Cyan-Snake: To be fair, Eleanor was really low on EVE and she didn't want to leave her little sisters behind just to chase after people she didn't know if she had enough energy left to beat in the first place. And in Amber's case, she was a bit more concerned with finding out more about the damn near pseudo-maiden person who just saved her than chasing the three who just attacked her. It was just a matter of priorities for both of them, and neither one really saw Cinder and the others as a big priority at the time.

As they were flying back on the bullhead, Amber gave Eleanor an overview of what a huntress was, what the Grimm were, and why hunters and huntresses were necessary. Several of Eleanor's little sisters were enthralled by the idea of hunters and huntresses.

"Eleanor, Eleanor! Can I become a huntress when I'm older too?" One of them asked, clinging onto her leg and looking up at her.

Eleanor patted her on the head. "Perhaps. If fighting those monsters we encountered back in the woods is what you truly wish to do. Apparently there are schools for it, so if any of you truly wish to become huntresses then we can most certainly look into getting you into such schools. I'm sure any of you would make for excellent huntresses, and I'm positive you could all save many lives. Though admittedly I'm somewhat surprised any of you would want to have anything to do with violence after Rapture…"

Several of the little girls shrunk in on themselves a bit as Eleanor mentioned Rapture.

After a moment one particularly brave little sister shook her head. "But that's why, big sister… I want to save people from scary monsters just like you and daddy saved us in Rapture! Miss Amber, Huntresses save people right?" Some of the little sisters who shied away perked up a bit upon hearing this.

"They most certainly do!" Amber said, smiling at the one who spoke up. "And I agree with your big sis here, I'm sure you would all be amazing huntresses!"

Eleanor chuckled. "I hope none of you feel discouraged by my mention of Rapture, as that was not my intention. I do not wish to stifle any of your ambitions. If any of you truly wish to become huntresses, I will do everything in my power to support you. Though should any of you wish to be doctors, artists, scientists, major political figures, or any other such things the same would apply. You all have immense potential to do great and wondrous things so I am happy with whatever any of you choose to do, just so long as you are not squandering that potential."

She then looked at Amber and asked, "So is it safe to assume you are a huntress then? Or are 'maidens' something else entirely?"

"We're… something else. Sort of… Sorry, I can't really go into it right now. Ozpin will fill you in on that once we get to Beacon." Amber told her.

"Very well…" Eleanor responded, not satisfied with the answer but deciding not to press the issue for now.

For the rest of the ride Amber talked a bit about Professor Ozpin and Beacon Academy. Filling Eleanor in on some of the basics she should know going into the meeting.

The bullhead finally landed several minutes later. Eleanor and Amber exited first followed closely by Eleanor's sisters. Outside two people were waiting for them. One was a man with gray hair, glasses, and a cane while the other was a blond woman with glasses, a small purple cape-like thing on her back, and what appeared to be a riding crop holstered on her hip.

"I see, you were indeed not exaggerating in the least on the phone when you told me how many younger sisters Miss Eleanor has." The gray haired man, whom Eleanor assumed was professor Ozpin, commented examining the children impassively. He also took a moment to examine Eleanor but if he was in any way disturbed by her suit or weaponry, he most certainly did not show it.

Amber crossed her arms and gave him a somewhat smug look. "Told you so."

Ozpin's lips turned up in a small smile. "I suppose you did… Well, Miss Eleanor, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. If you could have your sisters follow Miss Goodwitch, we can head to my office where we may talk in private."

"It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance as well, Professor. Girls, go with the kind lady. If you need me, I won't be far. I should be done very soon." Eleanor said. She didn't like this, leaving her sisters behind for any length of time. The only reason she was agreeing to it was because this was supposed to be a prestigious school and considering the fact this wasn't Rapture she assumed a school wasn't going to be in the habit of kidnapping little girls or holding them hostage. On top of this she knew at least three of them had the plasmid that would let them call for her if they needed her.

She hoped it wouldn't come to that. Not just because she was low on EVE at the moment so she would have to limit her abilities somewhat, but because she genuinely wanted to trust these people and didn't want to have to kill them. She had never truly had friends before but she wanted friends if she could get them.

As her sisters were walking away, Eleanor smiled at Ozpin. "Please, lead the way."

Ozpin nodded. "Of course." He then turned and started walking towards one of the buildings. "As we walk, may I ask how you and your sisters encountered Amber being attacked?"

Eleanor sighed. "It's… a long story. I'll shorten it for now as I'm sure I'm going to have to go into more detail once we reach your office. However, my sisters and I just escaped from a rather… dangerous situation on the ocean. The beach a couple hours walk through the forest from where we encountered Amber was the first land we saw, so I brought us there. Our escape pod should still be there, with a hull plate and piece of railing missing as I had to use them to make a shovel to bury both of my parents. You can send someone to investigate if you wish to confirm my story. I even left the shovel near my parents' graves if you want to look for them too. They are buried not far from the beach, just far enough beyond it where their bodies could be disturbed by the tides."

"I see. Well, there is already a huntsman in the area. So yes, I will be sending him to confirm your story. Apologies, it's not that I don't believe you, but the timing is quite…" Ozpin trailed off a bit.

"Suspicious?" Eleanor finished for him.

"I was going to say 'coincidental', but yes." Ozpin nodded.

Eleanor shrugged. "I realize this. That's why I am doing my best to cooperate. Though I'm afraid there isn't much I can do to prove it was a coincidence beyond what I have already told you."

"In the same vein, if what you told us about your ship and parents' graves is true, then there isn't much I can do to prove it wasn't a coincidence. So at that point I suppose I'll have to take your word for it. We will be asking your sisters their sides of the story to corroborate yours but after that I'm afraid we'll just have to take your word for it." Ozpin told her.

Eleanor had nothing to add and thus didn't respond.

Noticing this, Ozpin pulled out his scroll and tapped on it a few times before holding it up to his ear. He then told whoever answered about the ship and graves before asking him to investigate. After exchanging a couple more words he hung up and put the scroll away.

Eventually the three of them made it to Ozpin's office. Walking behind his desk he pulled out some cups and poured what looked like coffee in them from a large glass pitcher that had been sitting on a device Eleanor didn't recognize. "I took the liberty of preparing some coffee before you two arrived. Would either of you like some? I have some hot chocolate instead, if you don't like coffee."

"I'll take the hot chocolate." Amber said.

"I'll have some coffee." Eleanor said. The memories of Rapture's inhabitants told her that coffee was a bit of an acquired taste, but most liked it and from their memories she could see why since the memories told her what to look for in the taste of coffee.

Amber looked at Eleanor in surprise. "You like coffee? Aren't you a teenager or something?"

"I turned sixteen just this year. So yes, I'm a teenager. However I fail to see what my age has to do with me liking or disliking a particular drink." Eleanor responded.

"But it's so bitter!" Amber objected.

"It is, but there is more to the taste if you know what to look for." Eleanor responded.

"I didn't take you for such a connoisseur, Eleanor. Well, regardless, how would you like your coffee?" Ozpin asked.

"Black is fine."

Ozpin nodded before pouring coffee into two of the mugs. He then grabbed another glass pitcher containing only water before pouring it into the third mug. He then poured a packet of something into the mug of hot water and used a small wooden stick to stir it a bit. Leaving the stick in the mug, he grabbed the cup of hot chocolate and one of the mugs of coffee and brought them over to Eleanor and Amber.

"You'll probably have to stir your chocolate a bit more, Amber. Now, why don't the two of you sit down. I know I'm going to." Ozpin said before walking back, picking up his coffee, and sitting down behind his desk.

Eleanor sat down in one of the two chairs in front of Ozpin's desk as did Amber. Eleanor then took a sip from her coffee. It seemed that the memories of Rapture's inhabitants let her skip past the stage where coffee already tasted awful to her, and let her acquire the taste for it immediately.

"So, Amber, can you elaborate on what happened and how you were saved by Miss Eleanor?" Ozpin asked.

"Sure. So I was ambushed by three people and was getting my butt kicked. Then Eleanor teleported in, and I mean literally teleported, and started helping me. She was teleporting around hitting people with that big drill thing she's carrying, was throwing fireballs and shooting lightning from her hands, was freezing stuff, was ripping up chunks of the ground and throwing them around with what looked like telekinesis. Then she lifted the three of them up into the air with her telekinesis, slammed them together, then slammed them back into the ground. Oh, and she did all of this without even having her aura unlocked." Amber explained. "If I didn't know better, I'd think she was a maiden too. In fact those three said the same thing, which makes me think that's why they attacked me."

Ozpin took a sip from his coffee. "I see… Eleanor, is all of this true?"

Eleanor looked at one of her hands, which was suddenly engulfed by fire. The fire then vanished and was replaced by electricity. The electricity was then replaced by ice. She then looked back at Ozpin. "Yes. It is."

"Would you be willing to explain the nature of your powers?" Ozpin asked.

"And it seems we're getting straight to the point. I propose an equal exchange of information." Eleanor stated.

"Hm… And how would this exchange work, exactly?" Ozpin asked.

"I will tell you what you want to know, but in return you tell me something equivalent. For example, how my powers work. In exchange you would explain to me Amber's powers and how they work. From what I saw our powers, despite a few vague similarities, are actually quite different and I'm just as curious to figure out the nature of them as you are curious to figure out the nature of mine." Eleanor responded.

Ozpin kept a neutral expression. "Fine. Let's start with easier questions first then. We can work our way up to more important questions as we go. First, what is the name of the planet?"

"Interesting first question. Considering it and what Amber said to me earlier about all living things having a soul, I assume it's called 'Remnant'. However, that is not the name of the planet I am familiar with. Earth is what the planet is usually called, as far as I am aware. Though, less commonly but more officially it's actual name is 'Terra'. I have an idea of what you are probably thinking. So if you give me a piece of paper and something to draw with, I can draw you a map of Earth, complete with the borders of each individual country. In return you show me a map containing the same." Eleanor suggested.

"Acceptable. Here is your paper, and a clipboard to write on. Would you prefer a pen or pencil?" Ozpin asked.

"A pen, please. Also, there's likely a professionally made map somewhere on the ship, so you could have the huntsman you sent to investigate look for that too. I imagine it will take a few hours to get it here after it's found, or a few days by mail. So I will still be drawing it out for now." Eleanor said, as she took the pen from Ozpin and started drawing.

"Eleanor, you do realize scrolls can take and send pictures, correct?" Amber asked.

Eleanor blinked and looked up at them. "They can? I… I did not know that. The most advanced form of communication I am aware of is radio. Well, I suppose television might count. In fact that sounds closer to what you're describing."

Ozpin and Amber shared a look. "Miss Eleanor, what year do you think it is?"

"1968 Anno Domini, or AD for short. What year is it?" Eleanor asked.

Ozpin took another sip of his coffee. "Anno Domini, hm…? I'm afraid that neither of us have heard of that particular dating system." He then told Eleanor the actual date.

"I see… Well, it will probably still take time for your huntsman to find the map in the ship so I'll at least draw the outlines of the continents." Eleanor said, as she looked back down at the paper and proceeded to continue drawing the map.

Once she was done, she handed it to Professor Ozpin who took it and looked at it. "I see you even labeled the continents. Let's see here… North and South America, Antarctica, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceana. Hm… Well, here is the map we are familiar with." Ozpin said, handing Eleanor his scroll.

Eleanor looked at the scroll and saw the continents were very different from what she was familiar with. "Oh. That explains a lot…" She handed his scroll back to him.

"Indeed. So, Miss Eleanor, would you care to explain how you supposedly came from another planet entirely?" Ozpin asked.

"Wait, another planet? Let me see that map!" Amber said, taking the map Eleanor drew off of Ozpin's desk and looking at it.

Eleanor sighed and took a long drink from her own coffee. "I can. However, it has to do with my powers and the situation my sisters and I were in before we got here. I'm not sure what information you could give me that would be equivalent since you are not in an equivalent situation. I suppose I could explain this one thing for free."

"Please do. Though I will think about what I may be able to tell you that is equivalent, however it will be… difficult. Especially since I'm not sure whether or not I should actually believe you. Right now I'm leaning towards 'no' but who knows, you might surprise me." Ozpin told her.

"Right well, Amber, may I see the map?" Eleanor asked, holding out a hand towards Amber.

"Sure…" Amber said, handing it back.

Eleanor placed the map back on Ozpin's desk. "First and foremost, I am from an underwater city located here." She pointed to where Rapture was located under the ocean. "It was built by a man named Andrew Ryan who intended it to be a sort of individualist utopia. Though we can discuss the history of Rapture later as it is heavily tied into how my powers function."

Continuing on she said, "Regardless, my sisters and I escaped Rapture after my mother took it over which is a long story in and of itself. However, after we surfaced we were assaulted by people with similar abilities as some I have such as the ability to teleport and throw fire from their hands called Splicers. A final trap left for us by my mother, I believe. There seemed to be no end to them. More kept coming and I couldn't keep up fighting them. Then I suppose the stress of the situation brought an ability I didn't even know I had to the forefront. My hands started glowing, and I opened a portal to the ocean near the beach we landed on. My sisters used their own telekinetic abilities to push the ship through the portal while I held it open."

"I see. Could you demonstrate this ability for me? It would most certainly go a long way in proving your claims." Professor Ozpin requested.

"I can try. Though I don't really understand how it works so I don't think I'll be able to fully control where it leads." Eleanor said. Concentrating, she tried to call upon the plasmid. It took her a moment but eventually she succeeded. Her hand started glowing with white light. Suddenly a portal opened up behind Ozpin. This one was smaller than the last and it felt different.

Looking through it, Eleanor saw herself and Amber sitting in front of Ozpin's desk. Looking behind her, she saw another portal behind her.

Ozpin looked behind himself. Standing up he walked over to the portal and stuck his cane through it before looking back and seeing his cane sticking out of the other portal. "Hm… Not quite what I was expecting." He said as he retracted his cane.

"This… Doesn't feel the same as the portal that brought us here… Let me try again…" Eleanor said. She then closed the portal. Trying to recall what the original portal felt like she tried again, this time putting a bit more effort into it.

Another portal opened in front of Ozpin who was still standing up and was facing away from Eleanor and Amber. This time the portal was bigger and it felt the same as the portal on the ocean. However, through the portal the three of them saw a massive purple dragon standing atop what appeared to be the ruins of a city.

Ozpin immediately froze. "Close it." He ordered.

"What?" Eleanor asked, surprised by the sudden order.

"Close it, now!" Ozpin said a bit more urgently. However this proved to be a mistake as the massive purple dragon seemed to hear him and turned to face the portal revealing a skeletal head with empty eye sockets.

"Ozma…" The dragon growled.

"ELEANOR, CLOSE THE PORTAL!" Ozpin shouted.

Eleanor let the portal close just as the purple dragon was about to take a step towards them.

As soon as the portal was fully closed Ozpin immediately fell to his knees clutching his chest breathing heavily.

Eleanor set her coffee down and teleported over to him. She saw he was white as a sheet, all the blood having drained from his face. "Professor, are you alright? What on Earth was that thing and why did it say 'Ozma'?"

"I… No… No, I'm not alright… That… That was a destroyed world… A world where…" He paused and shook his head. "You are to never do that again."

"Professor?" Eleanor asked in a worried tone.

Ozpin grabbed one of Eleanor's arms and looked her dead in the eyes. "Eleanor, this is important! You can never do that again under any circumstances, and I mean never! Do you understand me?!"

"Yes, but why?" Eleanor said in a calm collected tone.

"It's too dangerous… If he had managed to come through… It would be the end of the world…" Ozpin stated.

"Sooo… Uh… Does this mean Eleanor and her sisters really are aliens?" Amber asked, still sitting in her chair.

Ozpin stood back up and looked at Amber. "Yes… I… I believe it does… Well this has certainly changed my whole perspective on this meeting…" He then returned to his seat behind his desk.

Eleanor walked back over to her own seat and sat back down as well. "Professor, I think I must apologize. As I said I don't understand how that power works and thus have no real control over where the portals lead. So I didn't mean to open a portal to that world."

"It's… fine, I suppose. Just so long as you can promise me you will never open a portal to another world like that again. Even accidentally." Ozpin said, clearly still recovering from seeing whatever that strange dragon was.

"You have my word. However, it seems you know that creature. What was it?" Eleanor asked.

Ozpin sighed and looked down at his desk. "As you yourself have said about your own past, its a long story. You wanted an equal exchange of information, yes? Well let's exchange our stories after we're done here."

Eleanor shrugged. "Very well. I suppose I can be patient. Instead, we can exchange information on my powers and the powers of a 'maiden' like Amber."

"Yes, I suppose we can do that… Amber, would you like to explain your powers or should I?" Ozpin asked.

Amber looked at him for a second before saying, "Well you look like you were just on the verge of having a heart attack so just let me." She then looked at Eleanor and said, "Essentially, there are four maidens. The summer, fall, winter, and spring maidens respectively. I'm the current Fall Maiden. Our powers aren't like semblances or dust or anything like that. Instead we use actual magic. In fact, we're the only ones in the world who can, besides Professor Ozpin. When we die our powers transfer to the last person we were thinking about before our deaths. Specifically the last female we were thinking about before our deaths since only women can be Maidens. It's supposed to be a secret since people who were too power hungry used to hunt us in hopes of inheriting our powers from us. I think that's why those three attacked me, they wanted to try to steal my power."

Eleanor looked at Amber as she spoke. When she was finished Eleanor said, "Magic… Really…? I may be young, but I'm not some ignorant child who will believe just anything someone tells me. Magic does not exist."

Ozpin gave Eleanor an incredulous look. "You open portals to other worlds, can control the elements, have telekinesis, and can teleport yet you refuse to accept the existence of magic?"

"Well, yes. Everything I can do is perfectly explainable scientific phenomena… Well, admittedly, I have no idea what the science is behind the portals but it most certainly isn't 'magic'." Eleanor stated

Ozpin took a deep breath. "Eleanor… That dragon you saw on the other side of that portal is a god."

"What?" Eleanor asked, surprised by this sudden revelation

"He is a god. One of two separate gods, in fact. Specifically, he was the God of Darkness. The being who created the Grimm. His brother is the God of Light. So, yes. Magic absolutely exists. It was granted to mankind by the gods as a gift, and they're also the ones who took it away. For the most part, at least." Ozpin informed her.

Eleanor was silent for a long moment before saying, "I will admit, religion and the divine were a hotly debated topic even on Earth. So I can't exactly refute the existence of gods entirely. Though you must forgive me as I do find it rather difficult to believe… Then again, from what Amber has told me that 'aura' is something along the lines of the physical manifestation of the soul, and she unlocked mine by saying a few otherwise meaningless words while placing her hand on my shoulder. And what else could that be but magic? Ugh… this is… complicated. I'm not quite sure what to believe here."

"I suppose that's somewhat understandable. Though after what you've already seen, I can promise you, we aren't trying to deceive you. If you can find a scientific basis behind things such as Aura or what we know as magic by all means do so. However the power of the Maidens is magic, at least so far as we are currently aware." Ozpin stated.

Eleanor sighed. "Very well then… I suppose I'll just have to take your word for it… My powers are not so obscure as mere 'magic'. In fact, all of my abilities are purely genetic." She then proceeded to describe ADAM and Plasmids to both Amber and Ozpin.

"So literally anyone could have your powers?" Ozpin asked.

"Mm… Yes and no. I'm… different. I was essentially built by my mother to be able to handle Plasmids when I was just a little girl. Normal humans are not. This goes into the history of Rapture, but most humans who inject themselves with Plasmids go insane and their bodies begin to mutate, creating what are known as 'splicers'. And to normal humans ADAM is highly addictive thus creating a rapidly compounding issue where the more they ingest the more mutated they become while becoming more dependent upon it. There have only been a handful of cases at most where individuals exposed to ADAM did not become Splicers. The prime example being myself and a man named Jack Ryan, the son of Andrew Ryan, and both of us were genetically engineered for it at a very young age to be able to withstand them."

"Does this have something to do with that whole you being 'the first Utopian' thing you mentioned while you were kicking the crap out of those people earlier?" Amber asked.

"Yes. It does. My mother had a philosophy. Utopia can not precede the utopian. As such, I was created to be the first Utopian. She wanted to use me to create her perfect collectivist Utopia after Andrew Ryan's attempt at an individualist Utopia failed… I was designed to absorb the ADAM from the deceased inhabitants of Rapture, integrating their knowledge, their memories, perhaps even their very souls into my own. Though the bit about souls is speculation on my part since souls appear to be a far more tangible matter here in Remnant than it is on Earth." Eleanor explained.

Amber's eyes widened in realization. "Oh… Oh! That would actually explain why unlocking your aura drained me so much. I thought that was weird… The implications of that are a bit disturbing, honestly."

Ozpin interlaced his fingers in front of his face and stared at Eleanor silently in thought for a moment before asking, "How many people do you have the memories of?"

"Hundreds if not thousands. World class scientists, doctors, geneticists, artists, philosophers, engineers, and even common men and women of the lower class of Rapture. I can't exactly count them all so I'm afraid I can't give a specific number. Arrogant though it may sound, I could essentially qualify to have PhDs in every degree imaginable. Though not through any effort of my own but rather through the memories and knowledge instilled in me through ADAM by the efforts of my Mother to create the perfect being."

"That's… vaguely terrifying. I can't imagine you literally have the collective souls of all of those whose memories you have absorbed or Amber would not have been able to unlock your aura at all. It would have taken one of the gods to do so… We should move on. I feel like we could continue discussing this particular matter for quite some time. Too long, in fact. We can discuss this and perhaps run a few simple experiments with your aura to figure out some important questions in the future." Ozpin stated.

"Agreed." Eleanor nodded.

Suddenly Ozpin's scroll went off. Looking at it he said, "Ah. It would seem that Qrow has found your ship, the graves, and the map you mentioned… The map looks remarkably similar to the map you drew. Who would have thought? Anyway, this ADAM substance… Can you synthesize more? Surely someone of your knowledge should be able to do so."

Eleanor frowned at him. "I have already told you of the dangers of ADAM yet you want me to make more? Why? So you can repeat the folly of Rapture and create a horde of ADAM addicted splicers, far more dangerous than the Grimm? Or so you can genetically engineer child soldiers as Frank Fontaine did with Jack Ryan? And when I can't produce it fast enough to suit your needs in any ethical manner, will you start kidnapping young girls or opening false orphanages as a front for gathering as many as possible and force me to turn them into Little Sisters? Would you subject children to the same horrid fate my father sacrificed himself to save my sisters from?"

Amber gave Eleanor a concerned look while Ozpin's expression remained neutral. "I have no intention of following in the footsteps of Rapture and creating splicers. Though I will admit the idea of genetically engineered soldiers similar to yourself could be useful as a counter against the Grimm. Even just genetically engineered animals designed to hunt and kill the Grimm while instinctively protecting humans could very easily turn the tides in our favor. However, something you just said has caught my interest. What is a 'Little Sister' and what would they have to do with the production of ADAM?"

"I'm sorry, but I know you couldn't guarantee ADAM would be used exclusively on animals. The greed and lust for power of those who have access to it would lead to it eventually being used on humans. You would have no way of stopping it…" Eleanor said. She then sighed and shook her head. "At this point I think it would just be easier to give you a history lesson. Both to discourage you from pursuing the use of ADAM and to answer this and many other questions I'm sure you have."

Hearing this, Ozpin tapped on his scroll a few times before saying, "I'm listening."

Eleanor then proceeded to explain the history of Rapture, starting from when and why Andrew Ryan built it, to its rise, to its golden age, then to its steady decline until the discovery of ADAM, then its rise again before everything started to fall apart completely until Frank Fontaine took and modified and brainwashed Jack Ryan eventually leading to the deaths of both Andrew Ryan and Fontaine. Finally she explained her own history and how her mother seized the city and tried to warp it in her own image. This took a couple hours and by the time she was finished the sun was starting to set.

"So, you ask me if I can make ADAM… The answer is no. I do not have the sea slugs that ADAM originated from and without them, creating more ADAM is impossible. And even if I did have a bucket of the slugs, I would simply kill them all and incinerate the corpses just to ensure they can never be used to create ADAM ever again. I would not trust you with it as I would not trust anyone with it. It's simply too dangerous. And I most certainly won't risk a repeat of the creation of Little Sisters and Big Daddies. Not after what my sisters and I went through."

Ozpin nodded. "Very well. I would not force you to even if you could. Especially after hearing the quite frankly sordid history of Rapture. For what it's worth, I'm sorry you had to go through all of that. And while I disagree with your completely black and white view on morality, I can certainly see why you ended up killing your mother after all of that. I'm sure that many would have done the same… You don't plan on becoming a vigilante hunting down and killing any who commit a crime, do you?"

"No. I'm not so barbaric that I would cut the hands off a starving beggar who stole a loaf of bread, let alone kill him. Though individuals who harm me or my sisters' lives are forfeit. As are the lives of any who go too far within my vicinity. I will not spare rapists, murderers, kidnapers, or terrorists. I would also say the same about anyone who uses their positions of power to manipulate the laws or the masses or exploits those under them for their own selfish gain, but then I would have to kill every politician and businessman in the world, wouldn't I? I can't exactly do that, unfortunately, or I would be labeled a criminal myself. So I suppose inciting a social revolution will just have to do instead." Eleanor stated.

Ozpin chuckled at that. "A social revolution, hm…? It's been quite some time since we've had one of those. Well, if you can do it and change the world for the better, I most certainly won't stop you. However, in the meantime, you are going to need an actual job to support yourself and your sisters. So why not become a huntress? Well… you're a bit too young to be a huntress just yet, but I am more than willing to offer you a place in my school. You would learn all about the Grimm, what it means to be a huntress, and depending on how you played your cards, you could even become quite famous and even earn yourself into a position of power that would give you a platform with which to incite this revolution of yours. It would also give you a wonderful opportunity to make friends around your age."

Amber smiled at her and said, "You should do it! Several of your sisters want to be huntresses when they grow up and they all really look up to you. So if you became a huntress, you know they would want to follow in your footsteps."

Eleanor looked at Amber. "I know you mean well, but that's actually a point against me agreeing to become a huntress if anything. I do not want to put any pressure on them to do whatever I choose to do. It would be a waste of their potential. That being said, I will agree only on a few conditions." She looked back at Ozpin,

"I'm listening." Ozpin told her.

"First, I want to be emancipated. My father is already with me, even if his body is gone, and I do not want foster parents. Can you arrange this?" Eleanor asked.

Ozpin nodded. "Done. I can do that as soon as your identification and paperwork is finished. Anything else?"

"I want full legal custody of my sisters. I will not put a single one of them up for adoption."

"That's a bit more tricky since it would require you having a home large enough to fit them all but it can be done, I suppose. However, I have to point out that Beacon Academy is a boarding school. You would be living on campus for the duration of the school year. So it would be difficult to take care of them all. That being said, I can recommend several boarding schools for your sisters too. That would mitigate the difficulty significantly and you would be able to live with them over summer break. At that point, it would just be a monetary issue which could be solved by having you take on contracts to fight the grimm in secret."

"It could also be solved by me creating my own company and selling certain technologies from Rapture. Which would also give me a public platform to lay the foundations of my social revolution from and would give me far more income than what I could earn fighting the Grimm in secret." Eleanor stated.

"Really? And what technologies are those?" Ozpin asked curiously.

Eleanor took out her father's research camera and set it down on Ozpin's desk. "This is called a research camera. It isn't just a simple camera, however. It can analyze genetic information, parse biological structures, and much more to allow one to learn everything there is to know about the biology of whatever they're pointing it at. This one in particular works through combat, as the more the creature being recorded is hit with a variety of weapons the more information about its genetic structure and biology is found out thus allowing the camera to determine exact strengths and weaknesses, which can vary a bit from creature to creature. My father used it to great effect back in Rapture. It would be perfect for huntsmen and huntresses fighting the Grimm. However, if it is altered for non-violent research it can also be used purely for medical purposes rather than combat purposes. I'm sure you can imagine the possibilities of what doctors could do with such a device."

"Holy crap… That's incredible! How does it even work?" Amber asked, looking at the camera.

"It's quite complicated. Unless you have a PhD in biology and both optical and quantum physics, I'm afraid you more than likely wouldn't understand." Eleanor told her.

"Fascinating… Yes, I can certainly see a large market for something like this. I will even be willing to help you start up your company for this considering how beneficial it could be for huntsmen and normal citizens alike." Ozpin stated.

"I also have several more ideas as well, but for now I can start with this." Eleanor said, taking the camera back and putting it away.

"Well, Eleanor, Amber, it is starting to get late. We agreed to an equal exchange of information, but I'm sure your sisters are starting to wonder what's taking so long. Besides which, I'm sure you two are likely getting hungry after such a long conversation. So we can continue this tomorrow. Does this sound agreeable?" Ozpin asked.

Eleanor nodded. "Yes. I would like to check on my sisters anyway."

Amber sighed and stood up. "Well, in that case, I should probably be going soon. It was nice meeting you Eleanor."

"You're leaving already?" Eleanor asked, standing up as well.

"Yeah… Me being a Maiden means I can't really stay in one place for too long. There are still people who know about us and hunt us for our powers, as you saw today. So I don't want to put your little sisters in any danger by staying any longer than necessary. I'll probably find a hotel or something here in Vale before heading out again." Amber told her.

"I see… Well, at least come say goodbye to my sisters before you go. They seemed to like you and I'm sure they would be disappointed if you didn't." Eleanor requested.

Amber smiled a bit. "Alright. I guess it wouldn't hurt to at least say goodbye."

"Indeed. Well, follow me and I'll lead you to where Glynda and your sisters are. If I'm not mistaken, they should be in the cafeteria at the moment having dinner. Fortunately, it's soon enough after the school year that the chefs are still here." Ozpin stated as he got up and started leading Eleanor and Amber out of his office.

Note: Question, should Eleanor make and sell Vita Chambers to the headmasters of the different huntsmen academies? Ozpin's little secret society specifically. I mean, if she could make them it seems like something she would definitely do. However, I'm worried it might cheapen the story by letting anyone who's killed be brought back to life. So right now, I'm leaning more towards "No", personally.

I'm open to constructive criticism, so if you see any faults in the chapter that you think I could rewrite or improve on, please let me know.
