AN: Here it is, the final chapter. I'm sorry if I said something wrong, or wrote something wrong. This has been a fun experience, and I can't wait to see how it'll end up. Enjoy!

Chapter 6: The Tree Where It All Started

It was a nice afternoon on Saturday, a week after Aggie returned. Aggie was in her room reading a book, when someone knocked on the door.

"Come in." said Aggie. The door slowly opened to reveal Norman. he looked very happy, and he spoke to her.

"Hey Aggie, how you doin'?"

"Oh I'm fine, thank you. What are you doing here?"

"Oh nothing, I was just checking on you." Norman blushed a little, he realised that he hadn't prepared enough for this.

"Hey uhh, I've got something to show you. Wanna come?" Aggie looked at Norman, who was very nervous, he was sweating a little. Aggie considered, then stood up and said.

"Okay, what is it?"

"It's a surprise, come on." Norman started walking downstairs while Aggie followed him. When they got outside, Norman held his arms up to her.

"Take my hand." She took it, and he immediately ran with her. Aggie was a little taken aback, but she quickly caught up.

They kept running along the streets when Norman took a turn towards the forest. Aggie's curiosity just got bigger and bigger. She knew something was coming, and she knows it's something good, which gave her an excited smile

After running for some time, Norman came to a halt and raised his left hand to tell Aggie to stop. He turned around to look at her and said.

"We're almost there. Now close your eyes." Aggie closed her eyes and felt Norman's hands take hers. They slowly moved, step by step until Norman finally let go of Aggie's hands.

"Alright, we're here. Open your eyes."

Aggie slowly opened her eyes and couldn't believe what she was seeing. It was her tree, but it was nothing like her tree. It's not a lifeless grey tree anymore, it's a flourishing tree

They sat down under the tree. Norman then took some books put on the ground near him.

"Neil helped me set this up yesterday," Said him. "We cleaned the whole place again, put stuff, you know, the usual, hehe." He looked through the selection of books and showed them to Aggie. "So, which one do you want me to read?" asked Norman.

"I don't know any of these books Norman, so you chose." Said Aggie. Norman chuckled and looked through the books again, and picked one up. He showed it to Aggie and explained what the book is about to her. He opened its first page and started reading. Aggie scoots closer to Norman, and after a few minutes, she leans her head on his shoulder.

A few hours later, and they're still there. Aggie is still listening calmly, and Norman is still reading the book to her peacefully. Suddenly, a mad thought appeared in his head, an action he never thought would do so soon. He ends a sentence, and came to a stop. The book he's holding starts to slip down his grasps. Aggie notices something wrong, rises upright with a slightly worried look on her face.

"Is anything wrong Norman?" ask Aggie. Norman looked down and sorrowful. He opened his mouth and tried to speak, but it was very hard for him.

"Aggie, have you ever had… a crush on someone?" Aggie looked confused, then Norman remembered that Aggie doesn't know what a crush is. "Uh, like, have you ever liked a boy? Back then?" Norman asked.

Aggie shook her head. "No, not really. We didn't have much love interests back then. There was this one boy who was especially nice to me, but other than that, no." Aggie wondered why Norman would ask such thing.

"Well, what do you think if someone likes you? Like maybe, a close friend… likes you? Do you mind?" ask Norman nervously. He blushed as he said that. Aggie became even more confused, questions flew all over her head.

"Well if he's nice to me then… I suppose I don't." replied her. "Why Norman?" Norman scratched the back of his head anxiously.

"Uhh, because, I…" he looked at her eyes. Green and beautiful, he couldn't stop staring at it. He noticed that Aggie was blushing a bit too. "Because… I think you're very beautiful Aggie, you're the prettiest girl I've ever seen," Aggie blushed hearing this, and Norman was half regretting saying it. "You're very cute, and smart, and strong and… I like you Aggie." Said Norman quickly. He was blushing so hard, and so was Aggie. He couldn't look at her anymore. He stared straight to the ground, he was feeling like he wanted to bury himself there, just to avoid Aggie's stare. He curled up into a ball and was silent for some moment.

Aggie couldn't believe what she just heard. Norman confessed to her. She was wordless, didn't know how to react to this. But she was not scared, sad, or angry at him, in fact, she was happy. She felt like she wanted to yell the loudest cheer ever. She put her hand on Norman's back, stopped to consider for a while, and then decide to give Norman a smooch on the cheeks.

Norman immediately looked at Aggie and found her smiling with a deep blush on her cheeks.

"Wh–" before Norman could finish, Aggie answered.

"You know, I realised I like you too Norman. You're handsome, especially with your hair," Norman blushed because of that complement, "You're very kind, you're… special to me." Said Aggie. After a short moment, Norman suddenly moved forwards and hugged Aggie. They both smiled and embraced the hug for a few seconds.

"You do realise that we're still related right?" ask Aggie.

"10 times removed auntie, does it bother you?" replied Norman in a teasingly way.

"Hehe, oh you, of course not."

Both let go, but still holding hands. Norman gazed into Aggie's green eyes, it's shimmering with light. She looked so beautiful. Aggie, on the other hand, is mesmerized by Norman's smile. Their face slowly moved closer to each other. Their eyes close.

And their lips meet.

The couple felt a feeling that they had never felt before, a feeling like nothing else. They felt love. The kiss ended after what felt like hours for them, only a couple seconds in reality. They looked at each other's eyes and chuckled. They leaned back on the tree, with hands still holding each other.

They quietly enjoyed the happy afternoon together, watching as the forest gets darker, and the sun starts to set down the horizon. That day, the two had found true love.

When suddenly Neil jumps out of the bush and starts screaming happily.

AN: AND THERE WE GO! WOO! It's finally over, I can't believe it! Same feeling I had when first writing this I guess, lol. Again, thoroughly sorry if I made mistakes. I hope I can improve on the next stories, and become a better author! Goodbye! :D
