Tifa Lockhart knew that people found it odd at first when she, Aerith Gainsborough and Cloud Strife first started their three way relationship. Cloud her childhood friend who put on the mask of being a brooding loner but was dependable and nice to those he cared about. Aerith the sweet and beautiful flower girl who could be a cheeky bitch to those that knew her close enough. She had a crush on Cloud for the longest time and being the tough muscular boxer type; she was optimistic that she could get Cloud attracted to her eventually and how long and well they knew eachother.
She did get jealous when he and Aerith got close but she ended up enjoying her company more plus thinking about how beautiful she was. That girl's day out at the beach and seeing her in the bikini; how much she internally enjoyed it when Aerith asked her to help apply sunscreen and did so to her. When Aerith lied down on her front with her bikini strap untied; she insisted to herself that the red on her face was due to the sun.
Soon enough she was coming to terms with the fact that she was in love with both Cloud and Aerith; then she spotted them making out and felt her heart break. Trying her best to be the supportive friend she came forward but Aerith invited her to join in; saying that they were just discussing how they felt about eachother and her. Apparently neither of them needed much convincing to give this relationship a try if Tifa was willing; Tifa herself didn't need much convincing herself.
She may not have been Cloud's first kiss but he was her and she made it count.
The love grew until the day Cloud presented them both with rings and then finding the church to marry the three of them together. How happy they were together even when dealing with Aerith's cheekiness; stroking Aerith's hair and head when she was in her lap and Aerith having that grin on her face. Giggling as she had Tifa too content to react to her comments.
The years until Aerith shared the exciting positive news about a test; helping her through the pregnancy and then the birth of her son named Sora. "Our son Aerith." Cloud said as he held the bundle in his arms smiling as Tifa smiled. Yes his and Aerith's son as they were the ones to get together first and she was second.
After a few minutes Aerith surprised her as she asked softly "don't you want to hold your son Tifa?" Tifa was taken aback but the encouraging smiles on their faces; even Aerith having a genuine sweet smile showing that it was not an act or at least not entirely. When Cloud said 'our', she was included as well.
Tifa smiled at the boy in her arms thinking that it didn't matter if it wasn't biological; he was indeed her son as well.
Sora had a good childhood with the happy family; Sora having his father's spiky hair and his biologicial mother's hair color but all their kindness and sweetness. Then the Heartless attacking when he was 14 and ended up as a Keyblade wielder much to their shock.
After a long discussion they had to face the truth; it didn't matter if they liked it or wanted it (which they certainly didn't), he could now wield the Keyblade which meant that he was a target. The best they can do is support him and training him especially Cloud with the most experience with blades.
Sora ended up becoming a fierce warrior who did plenty of good among the worlds; they heard his stories and especially certain girls he had getting closer, the Strife parents trio weren't fooled and knew that he was crushing on them and from the sound of it; it was certainly requitted. Sora may have inheritted his father's magnetic charm for the ladies.
Tifa was at the house excited as Sora said that he had gotten together with them; she was outside the house when Sora brought them home. Jasmine the Princess of a desert kingdom, Ariel a mermaid princess taking human form and Rapunzel the formerlly long golden haired princess. Scratch that he wasn't a ladies magnet; he was more a princess magnet.
"Girls; this is one of my moms." Sora introduced them to Tifa and she smiled as she greeted them all having heard about them; Sora always accepted having two mothers and it never seemed like to him that Aerith was more of one than her.
"If you end up breaking his heart or play around with him; don't think that being princesses will stop me from turning you into my new punching bags." warned Tifa and Sora gasped moaning about her embarassing him.
"Look forward to a punishment from that tonight." Aerith whispered into her ear from behind as she and Cloud went to greet them; Rapunzel started gushing about the flowers in the garden with Aerith telling her about planing them while Jasmine and Ariel greeted Cloud.
Tifa smiled at the display; it was her family and as far as she was concerned normal was highly overrated.
I had done a oneshot before of the 3 being parents of Sora.
