It was around 11 am when 21-year-old Leon Kennedy finally arrived in Raccoon City. It had been three long agonizing years since he'd last stepped foot into his hometown (having run away right after High School).

Although most of his friends hated Raccoon City, he actually loved it and never intended to leave but as fate would have it...

Leon had been in love with his older brother's best friend, Chris Redfield since he was young. Chris (who was 4 years older) and he were inseparable, even attending the same High School.

The night after Leon's graduation, his classmates decided to throw a party in Raccoon Forest. The party got pretty wild and after a couple of beers, Leon gained enough courage and confessed his feelings to Chris. Of course, with both of them drunk one thing led to another and before they knew it, they were having sex with each other until eventually, passing out.

A couple of hours later, Leon awoke to find that Chris was gone.

The next few days were excruciating for Leon because Chris was avoiding him. Feeling guilty over what had happened at the party, Leon decided to leave Raccoon City and try to forget about Chris. Now that he was back though, all the pain he felt 3 years ago came rushing back and he supposed he never really got over Chris.

Anyway, he knew he needed to move on, and now that he was back he wanted to try his best as an officer for the RPD.

"Welcome back Leon!" Chief Irons shouted as he patted Leon on the back.

"Thank you, Chief," Leon said as he began to blush.

"How long has it been Leon, 3 years? Well, as you can see not much has changed in Raccoon City and so it's like you never left. Anyway, for today, I just need you to fill out some papers and your first day will be tomorrow, is that okay?"

Leon nodded.

"Your apartment should be ready too, here are the keys get some rest because you look like hell."

Leon just chuckled at Chief Irons.

The next morning, he had a missed call from Chief so he jumped out of bed, showered, and headed straight to the Precinct.

"Leon! It looks like we have a situation at the Spencer Mansion, several Umbrella Employees were reported missing by their families. And, some people even reported seeing rabid dogs roaming around Raccoon Forest."

The drive there was silent and when they finally reached the Mansion, it was surrounded by Reporters and S.T.A.R.S members. As Leon exited the squad car, his jaw nearly dropped because standing among the crowd was none other than Chris Redfield.

"It's been a long-time Leon."
