Riot by Hollywood Undead Ch 2

Chapter 2

"But seriously, what were ya thinking of doing, kid?" Dally asked. Ponyboy and Johnny had accepted them into their little group, not that Johnny was opposed to Dally, but Two-Bit…Anyways, they were all sitting in Ponyboy's old room, the one he slept in before his parents passed away and he started having those unending nightmares.

After an awkward silence, Johnny broke it, "We were planning on…singing…." His voice was so quiet that Dally asked him to repeat himself, so he did, looking Dally straight in the eye with little embarrassment, "Singing."

Dally was so proud that Johnny's confidence had come through, that it took a second for him to actually digest what he had said, Two-Bit, naturally a bit slow, caught up at the same time as Dally's and they both yelled-

"WHAT!?" At the same time. Johnny and Ponyboy winced, both scooting backwards, away from the raging teens. Unfortunately, the yelling had brought the attention of the remaining Curtis' brothers and Steve, who of course was there, he took 2nd place, Two-Bit taking 1st, of practically living there, he hung around so much.

You could have mistaken the stomping up the stairs as a herd of elephants instead of two teens and one twenty-year-old. Not a second later, the door slammed open, Soda being the most agile one of the group, slipped in front of Darry and ran for Ponyboy, cradling him in his arms.

"Are you okay, Honey?"

"Gah! Sodapop! Stop, let go of me!" Ponyboy said in a very loud manner. He then proceeded to shove his 2nd oldest brother off him gently, as to not have to look at a heartbroken Soda. Pony scooted closer to Johnny, his face burning with embarrassment, "I'm fine, Soda, these two over here were just goofing around and yelling at the top of their lungs," Pony easily lied-Soda had once said that Pony lied real good because he read so much but Two-Bit lies all the time and there was no way you could catch him dead with a book in his hands, same with Dally. Speaking of the two knuckleheads, his glare pinned them to their spots on the floor, "Hey! You two! Quite laughing before I bash your skulls in!" He wouldn't actually, but the other members of the gang, save Johnny, had never heard him talk like that before.

"Ponyboy!/Pony!/Kid!" Is what came from Darry, Soda, and Steve respectively-Pony directing a mildly annoyed glare at Steve- Two-Bit only whimpered and Dally looked on in approval, 'Dammit!' he thought, 'I'm getting soft if I'm complimenting these kids twice in one day!' He berated himself, it didn't matter to him that these compliments were only internal and that no one could hear him. Dally snapped back to reality at Steve's voice though.

"What's this?" Steve asked, snatching a piece of paper out of Johnny's lap. "A talent show? Please! Greasers don't do talent shows, and besides, they're for little kids. Oh, wait! I forgot! You and the idiot kid are babies! Ha!" He proceeded to laugh, unaware that he just pissed off practically the entire room.

Soda had a turmoil of emotions running through him. Betrayal; his best friend since basically diapers had insulted his baby brother. Anger; again, his best friend had insulted his brother, and it seems it has gone on for a while. Confusion; how long have his baby bro and best friend hated each other? And a bunch of other emotions.

He was about to snap at Steve, and try to make him see reason-maybe even throw in a punch or two- but Dally beat him to the punch-both literally and metaphorically. Dally, unlike Soda, only had one emotion running through him. Rage, not anger, rage. Steve had said everything wrong in Dally's book.

He, Dally, enjoyed talent shows, not that anyone knew that

He is a greaser, and will be participating in one

He is an adult

He insulted Johnny (and Ponyboy)

Steve Randle just got on his nerves

"Oi! Randle! You got something to say to Johnnyboy, you go through me! And talent shows ain't just for little kids!" Dally hollered at Steve, who hid behind Darry, cradling his jaw. That put a wrench in the others gears.

"What? You…"

"Dally," Ponyboy warned, he had a feeling Dally was gonna let something spill. "Don't. You. Dare."

Oh, but he dared. Dally was so caught up in the endless pit of red that he saw that he didn't care about the consequences. "Infact, all of us are going to be participating in that talent show."

SO sorry, I forgot to mention in the first chapter that I wouldn't be able to update for like a week.

So, here's chapter 2? (Smiles awkwardly). I know I'm dragging this story, but hopefully you like it so far? IDK, but I'm working on chapter 3, idk how long that'll take tho, and I have a softball game to watch on Tuesday, among other things, so yeah my life is pretty hectic right now.
