House of Payoffs:
Joy stood face to face with the man in the raincoat. Joy was afraid of the man and didn't know what he wanted from her.
"Who are you? I don't have any money with me," said Joy.
"But I do. I come for the domino stones," said the man in the raincoat.
"Yes, the stones," said Joy, nervously.
Joy took the box with the stones from her bag and handed them to the man.
"10,000 pounds as agreed, if you don't believe me just count it," said the man in the raincoat.
Joy started counting and when she looked up the man was gone. Joy put the money in her purse and walked away and headed towards the school.
In the meantime at school. Eddie sat defeated in his chair. Jerome and Alfie walked up to Eddie and Jerome handed Eddie a note.
"What is this?" Asked Eddie.
"This is tonight's shopping list," said Jerome.
"Yes, because you're going to cook tonight, dressed as Trudy," teased Alfie.
"Cut it out you guys," said Eddie.
"Look at it from the positive side. You only lost by 24 eggs, so if you eat those tonight, at least you saved your honor," teased Jerome.
"But then he has to cook them himself," said Alfie.
"Yes, dressed as Trudy, teased Jerome.
Jerome and Alfie laughed even harder and Eddie got up and planned to go home, but went to Cameron first.
"Cameron I was wrong, eating eggs is harder than I thought. You beat me honestly, congratulations," said Eddie, as he reached his hand out to Cameron.
"I don't shake hands with losers like you. Four eggs, my four-year-old nephew can do it even better and then open a big mouth at me," said Cameron.
"I apologized, so I'm done here, so I'm going home," said Eddie, as he walked towards the exit.
"Of course run away, I'm used to that. You're a good-for-nothing and unlike me you'll never achieve anything in that pathetic little life of yours," said Cameron.
"Hey you don't talk to him like that, said an angry Patricia, as she walked over to Cameron.
"What do you mean?" Asked Cameron.
"Listen up real closely, Eddie is a big idiotic numbskull, but that big idiotic numbskull is my boyfriend and I won't let you dictate to him like that," said Patricia.
Both Cameron and Eddie were speechless. Cameron left without saying a word. Eddie walked over to Patricia.
"Thank you for standing up for me," said Eddie.
"You may be a big idiotic numbskull, but you're my big idiotic numbskull," said Patricia.
"And you're my Yacker," said Eddie.
"I better be," said Patricia.
"I'm just going home now," said Eddie.
"Eddie wait up," said Patricia
"What is it?" Asked Eddie.
"Don't forget the groceries," teased Patricia.
Patricia gave Eddie a kiss on the cheek and walked out of the drama room with the club.
A few moments later. The man in the raincoat was back in the cabin in the woods and handed the dominoes to the sick man.
"Everything went according to plan, the little fish took the bait, said the man in the raincoat.
"Great, said the sick man, as he inspected the box with the domino stones.
"Then we can finally put her to work. The Mask of Anubis will soon be ours," said the man in the raincoat.
"But the little fish cheated us. This game is incomplete, stones are missing," said the sick man.
"What?" Asked the man in the raincoat.
"Get Joy here! She won't get away with this," said the sick man.
"Take it easy! I'll get them right away. Joy won't get away with this," said the man in the raincoat.
In the meantime at school. Fabian was in the chemistry class and was putting something together. Fabian was doing calculations and all sorts of tests and at the end he seemed happy with the results.
At that same time. Jerome and Mara were in the computer room, looking at Trudy's profile.
"Look at this one. He's 87, doesn't come out anymore and likes to sit on the sofa," said Mara.
"So you don't think he is suitable?" Asked Jerome.
"No, this man is much too old for Trudy," said Mara.
"Then let's look further," said Jerome.
Jerome went looking for another profile, while Mara looked with him.
"Here, this man is 53, he likes sushi, rope dancing and camping naked. I say this is the ideal man," joked Jerome.
"And I say you're crazy. This is given us nothing to work with," said Mara.
"We don't really have much choice," said Jerome.
"That's true, but we've to come up with a nice and normal person or we don't do it at all," said Mara.
"Okay, I've got an idea if you, me, Alfie and Otis sit down together and go through each profile and then we each make a top 5 with our favorites, suggested Jerome.
"Then let's do that, because I don't know anything better," said Mara.
"Let's meet up tonight in my room," said Jerome.
"Okay," said Mara.
Jerome shut down the computer and left the computer room with Mara.
In the meantime, Otis walked down the hall and Joy walked over to him.
"Otis," said Joy.
Otis stopped walking and turned to Joy.
"I've the money," said Joy.
"What?" Asked Otis.
Joy took the envelope of money from her purse and handed it to Otis.
"It's exactly 10.000 pounds," said Joy.
"How did you get that?" Asked Otis.
"It's an inheritance," lied Joy.
"Is someone dead?" Asked Otis.
"Uh, yes a great aunt from New Zealand, I don't even know her," lied Joy.
"Exactly 10.000 pounds, that's quite a coincidence," said Otis.
"Sometimes you're just lucky in life," said Joy.
Otis handed the envelope back to Joy.
"What are you doing? Asked Joy.
"It's your money, said Otis.
"Otis please take the money, said Joy.
"I can't take it, said Otis.
"You have to or else Jeremiah will hurt you, said Joy.
"And that's my problem, said Otis.
"Now is not the time for your weird manly honor. Please take the money," said Joy.
"I solve my own problems," said Otis.
Otis walked away, leaving Joy behind. Joy put the envelope in her back and followed Otis.
At the same time in the house. Victor Jr. was brewing something.
"With this remedy I will soon get one of those amulets," said Victor jr.
"You're wasting your time, the kids aren't in the house, so neither are the amulets. They train and you should too," said Victor sr.
"Just wait, father, as soon as they get home, I'll get an amulet," said Victor jr.
Victor Sr. disappeared again and Victor continued with his brew.
In the meantime. The club minus Fabian were jogging toward the abandoned buildings. When the club arrived they saw Fabian standing over an canvas
"Hey Fabian," said Aaron.
"What is that?" Asked Nina.
"Is it a bed?" Asked Amber.
"No, this is going to help us train," said Fabian.
Fabian removed the canvas and showed his construction. It was a white mat, with circles on it and a sirene and a scale were attached to it.
"I recreated the practice so we can practice safely," said Fabian.
"It looks like Twister," said Aaron.
"This is not just Twister, this is for 6 of exactly 100 kilos, the perfect balance," said Fabian.
"Is why you need that stuff you asked for?" Asked Alfie.
"Yes," said Fabian.
"What do need actually, that bag was very heavy," said Alfie.
"What are you complaining, I brought that bag for you," said Aaron.
"I packed it," said Alfie.
"Guys, no bickering I'm going to explain how it works, because in the tunnel it can't go wrong," said Fabian.
"No, otherwise we'll be crushed," said Nina.
"I think that's scary and I don't like it," said Amber.
"Don't worry, if it works well here, it will certainly work in the tunnel," said Fabian.
Fabian began to explain what was going on and the club listened intently.
In the meantime. Otis was near school and was with Jeremiah.
"I almost got it together really," said Otis.
"You've had enough time," said Jeremiah.
"I just need a little more time, I can do it," said Otis.
"You can't do it anyway and we both know that," said Jeremiah.
Jeremiah grabbed the baseball bat, ready to swing it at and Otis got scared. Joy came running up.
"Stop!" Shouted Joy.
"Go away. Please don't interfere," said Otis.
"One step closer and the same happens to you as your boyfriend here," said Jeremiah.
"Put that thing down, said Joy, as she walked closer towards Otis and Jeremiah.
"I warn you sunshine," said Jeremiah.
"Joy please no," said Otis.
"I've the money," said Joy
Joy pulled the envelope from her bag and Jeremiah walked over to her and Joy gave Jeremiah the envelope.
"Look at that, at least she knows what business is," said Jeremiah.
Jeremiah put the envelope in his pocket and walked away. Otis walked over to Joy.
"But that's your inheritance," said Otis.
"That is not important. I had to help you," said Joy.
"I'm sorry I acted this way towards you," said Otis
"It does not matter," said Joy.
"I had no choice," said Otis.
"I understand that," said Joy
Otis and Joy said nothing and just started at each other. Otis leaned forward and kissed Joy and she kissed him back. Otis and Joy pulled way and smiled at each other.
"Does this mean that everything is alright between us again?" Asked Joy.
"Yeah," said Otis
"I'm so happy, to have you back," said Joy.
"I'm going to pay you back. I'm going to get a job," said Otis.
"You don't have to, use that money for something else important," said Joy.
"What is that?" Asked Otis.
"Go buy your cameras back, because with those cameras you are fully Otis again," said Joy.
Otis laughed and took Joy's hand and they walked back to the house together.
Later that day. Eddie was in the kitchen cooking, Patricia came into the kitchen with in her hands clothes similar to Trudy's and a black wig.
"You forgot something," said Patricia.
"Do I really have to do that?" Asked Eddie.
"That was the deal," said Patricia.
Eddie didn't look happy and Patricia pulled him to his room and handed him the stuff. While no one was paying attention, Victor Jr. crept into the kitchen. Victor Jr. took a bottle from his jacket pocket and put the remedy through the food. When the bottle was empty, Victor Jr. walked back to the cellar.
An hour later and the residents were seated at the table. Eddie came into the living room dressed as Trudy with a pot of pasta. Otis who had bought his camera back started taking pictures and residents burst out laughing.
"Trudy you look so wonderful tonight, did you do something with your hair?" Joked Aaron.
"Hey Trudy are you still looking for a guy?" Joked Jerome.
"Sorry Jerome, you're not my type," joked Eddie.
The residents started scooping up the food and started eating right away. Alfie liked it, the other residents didn't like it. But what the residents did not realize that they were being watched by Victor Jr. and had seen that everyone had started eating. With an sly grin on his face, Victor jr. went back to the cellar and continued his training.
After dinner Eddie and KT were in the kitchen doing the dishes together.
"Thanks for wanting to help me," said Eddie.
"No problem Trudy," teased KT.
"Admit it, I look so much like Trudy right now," said Eddie.
"Yes, but not when it comes to your cooking skills," said KT.
"I admit I'm not a kitchen hero like Trudy," said Eddie.
Victor Jr entered the kitchen and walked over to Eddie and KT.
"And did our new Trudy cooked well?" Asked Victor jr.
"Trudy's brother Mario cooked," said KT.
"Mario? Who is Mario?" Asked Victor jr.
"Pizzeria Mario," said Eddie.
"We had to order pizzas because the food was inedible and I wasn't the only one who thought that because all those plates went straight into the trash," said KT.
"At least Alfie liked it," said Eddie.
"But Alfie likes al food, so it wasn't too hard for him to eat your inedible pasta," said KT.
"So Alfie did eat?" Asked Victor jr.
"Yes, two plates full," said KT.
Victor Jr. was happy, because now he could easily steal Alfie's amulet.
Half an hour later. Alfie entered his room and lay down on his bed and fell asleep. A few seconds later, Victor Jr. entered the room. Victor Jr. sat down next to Alfie's bed and tried to remove his amulet from his neck. Suddenly Alfie opened his eyes and looked wide-eyed at Victor Jr.
Did Alfie realize what Victor Jr was up to? Will Alfie save his amulet or will Victor Jr. get it anyway?
