault.

Fenrir made a grunt and followed him. At a distance, a masked figure in a dark red cloak flew around them, moving cars, and crashing walls.

OoOoO

*That was Lucius, right?*Asked Ruma.

*I believe so. I don't think any… other one would have known us.*Said Severus.

They could hear sirens and saw several police cars and firetrucks going to the direction of the museum. She had no idea how she felt about the muggles being murdered. It's just how Gellert had said, wizards were too few around the world compared to the sheer number of muggles, but they were dangerous. There was even another war in the world, and Britain had decided to not take part. It apparently caused a lot of friction with the United states of America. Should she care if some were killed if there was billions of them? 'They would not hesitate to put you in a lab and study your body.' Had said Gellert. She shivered at the thought.

*Why did you even attack them for?*Asked Severus.

*I think… I wanted to feel something. The thrill of using magic and feeling danger.*Mumbled Ruma.

*Not a reason to put your life at risk. You were lucky just because of who you are.*Said Severus.

*I don't want to be treated like this just because of who I am.*Said Ruma.

They had been walking mindlessly and were now on the bridge again. The sun was coming down and made beautiful colors in the sky. Severus stopped walking and placed his hands on the edge, looking at the horizon where a cruising boat was seen crossing the waters. Ruma went beside him and placed her hands just like him.

*You come here often?*Asked Ruma.

*Yes. So, what did you say you discovered about your ancestry?*Said Severus.

She laughed at his question, considering they just had seen Lucius, and she shook her head.

*Yeah, I'm a descendant of the Malfoy family. Lucius and I share a common ancestor. I'm pretty sure that's the reason he is rich. The vampire Vlad probably gave our ancestor lands, considering he was a wizard, and perhaps he found a woman pretty enough and she had a child, although with no magical powers. If she had, she never went to Hogwarts.*Said Ruma.

*Hmph. Miss Malfoy.*Said Severus with a grin.

She nudged his elbow and they laughed again. They watched the sun disappear and the coolness of the night taking place.

*How can you not have the Trace on you?*Asked Severus.

*Because Seth asked the ministry worker to remove it. It's Mafalda Hopkirk, we had her as a teacher two years ago.*Said Ruma.

*Why would she even do that?*Asked Severus, frowning.

Ruma grinned.

*Vincent… he works at the ministry. He makes laws, or make sure vampire laws are being followed and works in collaboration with the justice system within the ministry. Let's just say Mme Hopkirk likes vampires a bit too much.*Said Ruma.

*I see.*Said Severus.

They stayed in silence for a moment, looking at the lights of the city.

*Do you want to do that again tomorrow?*Asked Ruma as she shifted towards him.

Severus turned also turned so they were now facing each other. Her green eyes reflected the dim light of the bridge, and she was biting her bottom lip.

*Do what?*Asked Severus quietly.

She had gone closer to his body. The hand that had stayed on the bridge's edge went over his and was soft over his skin. He could smell her shampoo and he could feel something hammering his chest. Was that his heart? Last thing he heard was a barely audible 'This' from her lips before they touched his own. His stomach filled with butterflies and warmth. A girl had actually kissed him, and it was not Lily. He brushed the thought aside and placed his arms around Ruma, pulling her closer. Their first kiss ended after a short moment, and they stared at each other for another second before Ruma placed her head against his chest.

*I like you a lot, Sev.* Said Ruma softly.

She listened to his breathing and his heart beating against her ear. He only hugged her tighter in answer.

*Where do you want to go?*Asked Ruma.

*Can… Can I see your house?*Asked Severus.

She pulled away from him and frowned.

*You mean Vulken's castle? What about your parents, do you need to warn them?*Asked Ruma.

*Right, -I don't have to warn them.*Said Severus darkly.

Ruma reached into her handbag and brought out a pen.

*It's a portkey, for the moment I was ready to go home or… an emergency.*Said Ruma.

Severus reached for the pen, holding her hand at the same time. She smiled at him as she activated it by pressing the button on top and whispering the password.

They apparated in the Vulken's living room. Severus looked around, impressed by the size and beauty, until his eyes landed on Seth, feeding on a woman. He stepped back, revulsed by the sight. Seth stopped and licked the wound as he stared mockingly at the newcomer with his eyes as black as coal. The servant bowed before leaving. Ruma excused herself and took Severus's hand to bring him elsewhere, but Seth stopped her.

*Ruma. I gave you freelance for this summer, and not even one day has passed and you already bring boys here? That portkey was for emergencies, I will not give you another one.*Said Seth as he gave her a severe look.

*I know they don't come here anymore! As a matter of fact, we came across a dozen deatheaters. Greyback and Malfoy were there. They let us go because Lucius recognised us.*Said Ruma.

*Any of you two knows anything?*Thought Seth for Danyck and Corban.

*I was there.*Thought Danyck the same time Corban responded negatively.

*We shall speak later, Danyck. In person.*Thought Seth.

The mental exchange was as long as an exhale. Seth stared at the boy with narrowed eyes.

*What's your name, boy?*Asked Seth as he crept up his mind with subtlety.

Severus winced. Did he feel that? Was that boy a natural Occlumens? Or was it because of something else?

*Severus Snape.*Stated Severus.

Seth saw briefly a muggle screaming at him 'BOY' in his thoughts and a woman crying. That boy hated muggles. It was blurry and he could not decipher his thoughts correctly.

*Who's your mother?*Asked Seth.

Severus broke eye contact. He regretted following Ruma.

*I'd like to leave.*Said Severus.

Seth walked to Severus and grabbed his chin. He flinched at his touch. Ruma had not let go of Severus's hand, and Seth turned his head at Ruma.

*How exactly was he supposed to leave the castle, Ruma?*Sneered Seth.

*House-elf magic?*Asked Ruma innocently.

At least she did not answer by apparition. Seth huffed then looked at Severus again, who swallowed.

*Answer me.*Ordered Seth.

*Eileen Prince.*Muttered Severus precipitately.

Seth let go of his chin and sniffed.

*No one important, yet you feel pride when you think of her. Makes me wonder where comes your hatred towards muggles. Would your father be one?*Asked Seth.

*How would you know that?*Asked Severus quietly.

*I'm a vampire, I feel people. I also make deductions that gets confirmed by themselves, like you just did.*Said Seth with a sneer.

Ruma let go of Severus's hand and went to place herself between him and Seth.

*Why are you so interested in him? Can't we just go to sleep? We will leave tomorrow morning.*Said Ruma.

*Hmph.*Said Seth.

The prince went to sit on the sofa and Padry apparated and served him wine. He stared at the teenagers as he drank. Ruma rolled her eyes and took Severus's hand again and pulled him out of the living room. She went to her room after showing Severus one of the guest one he could take. She waved her wand and spoke the Muffliato spell.

*I'm sorry, Sev. I did not know he had not left the castle. He's rarely there because of his work at the ministry.*Said Ruma.

She went by the window and Severus was looking around the giant bedroom. A few artefacts were floating, pictures of her with Rosanne and Regulus were on display on furniture, drawings of dragons were on her walls and a painting of a woman was half done on an easel.

*You like to draw and paint? Who's that?*Asked Severus, pointing at the painting.

*Oh, yeah. That's my mother. She works with my father now. As you can guess, my summers were now always with Seth, until today.*Said Ruma with a sigh.

Severus turned his head towards her.

*Why not in Egypt?*Asked Severus.

Shit.

*Right. Look, Sev. You know too much. I should not have brought you here, and now I'm afraid Seth will want Corban to obliviate my only friend I confided in. I did not think about the consequences when we saw the deatheaters nor when…*Began Ruma.

*We kissed. (…) Do you regret it?*Asked Severus.

Ruma sighed in frustration.

*No! That was not even what I was going to say. Our kiss was beautiful, well I liked it. AHH! That's the one thing I don't like about you, you never react when I tell you a secret anyone would either be scared or tell everyone, or never want to talk with me again! You change subject or completely avoid it as if it was not important.*Said Ruma as she sat on the bed and made a pout.

*You want me to do all those things?*Said Severus with a smile in the corner of his mouth.

She rolled her eyes and there was a silence for a moment. Severus took that time to look closer at her drawings.

*Does your father hit you, or your mother?*Asked Ruma in a barely audible whisper.

Severus stayed silent again, which only meant his father did either, or both.

*Can Seth do magic?*Asked Severus as he turned to stare in her green eyes for the truth.

A secret for a secret.

But, he could not know that. He must not know that. Ruma stood up and quickly took her wand and pointed it at Severus, her lip trembling. No matter her answer, her hesitation would have betrayed her. He moved his hand and Ruma screamed.

*DON'T!*Yelled Ruma. *Please, don't make me do this.*She pleaded.

*You… you don't have to. Look at the artefacts above your head, you do know what they are for, right?*Said Severus with agitation.

One was for enemies, the other detected lies, deceit, and treason. Ruma looked up, the blurriness of tears in her eyes made her unable to see a difference, but they were unsettled, and calm. She looked again at Severus and tried to take a deep breath. Her throat was constricted as she tried to speak.

*Seth is… was giving me private lessons during the summer. I know his ties with Voldemort are scarce, but there was a time where deatheaters and him would frequently come here. You know what's happening, you are smarter than anyone I know at Hogwarts. Voldemort's forces are increasing everyday, and although Vampires claim to be neutral, they are not. I have this… this burden, by birth, of being the vampire's princess because Seth sired my mother the second I was born. This, you already know, but now that faces me in only one future and abide by Seth's coming reign as King and siding with that Dark Lord.*Blurted out Ruma, her wand now down by her side.

No more secrets with him. She felt a heavy load coming off her shoulders, and tears continued to flow on her cheeks.

*That seemed way too much to bear alone.*Said Severus warmly.

She took a deep breath and wiped her tears with her hand.

*Thank you, Sev. I still want you to swear you will never knowingly reveal anything I told you.*Said Ruma.

*I do. I'd expect the same from you.*Said Severus.

Ruma went to him and hugged him tightly, her face buried in his chest.

*Undoubtedly.*Mumbled Ruma.

Severus caressed her hair to soothe her.

*You know… I'm not against the Dark Lord's views. There are several at school already planning to join his cause, or rather… to have recognition and power.*Said Severus quietly.

His voice vibrated against her ear, and she closed her eyes.

*I know. Last year, I was approached by many 7th year students for that reason. The ones where their families did not have ties with deatheaters. I had to owl Lucius several times with a coded message. I even went out of bounds of school for that, and it was not the only time I actually had to go out of bounds at night.*Said Ruma.

Severus pushed her gently by the shoulders and stared at her.

*You already do things for the Dark Lord?*Asked Severus with a voice that could not hide his fascination.

*Not... not like you think. I simply do deals with students that happens to… well, that it ends up being for him. I'm not even sure if he knows or if Lucius takes it all on him. I could not care less anyway. I still have to be very careful, and not actually bring wannabe aurors or spies… it's stressful. I'm never caught anyway because part of my deals implies a magical contract when it is too dangerous for me.*Said Ruma.

*How… I mean… I don't doubt how smart you are, but…*Began Severus.

She blushed and shook her head.

*Oh… don't think it's all on me. Seth and Gellert have a lot to do with this.*Said Ruma.

He looked at her for a moment in silence then let go of her shoulders and went towards the door.

*Good night, Ruma. Thank you for today.*Said Severus.

She nodded.

*You too.*She answered.

He opened the door, breaking the privacy charm and left before closing the door behind him. She went to her private bathroom before throwing herself on her bed.

OoOoO

Seth waited in the garden for Danyck to arrive. He looked up at the night sky where half a moon crescent shone brightly in between clouds. A fast red blur came at the horizon and Danyck landed in front of Seth almost without a sound, if it had not been for the gush of wind, he produced making his hair fly briefly. Danyck removed his mask, which was covering his whole face. His hood was already down because of his flying. His green eyes seemed to glow in the dark, and Seth wondered if it was due to the intensive use of his abilities.

Seth opened wide his mind to Danyck and consumed it entirely, wanting to know what happened and also showing him no childe could hide from their sire, no matter their mental defenses.

And he felt it.

The agony, the lust for power, the yearn for destruction.

How could the creature loving, shy, and undecisive man he had sire become so dangerous? He had felt it in the mountains, the terrible power he owned. Killing anyone at a distance without uttering a word. Seth went close to him and cupped his face with his hands.

*Danyck.*Said Seth quietly. *Have I ignored you that much?*Thought Seth.

*You did.*Answered Danyck both in mind and his mouth.

Seth closed his eyes as Danyck showed him the past year. How Danyck trained relentlessly, alone, until he could fly, until he could move heavy objects without getting tired. But, also, how Seth had blocked him multiple times, because of how busy he was at the ministry, how he had ignored his pleas to do something, anything, about his urging deep desire to kill. Danyck had even gone to multiple forests and hunted animals. He had gone to Darthael and the multiple vampire clubs around London in hope to feel something as strong as the killing.

But he never could. And sought Voldemort.

Seth let go of his face and took his left arm, bringing up his sleeve to his elbow. The dark mark was jet black on his skin with redness around it, as if done the same day or day before. Seth had not felt his pain. He stared at him with a light disgust.

*How could you do that to yourself? To be his… thing, -when you were already mine. You are a Vulken, and now, if the ministry or aurors capture you, or if they know you are a vampire, you will abide to our laws. You do know what my father will have to do to you, right?*Hissed Seth almost in Parseltongue.

Seth's stomach churned at the thought of losing a childe, and he looked away from Danyck as he let go of his arm. Danyck grabbed Seth's chin and made him look at him again.

*So, you do care. You made it all seem like you never did, especially after you sired Corban. You forgot about me, just like you forgot about Gellert.*Spat Danyck.

Seth yanked Danyck's hand away from his chin.

*THE KING WILL HAVE TO KILL YOU DANYCK! IF IT'S NOT THE AURORS, THE MINISTRY, ME OR EVEN VOLDEMORT, YOU WILL HAVE TO DIE. YOU PLAY WITH SOMETHING DANGEROUS IF YOU DON'T CONTROL YOUR PULSES!*Shouted Seth with anger and a tinge of sorrow.

His voice was loud in the night and made the nearby windows shake. Danyck had flinched at the power he lashed out and stepped back. Danyck frowned, then regained composure and looked at Seth with anger.

*I would not have to hide if Voldemort ruled Britain! I would not have to hide if vampires showed their true intent! You clearly support him by wearing that thing around your neck! How long until the ministry finds out what you really are? Hiding your tail all the time now, even in your own home!*Said Danyck.

The truth of Danyck's words stung like needles on his skin. Danyck continued, pointing a finger at him.

*You should not have to hide… you, among anyone. You should be the one to rule Britain, or at least, be the King already. Every vampire whispers around and you don't even hear them. I have read many stories in my youth. Heroes, villains, rulers, conquerors… you were born a powerful vampire wizard, with the heart of a King and yet, you seem lost. What are you waiting for?*Finished Danyck.

He felt his tail twitch under his clothes. He had to hide it so often, he never bothered letting it loose now. It was part of him, part of his abnormality… and he had to hide it. It had been useful during the vampire war. Maybe he should remove the goblin weapon on it. He untucked his shirt and untangled his tail around him. A spasm of pain short through his spine as it freed itself. He swore under his breath and began to untie the weapon. Danyck looked at him silently and smiled. With the weapon in his hands, his body quickly readjusted to the weight change, but he felt freer, nonetheless. He brought out his wand and cast a disillusion spell on his tail which disappeared. Unless someone clearly looked for it, they would not see it. He could not have done it with the goblin weapon, but without it, there was no stopping him.

*I was… I wanted vampires to be considered as equals to wizards, since we are powerful creatures too, and, just like goblins, we have our nation, laws, and can work among them. Voldemort… we are…, we were friends. He wants to be the most powerful sorcerer in the world and have no one stopping him. So, he wants Dumbledore to die, and the ministry under his rule. So that's what's happening right now. Creating chaos, and eliminating aurors and opposing families like flies.*Said Seth with a sigh.

*See? You don't sound like you want that too.*Said Danyck.

*I was the one to give it to him, Danyck. The right to do as he pleases, to use me. I made him beg for it! He knows it. And he took the opportunity to mark you, and succeeding into using me.(…) Ah!*Hissed Seth, looking at his bleeding hand.

The goblin weapon had been in his hands, and as he talked, he had made hand gestures towards himself and had sliced his left hand unintentionally with the weapon. The protective enchantments were apparently no longer effective when he had removed it from his tail.

*Fuck. You smell so good.*Thought Danyck.

Seth ignored Danyck and brought out his wand from his sleeve and healed his hand. The long gash slowly closed, reattaching nerves and skin.

*Padry.*Said Seth and a house-elf popped in front of him.

*Yes, sir?*Squeaked the voice of Padry.

Seth carefully gave the weapon to Padry.

*Careful with it, bring it to my bedroom and place it on a display under antitheft enchantments.*Ordered Seth.

*Will do, sir.*Said the house-elf and apparated away.

*You ignored me again.*Said Danyck, crossing his arms.

Seth looked at Danyck confused for a second, before his childe showed him his desire to drink his blood.

*I did not think you needed this from me.*Said Seth.

Danyck scoffed and shook his head.

*You really don't get it. You think Darthael will not come see you again after you let him taste your blood? Do you refuse Corban too?*Asked Danyck as emotions constricted his throat.

No. He never did. The prince sighed and opened his arms where Danyck found refuge. The childe moved his left hand along Seth's cheek and slid behind his head, burying the fingers in the whitest softest hair he knew as his mouth came in contact with the prince's neck. A light flick of his tongue went on the skin before he sank his teeth in sire's neck. A surprising intense wave of pleasure went through Seth.

*Enjoui ha, nin methal mel.*Thought Danyck in Venthyr.

Seth never knew his childe had such skills, and his mind went fuzzy, lost in the moment. Somewhere he could also feel Danyck being relieved of a gnawing hunger, as if it had been too long he had waited for this. Danyck only drank for a moment, then lovingly licked the wound. He stepped back, then placed his mask on his face again. Seth took a deep breath, calming his body of whatever Danyck made him feel.

*Danyck. Please be careful. Until Voldemort succeeds… I would not want something to happen to you.*Said Seth calmly.

Danyck turned around ran to the edge of the cliff and jumped, taking flight and leaving the island.

Venthyr meaning.

Enjoui ha, nin methal mel

Enjoy it, my eternal love.
