It was late a night as Akemi was in her room sketching. She stop moving her pencil and examined her sketchbook. Happy to see the results, Akemi was ready to show it to Aster. She look at all three designs of the outfits, imagining his reaction.

"I can't wait to show it to him. I'll bring it tomorrow." Akemi said getting ready to sleep.

Time-Skip to Next Morning at the Office

Akemi was in her office preparing for today's meeting. She grab her laptop, pen, and folders ready as she her office. As Akemi was walking, she was thinking about the situation she's in as it made her nervous. She felt like Aster asked her about Jesse.

"Why did he asked me about Jesse? He probably find out that we're seeing each other but how if I didn't tell him. I don't think Jesse told him about me." Akemi said to herself.

She really wanted to go with Jesse at the Kaiba Dome. He want to hangout with her and was nice giving her a ticket. Also, it's probably expensive as it includes having a private room,a great view from the duel and other services. Akemi couldn't say no and can't let a ticket like that go to waste.

On the other hand, there was Aster as he help her many times. She genuinely likes him and never wants to hurt in any way. Especially, when he's changing and trying to be nice to her at work. Akemi wanted to see Aster's duels to cheer him on and excited to see his duels. She can't deny the fact that she's now a fan of him thanks to the Phoentix fandom and the constant tweets on Chitter. Guilt took over as she didn't want Aster to see her with Jesse in his duels. It just doesn't look right and it would mistaken as a date. Knowing his personality, he has a short temper and easily will get jealous. What's worst is Jesse and Aster are friends which may ruined their friend relationship as well as their friend group.

"Agr! Why is this so complicated?!" Akemi angrily said.

Akemi was lost in thought that she bumped into someone as they both fell down on the floor. She still has her laptop and folders on her hand. She looked at the person she bumped into.

It was a young man who is around Akemi's age. His short poofy sky blue spiky messy hair with weird bangs but his hair color complements his fair skin. He had innocent lime green eyes with small round glasses. He was tall and looked somewhat skinny. Wearing a royal blue long sleeve shirt with a charcoal vest over it and dark grey tie underneath the vest. His charcoal vest was matching his slack pants while wear formal leather black shoes.

Some of his paperwork is scattered on the floor as he looked at Akemi. Shy, he quickly looked away and picked up his paperwork. Akemi put her stuff to the side and help the man.

"I'm sorry, I didn't pay attention where I was going." Akemi said giving him the paperwork.

"Iii... it's fine. Thank you." He said fixing the paperwork and put it in the folders.

"Your welcome." Akemi said grabbing her things as the man stood up.

"Here, let me help you" He said reaching his hand out to her.

"Thanks." Akemi said smiling and grabbing his hand.

"Umm... yeah. You're welcome." He said pulling Akemi up and blushing.

Jaden came by seeing Akemi with blue hair man. This made him curious and walked towards them.

"Hey guys." Jaden said as they both turned to him.

"Hey Jaden. You came with your manager." Akemi said as the blue hair man looked confused.

"Yup. Thanks again for letting us to have the meeting here, Akemi." Jaden said.

"Don't thank me, I just do my work and Mr. Phoenix accept it. You should be worried about anything unless you annoyed him." Akemi said as Jaden laugh.

"Umm... Jay." The blue haired man said as Jaden turned to him.

"Oh hey Sy. You manage to came after all. I was worried that you might be too busy." Jaden said smiling.

'Sy?' Akemi ponder herself looking at the blue haired man.

"Yeah, I need to come in. I hope that it isn't too complicated." He said in worried.

"No worries, I promise that this meeting will benefit you." Jaden said patting the man's shoulder.

"Ahem, aren't you going to introduce me to him." Akemi said as both men forget that she was still there.

"Oh Akemi, this is my friend Syrus Truesdale. Sy this is Akemi Ayuna, the secretary of this company." Jaden introduce to each other.

"Hello Syrus, it's nice to meet you." Akemi said extended her hand out for a handshake.

"You too Akemi." Syrus said as they both shake hands.

"So, are we late Akemi?" Jaden asked as she checked the time.

"No, your just three minutes early until nine but we better get going until Mr. Phoenix will lose his patience." Akemi said.

"*laughs* Right, let's hurry before we get scolded by Aster." Jaden said as they laughed.

They all walked together as they were heading the meeting room. Jaden opened the door as Akemi went in first then Syrus and Jaden. There were some people there sitting. Jaden sees his manager and sat next to him. Akemi was putting each folder for everyone on the table. Syrus remember that he forgot his laptop and wasn't in his car.

"Great, I knew I forgot something." He said as Akemi overheard him.

"Is something wrong?" Akemi asked as Syrus was stressing out.

"Yeah, I forgot my laptop at my workplace." Syrus replied.

"Just used my laptop." Akemi said.

"What about you? Don't you need it." Syrus asked worried that Akemi might get in trouble

"It's fine. I'll write it down and type it later. After the meeting, I don't have anything to do."

Akemi said giving it to him.

"Thanks Akemi. If it's fine for you, can I sit next to you? I am using your laptop after all and I wouldn't want to make you worried." Syrus asked.

"Sure." Akemi said as the both sat down next to each other.

Soon, people were coming in as the filled up the seat. Until the last person came in and sat down, they started the meeting. They were discussing way to befitting each company's profit. Akemi listened as she wrote down everything that they discussed. Syrus was typing on Akemi's laptop writing the important details. At times, he looked at Akemi as she was way to focus multitasking. He was impressed by her work ethic as he never seen someone who works their hardest while having a disadvantage. They brought up the income of each company.

"Since we discussed ways to profit the partnership. We need to check our income to see how much budget we have for this project." Derek state as the others nodded.

"Who's has the information?" Jaden asked.

"Akemi has the income revenue in her documents." Derek said as everyone turned to her.

"Akemi mind showing us the document." Aster asking his secretary.

"It's in the folders that I left each one of you on the table. I print every copy to the income, taxes, and statistics from each company." Akemi said finishing to write everything down as everyone grab the folders in front of them and opened it.

'Woah, she really came prepare as backup plan. I never seen someone who on their top of their game. How can she handle like that?' Syrus ponder himself surprised to see the amount of effort Akemi did.

"You sure that the folder you gave us has all the information from the document files?" Chazz asked refusing to believe Akemi's words.

"Everything is in the folder, Mr. Princeton. The information is up to date." Akemi said as everyone else looked in the folder.

"Do you hear yourself? There's no way you have the time to have all the data and print everything out for everyone in the room. This got to be a joke." Chazz said as it ticked Akemi off.

'Calm down Akemi, he's just an arrogant asshole that's all.' Akemi ponder herself trying to relax.

"Think all you want Mr. Princeton, but I don't joke around when it comes to my work." Akemi said having a dark aura around her as the others were nervous and feeling the tension in the room.

"Uh oh, you may want to take back what you said Mr. Princeton. You don't want Akemi to be your enemy." Derek said warning the black spiky hair man.

"Yeah Chazz, this isn't the best time to argue especially you criticizing her work ethic." Jaden said trying to call down the situation.

"Jaden how are you going to tell that she did all that? She's lying and is slacking off and find shortcuts or did a terrible job." Chazz said as Akemi's anger rises hearing coming out this prick's mouth.

"She's not Chazz. Everything is in the folder, see." Jaden said looking through the paperwork in the folders and showing one of the paperwork.

"Jaden don't defend her and you couldn't understand what was written in the papers." Chazz said which annoyed Jaden.

"Mr. Princeton don't insult Mr. Yuki. I can resure you that everything is in the folder." Akemi said as Chazz turn to her.

"Where's your laptop? We need to see the documents that is shown on the board." Chazz asked as Syrus didn't like that Akemi was being scolded because of him.

"I..." Syrus was about to say something until he was interrupt.

"I left it at home. So just in case that happens, I print it out everything from yesterday morning." Akemi spoke up as Syrus didn't expect her to take the hit for him.

"You did know that we have the meeting today but you can unprepared. That just shows me how much you care about your job." Chazz said get on (Y/N)'s nerves by the last sentence.

"My laptop isn't necessary Mr. Princeton. If you're not happy with it, I'll be more than gladly to give you the flash drive that I downlaod it right here." Akemi said sliding it to Chazz which irritated him.

"For Aster's secretary, I expected you to be prepared and be top of your game. The attitude you present yourself would get you fired quickly especially the way you dressed isn't eye appealing to others." Chazz said as Akemi was ready to slap him.

"Chazz that's enough, we don't need her laptop for see the documents. The folders Akemi gave us is more than enough and it's easier for us to understand." Aster said giving his friend the cold glare which frightened Chazz.

"Tch! Fine." Chazz said out of annoyance.

"Let's review each our income and come to an agreement with the budget." Aster said.

Akemi looked at her boss as she didn't expect him to defend her. She was honestly happy to see him stooding up for her. Aster was still talking looked up and noticed Akemi staring at him. Akemi was nervous expecting him to have weird or disgusted expression. Instead he gave her a soft smile which Akemi felt an arrow pierced through her chest. Her cheeks are heating up as it was the cutest smiled he ever had. She returned the gesture giving him a cute smiled and return to writing. Aster's eyes were widened as he didn't expect his secretary to smile again. He found it cute but something was off as the expression reminded him of someone else. He kept talking looking back at the paperwork but at times his eyes were on his secretary.

Two hours passed as the meeting was over and everyone walk out of the room. As Akemi finished writing, Syrus downloaded everything he typed to his flash drive. After he was done he turned to Akemi and gave it to her.

"Thanks again for letting me borrow your laptop. I really feel terrible about what happened. I didn't like Chazz treated you like that " Syrus said.

"It's fine, I dealt people like him so no worries." Akemi said as Syrus stood up.

"Let me make it up to you. How about I can take you out for lunch. It's on me." Syrus said as Akemi smiled delightfully.

"It's a deal." Akemi said.

"Alright, I'll see you in twenty minutes and take you there." Syrus said leaving the room.

Akemi was alone as she looked at her notebook checking everything she wrote make sure if she didn't miss anything. Her boss came in as he forgot his phone. He sees that Akemi was the only one in the room. He looked to see that she had her laptop which raised his eyebrow.

"I thought you left your laptop at home." Aster said which startled Akemi.

"Mr. Phoenix, I didn't see you there. Sorry that I lied, someone forgot their own and lend them mine for this meeting." Akemi explained.

"You know, you could have told me. I would have lend you one of mine." Aster said which made her nervous.

'Damn it! I'm such an idiot! But I didn't expect him to give me one of his laptops.' Akemi ponder herself didn't expect her boss to be understanding.

"Sorry sir. I just thought you wouldn't have a spare." Akemi honestly said feeling nervous for his response.

'She's still not used to my kindness. I brought to myself being so harsh on her.' Aster ponder himself examining her body language.

"It's fine, let me know next time. I don't want my secretary to get scolded by another CEO." Aster said grabbing his phone from the table and headed to the door.

"Thank you." Akemi said as Aster stop and turned to her.

He looked at her as he wasn't expecting her to thank him. Akemi stood up looking directly at Aster.

"For stepping in to defend me. I didn't want to ruin the partnership of this project." Akemi said.

"No problem, I wasn't pleased that my friend insulted you especially you put the effort printing all copies for everyone." Aster said walking towards Akemi facing towards her as they were few feet apart.

"Right, I must be going right now. I'm going on my lunch break." Akemi said grabbing her things and headed to the door.

"Hey, Akemi." Aster said as Akemi stop.

"Yes, Mr. Phoenix?" Akemi said turning back to her boss.

"You should smile more often, it suits you." Aster said which made Akemi blushed.

'He wants me to smile more often.' Akemi ponder herself as her cheeks are pink.

"III...I'll keep that in mind." Akemi said bashfully turn back and left the room.

Alone, Aster thought the way Akemi smiled during the meeting. It make him feel a warm, fuzzy, and bubbly like he could stare at it all day. This feeling is similar to when he's with Bella in the cafe.

"Her smile reminds me like how Bella's smile." Aster said smiling.

Time-Skip to Lunchtime

In a small noodle shop, there were people there as it's a popular place for customers to eat for lunch. A secluded area at the corner, Akemi was sitting there with Syrus as he invited her to lunch. They were eating their food as the were having a conversation.

"You're Aster's secretary, It must be hard to work that position." Syrus said as Akemi drank water.

"Yeah, but I use too it and learn ways to make work easier for me." Akemi said as Syrus ate his noodles.

"No kidding, what you pull off earlier today really surprised me. You're very perpare and somehow managed to not make Aster angry or at least annoyed." Syrus said.

"To be honest, I was expecting the opposite to happen but it didn't. I'm always do everything at work without any distractions and always be perpare. Usually, he wouldn't be understanding or kind towards me." Akemi said which surprised Syrus.

"Wow, even you get scolded by him. That sucks for a hard worker like you." Syrus said sympathizing her.

"Yeah, but he recently stop which it's good for me. I won't have to be stressed or worried if I made any mistakes." Akemi said with made Syrus feeling at ease.

"That's good to hear, I heard stories about people experiencing work with Aster and it wasn't pleasant if things aren't according to plan or refused to follow his rules. I don't know how do you deal with his anger and attitude." Syrus said which made Akemi giggled.

"*giggles* It can be difficult working my boss if something went wrong. Who do you work with?" Akemi asked.

"Oh no, I don't work with anyone. I'm just some guy who owns his company." Syrus replied.

"As expected, are you a Pro Duelist?" Akemi asked.

"Use too, but I'm taking a break." Syrus answered.

"Oh why is that?" Akemi asked.

"Well, I bought a land of area recently because I wanted to own my dueling area to make a name of myself. Recently it's finished construction." Syrus explained which surprised her.

"Congratulations, where is it at?" Akemi asked.

"It's at the side of the cliff near the beach." Syrus replied.

"Near the beach? I thought it would be around here. Why outside the city?" Akemi asked in confusion.

"It's reminds me like I was in duel academy years ago. It sounds silly doesn't it." Syrus replied.

"No, not at all. You just want to relive your memories. I'm just not sure if that's a good place to build there." Akemi said with concerned.

"I was told that it was good place to build especially I already add other things." Syrus said.

"Really, like what?" Akemi asked.

"A shopping area, hotel, a garden, amusement park and other things to keep people occupied." Syrus replied as Akemi was astonished by the list.

'Wow, this guy owns a resort. He could own a small town if he wanted to.' Akemi ponder herself impressed by his work.

"It sounds like you were busy." Akemi said.

"Tell me about it, I thought I couldn't make it today. Thankfully, I have time as I want this partnership to go well." Syrus said feeling worried.

"I see, so what do you want out of this partnership?" Akemi asked out of curiosity.

"I wanted the pro duelists to duel in my arena and get some sponsors. You see, I wanted to get more attention to my dueling area as it was my dream to own one. Right now most of my income is from the amusement park." Syrus explained.

"Is it popular?" Akemi asked.

"Yeah to the point that people from all over the country come here because how big it is and the theme is center around duel monsters." Syrus replied as Akemi remember.

"I heard about that place. It brings happiness and fun to people and it's a popular tourist attraction." Akemi said knowing about it from Chitter and advertising.

"What I'm afraid is that pro duelists wouldn't want to come my arena because of the area and they would double the security." Syrus said.

"Huh, you think that the place is secluded and away from the city which will drove the pro duelists away." Akemi said.

"Yeah, I thought before I built my arena. I should start building a hotel as it was near the beach. It work but I knew sooner or later people would lose interest so I built amusement park. Then, I add more buildings and became one of the best resorts in the country according to the internet." Syrus said.

"Wow, you accomplished a lot. You shouldn't worry about it. If you manage to draw people back to your resort. It wouldn't be a problem to have people come to arena and I bet the pro duelists would want to stay there." Akemi said helping him to build his confidence for his decision.

"You sure?" Syrus asked still worried about his arena.

"I know you can do it." Akemi said with a smile.

"Thanks, Akemi." Syrus said blushing and smiling back.

Time-Skip to Tonight at the Cafe

In the kitchen, Akemi looked at the window door waiting for Aster. She was really excited to show him the sketchbook that she drew the design. She was holding her sketchbook tightly. Aunt Cinder noticed her niece was staring at the window door.

"Akemi are you waiting for Aster?" Cinder asked teasing her niece.

"Huh? No I'm just dozing off that's all." Akemi said getting flustered.

"*giggles* Don't lied to me Akemi, you don't have to denied it." Cinder said smiling.

"I'm not." Akemi deny it.

"Sure, but why do you have your sketchbook?" Cinder asked.

"I want to show Aster some designs that I created. He wanted me to be his tailor." Akemi replied.

"Really? I'm so proud of you sweetie. I hope it this goes well." Cinder said happily.

"Great, especially I have your design ready right here." Akemi said showing her sketchbook to him.

"Cool, can you show it to me?" Aster asked.

"Of course!" Akemi said happily.

"So, what has my fashionista created with my designs?" Aster asked as Akemi sat next to him.

"I took time sketching you designs. Which do you want to start first?" Akemi asked opening her sketchbook.

"The one that is for my up coming duel." Aster replied.

"This is the design. So what do you think?" Akemi asked.

"It looks great, I like it." Aster replied.

"Is there anything you want to add or change?" Akemi asked.

"No it's fine but I do have one question. Are those boots?" Aster asked looked worried.

"Yeah, it's for suits or any that's casual like jeans." Akemi answered.

"They look good because I always seen some at the stores but I never liked the way it was made." Aster said.

"Was it leather by any chance?" Akemi asked.

"Yeah, don't get me wrong I wore loafers and oxfords but I never liked leather boots." Aster explained which Akemi smiled.

"Don't worry, I promise that I won't make the same material like from the stores." Akemi said reassuring him.

"That's a relief." Aster said as Akemi turn the page to the next outfit.

"This is for the interview." Akemi said showing the next outfit.

It was a white leather jacket with black collar shirt and a silver tie underneath the jacket. Having black denim jeans and white tennis shoes with a small black design as it was destiny hero signal.

"I really like this outfit especially the shoes." Aster said which made Akemi happy to hear.

"What's wrong? You don't like it?" Akemi asked worried about the outfit.

"No, it's not that." Aster said starting to laugh.

"Are you laughing?" Akemi asked.

"It's just I didn't expect you design this. You do realize that I'm livestream to my fans." Aster replied.

"Yeah, I thought you'll be livestreaming at home because that's what most influencers and celebrities do." Akemi honestly said.

"You're not wrong Bella. I'll be livestreaming my place at night." Aster said trying to stop laughing.

"Then, what's the problem?" Akemi asked still confused.

"This outfit will make the fangirls go crazy." Aster replied as Akemi realize what he meant.

"Hey, at least they can't complain about it. The Phoentix will be thanking me later." Akemi said.

"How do know my fanbase name?" Aster asked in curiosity.

"I know from Chitter as it was recommend for me." Akemi said blushing and looked away.

"Bella Rhodes are you my fan?" Aster asked which surprised her.

"What?! No!" Akemi yelled having her face turning red.

"*laughs* So you are. I didn't know that you're that type of fan, pervert." Aster said teasing her.

"Hello, Cinder. Bella is showing me the sketches and they great so far." Aster said.

"Oh my, they look wonderful. You did took a lot of effort to make it the best." Cinder said.

"You don't have to hide it. It's cute." Aster said teasing her.

"Shut up!" Akemi yelled as her cheeks turned to pink.

"Did you see or read it not suitable for work about me?" Aster asked still have a smirk on his face.

"Nnnnn... no." Akemi said blushing more.

'Like hell I'm going to be honest to answered that question even though I like it.' Akemi ponder herself.

"Bella, I know you're lying." Aster said moving closer to her.

"I'm not! I... III just st... ttttumbled across it... ttt." Akemi said making excuses which made him chuckled.

"You know Bella, if you want me to be more opened in private. You could've just asked and who knows..." Aster said took off his jacket and tie.

He unbuttoned the two top buttons of his collar shirt. Then he grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards him. Her eyes were widened as they're facing each other. They were few inches apart from each other. Aster put his hand on her chin giving her a seductive expression.

"We could have gone all the way, my maid." Aster said as his tone of voice got deeper and seductive.

'Ahhhhhhhh! He can't be serious!' Akemi ponder herself refusing to believe what's happening right now.

"Yyyy... you're jok... kkking." Akemi said having her face turning red.

Aster took his left hand from her chin and put it on her right leg. Slowly move up until it stop to her thigh. He pulled her again as their bodies made contact. Akemi's hands was on his chest as she stared at Aster. He smirked as his confidence boost up.

"Argh!! You're such a prick!" Akemi angrily said hitting his chest.

"*laughs* You actually fell for it. You're so cute when you get flustered." Aster said still smirking.

"I swear sometimes you enjoy messing with me too much." Akemi said feeling upset about the stunt Aster pulled.

"What? It's fun to tease you because your reactions are priceless." Aster said as Akemi rolled her eyes.

"Anyways, you like all three outfits because I'm not going to change it when I start made them." Akemi said.

"Yeah, they're all great but don't you need my size." Aster said.

"That's what I'm going to talk about. In order to make it fit perfectly, I need to measure you. I want you to come in my apartment." Akemi explained.

"What day did you want me to come?" Aster asked.

"Sunday is perfect as it's my day off. How about this Sunday at eleven in the morning?" Akemi asked.

"Sounds great. I don't have anything to do." Aster replied.

"Good, just don't bring your car. I don't want anybody to notice you." Akemi said.

"What's wrong? Can't handle my fans?" Aster said teasing her again.

"As if, I don't want this project to be ruined or delayed. Also, I need to take you to the mall to get an idea what material you want for you outfit." Akemi said crossing her arms.

"*laughs* Alright, I'll have my limo driver take me to your place." Aster said.

"No, just try not to stand out. Having someone you know that isn't famous drive you to my place." Akemi said.

"Ok, ok. I have someone in mind. You really don't want attention." Aster said.

"I just want this to be perfect and if anyone ruined this project, they'll going to regret it." Akemi said as her expression was dead serious.

'Woah, she's dead serious about that threat. I shouldn't be in her way when she has future projects.' Aster pondering himself examining her expression.

"I promise that I won't stand out." Aster said which made Akemi happy.

"Great, now that's setting. I can do the easiest part of this project." Akemi said as they both smiled and agreeing the final designs.
