Bullet with Butterfly Wings

Cassidy was angry. Well, more than angry. Far, far more than angry.

Cassidy wanted blood.

Specifically, the blood of the one who killed her and stuffed her body inside an animatronic bear, effectively trapping her soul in the mortal plane for eternity and unable to pass on. Not that she wanted to. No, what she wanted was something entirely different.

She wanted to kill him.

She wanted to kill him.

She wanted to kill him.

She wanted to make him suffer, as he had made her suffer before he ended her life.

Rage was all that she could feel and, if she had a body that she could use, she would scream.

"Hello." A person with white hair and blue eyes suddenly encompassed her vision, crouching down to be at eye-level with the decrepit animatronic.

Kill.

"Ah, you don't want to kill me. Or, more specifically, you can't." The person smiled, yet it didn't quite reach their eyes. "You don't remember me, do you?"

Cassidy could not remember. All Cassidy could do was feel and all she felt was murderous rage.

"I warned you. To not follow the rabbit." The person crossed their arms and placed them over their knees, resting their chin at the very top.

An image of a massive snake filled Cassidy's mind. Ah. The dream. Cassidy had forgotten. Cassidy's eyes focused on the person, no entity, before her. Why was it here? What did it want?

"It isn't about what I want. What do you want?" Cassidy didn't even have to contemplate it.

Revenge. The entity smiled at Cassidy, apparently satisfied with the answer given.

"I like you." It said, "I'm going to help you, although, you may not like the terms."

Terms?

"Yes. I will give you your revenge. Even now, pieces are being put into place so that your killer will meet his end. Once he does, you can do with him what you like for as long as you like. However long it takes for you to be satisfied."

Cassidy had no complaints, so far.

"However, for as long as you torment him, your soul will not know rest. You will be in Hell with him. He will never know peace, but neither shall you. Are you okay with this?" Once again, Cassidy did not feel the need to contemplate or hesitate.

GIVE. IT. TO ME.

GIVE ME MY REVENGE.

"Very well." The entity smiled and reached out a hand to touch the top of the animatronic's head. Cassidy felt a pulse of energy go through the animatronic and within her very soul. She almost felt alive. Almost.

"When the time comes, you'll know what to do." The entity stood and, as they walked away, seemed to fade into thin air.

So, Cassidy waited. Patiently, patiently, waited.

Waited for the time to strike.
