Cloud Strife had gotten too used to wearing his SOLDIER/mercenary outfit most of the time that it felt unreal to be wearing something more casual or date appropriate. Right now he was preparing himself for a date with his Avalanche teammate (though the group was near not needed anymore thanks to the downfall of both Shinra and Sephiroth) Jessie Rasberry. Most people would scoff at Cloud in disbelief asking why he would be after romanticizing another woman since he was already with Aerith the beautiful flower girl and Tifa the buff sexy tavern proprietor and bouncer.
Truth be told they were the ones that encouraged him to ask her out since they liked Jessie and didn't' mind having a 'sister' as a fellow lover to Cloud since they didn't count to eachother as they were as much lovers to eachother as they were to Cloud. "Remember to give these to her and please try and not drive her away; we love you and know that the bad boy attitude is just an act but I won't be pleased if you end up driving her away." Aerith told Cloud as she handed him a bouquet of flowers.
"Don't worry Aerith, it will be near impossible for Cloud to drive away Jessie. She has been crazy for Cloud ever since they first met; most of the time she can't stop looking at Cloud as if she wants him to take her on the spot." Tifa reassured Aerith with a smirk on her face as Cloud couldn't argue. He never denied that he saw how much Jessie was into him; it's just that in his state of mind when he started working with Avalanche, he never cared enough to give any sort of thought to it at all.
They waved to him as he went to the apartment that Jessie stayed at and knocked down the door, Jessie answered the door smiling in a stunning dress with her hair down accepting the flowers with the biggest smile. Jessie was nowadays chasing her old dream as an aspiring actress so the local people were surprised to see her in more girly clothes, too hard to push away the image of her as a tomboy since she spent so much time in her Avalanche uniform. "Would you believe Tifa and Aerith helped me get ready as in they made it clear that they didn't plan on giving me a choice in the matter. They want so badly to welcome me to the Cloud Strife harem." Jessie giggled as she showed him to the table with the pizza that she had made with her mother's special recipe.
"Bout time since how long did you owe me this?" Cloud asked and she smirked as they tucked in, it was good but Cloud noticed Jessie looking annoyed as she accidentally got sauce on her dress. Cloud smirked as he then threw a slice at her dress and then her face with her screaming as she was taken off guard. "How about I come closer and see how you taste?" Cloud asked and she giggled as she got up and put her hands on her hips.
"Okay you jerk, since you ruined my dress and my face then you have to help me unzip and get myself cleaned." Jessie told Cloud and he gave her a look.
"Why are you saying that as if it was a punishment?" he asked and she giggled.
"With tact and a smart Alec attitude like that, it's any wonder how you scored and kept two wonderful girlfriends." Jessie asked rhetorically with amusement as she came closer. "So do you promise on not turning futures dates into a food fight?" Jessie asked and Cloud shook his head.
"No chance of me promising that, is that a deal breaker?" Cloud asked as Jessie then pulled the collar of his jacket down to her so she can kiss him with Cloud enjoying the taste of her lips and the pizza sauce that had gotten on it.
Jessie was glad with how this turned out and was happy with her chances with Cloud, which will be good news to Tifa and Aerith. Though she may have to explain to them what happened with the dress they helped her get and why there were pizza stains to be cleaned out.
Even though I am not a player of Souls like games (helps that this example will have a difficult section and I have an interest in the upcoming Lies of P), I am interested in the upcoming hilariously tone deaf spin off retelling of the original Final Fantasy called Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin which is the most Kingdom Hearts title a Final Fantasy game has ever been titled. I played the demo and I liked it so far and i am interested in how the story turns out.
