{Welcome to a whole god damn movie and a half. I grew up with this movie when I was... I think I was 8 when this shit came out man! I wrote this a while ago and winged it on the last names of the supporting members of the 6. I actually hope you guys hate this one.}
[Peter's theme: /watch?v=4Ewdxo5aphs ]
9:06 AM, June 5th, 2030, Daily Bugle, NY...
"Alright Electro, if you wanna vent?" A muscular man in a skin tight red and blue uniform asks as he fires a web line to a small aquarium. "THEN VENT!" He swings the huge fish tank at the man covered and sparking with yellow electricity. Causing it to shatter on impact and begin to short out his powers.
"Get ready for a factory reset!" The man rears his arm back as it charges up with yellow electricity, similar to Electro's, and throws his fist forward into Electro's face.
*CRACKLE!*
*SMASH!*
Electro is launched backward into a brick wall and collapses onto the ground, unconscious.
The man in the spider costume mutters to himself. "God, I love venom shock." He fires a spurt of webbing at the electric man and jumps out of the massive hole in the wall, making his way back home.
Just then, the editor crawls out of his hiding place with a cameraman. "Get that camera out of my face!"
"I WANT THAT WALL CRAWLING ARACHNID PROSECUTED!" J. J. Jameson yells. "I WANT HIM STRUNG UP BY HIS WEB!" He continues ranting.
"I WANT SPIDER-MAAAAAAAAN!"
10:06 PM, June 5th, 2030, Hamada Household, San Fransokyo, Japan...
The resident's eyes are glued to a high resolution TV watching the only real superhero left in the world beat down Electro.
When the fight ends with an electric explosion coming from Spider-Man.
:"God, I love Venom-Shock.": He jumps out of the giant hole in the wall while the cameraman begins to train on the editor. Prompting the three to begin to get ready for bed.
9:52 AM, June 5th, 2030, Parker Residence, Queens, NY...
Peter is walking down the stairs of his home while his Aunt is cooking them both breakfast. He moves to the front door and opens it. Just as a paperboy throws a newspaper at the door, the rapidly approaching paper is caught by him as he turns back inside. He unwraps the band around it and reads the headline.
SPIDER-MAN VS ELECTRO: REMATCH!
He looks up and notices that his aunt has a letter in her hands. "What's that May?" He walks over and takes it."San Fransokyo Institute of Technology? What is this?" Peter waves the letter around, causing May to snatch it.
"It's the best college in the world! I thought that you'd be more excited?" Peter shrugs. "The tuition must be really high then. Oh well..." May pulls out her phone and shoves it into his face. The phone screen displays information for a SFIT showcase for people who want to get in, but don't really have the money to.
"If you impress the head enough, your "tuition" will be paid for, and you'll be funded for your experiments!" Peter sighs and pinches his nose. "You're not gonna stop bothering me about this, are you?" She shakes her head no.
"Okay, I'll do it. Only because this is what Ben would want for me." May claps and hugs him tightly. "I'm so proud of you!" Peter chuckles a little.
'Guess graduating high school at 15 wasn't the worst thing.'
4:12 PM ,June 5th, 2030, Peter's Room, Parker Residence, Queens, NY...
Peter is hitting his head on his desk. Which is filled with crumpled papers and broken pencils.
"Stupid..."
*Slam!*
"Useless..."
*Bonk!*
"Head!"
Peter leans back in his chair, and begins to just work on his web shooters. "Damn, sometimes fighting huge dudes sucks... I wish I could just..." His eyes widen with an idea.
Clearing his desk, he sweeps off the loose objects and pulls out a fresh notebook and pencil. He begins to sketch a small device, when the rough sketch with labels is complete, he titles it.
SUSPENSION MATRIX!
5:09 PM, June 5th, 2030, Garage, Parker Residence, Queens, NY...
Peter is in the dimly lit garage, waiting for a 3D printer to make the shell of the Matrices by working on how to make the Matrices internals small enough to fit into the tiny shells.
A time lapse occurs with Peter beginning to fill 20 small boxes with one Suspension Matrix each. Over the span of A full month he manages to complete and make functioning Anti-Gravity devices with wires, coding, and a really dingy 3D printer.
"May!" Peter yells. "Yeah?!" She calls back. "Where am I going to stay in Japan for the showcase?!" She doesn't respond for a second.
"I know a person!"
"Who?!"
"Her name's Cass!"
8:04 AM, July 18th, 2030, San Fransokyo International Airport, Japan...
Peter steps out of the airport with a suitcase, satchel, and a pair of shades to help block out the sun. He looks around and sees a woman holding a large piece of cardboard with his name on it, next to a tall guy his age in a baseball cap.
He walks over and Introduces himself, holding his hand out for a shake. "I'm Peter... You're the Hamadas right?" Baseball hat shakes his hand. "Tadashi. And this is my aunt, Cass."
"Hey!" She greets nicely. "Let's show you to your new home." The three get into the rather small car and drive off to the house.
Arriving, Peter pulls his shades off whilst pulling his things out of the small trunk and carries them into the building. "So... How do you know May?" He asks.
"We went to high school together. We've kept in touch because of how similar our lives turned out. Only she got a well behaved kid. While I had to deal with these knuckleheads." She pulls down Tadashi to her level and takes off his hat to give him a noogie.
"Ow!" She lets go to unlock the door in order for the three of them to get inside.
The door opens with a chime as Cass calls for someone. "Hiro! Get down here!" Suddenly, something clangs against another, as the patter of bare feet on wood runs down the stairs.
A twelve year old rounds the banister and hangs off of it. "Yeah?" Tadashi introduces them. "Hiro, Peter. Peter, Hiro." The two wave at each other awkwardly. "Could you show him around?" Hiro shrugs. "Sure." He motions for Peter to follow him. "C'mon." He walks up the stairs.
Peter follows behind, easily lifting the luggage up the stairs. Hiro leads him to his room so he can place his things down. "The bathroom is down the hall, the living room and garage are downstairs, and upstairs is Tadashi and I's room."
"Cool, thanks man." Peter holds out his fist, which Hiro fist bumps. "I gotta get unpacked. Did my other things get here yet?"
"Yeah, The one heavy box and the other fourteen, right?" Peter chuckles. "Yeah, sorry, my entry experiment needed to be extra protected... I take it that they're in the closet?" Hiro nods.
"I hear that you're in highschool... It feels great to be done with it early. And you're what? Thirteen?"
"Twelve."
"Damn. You're gonna give Krei-Tech a run for their money when you're finished with college. I'm almost jealous." Peter tosses his suitcase into the room. "I'll be done in a bit. See ya Hiro." He unwraps his satchel and places it onto his bed.
He breathes out and grabs something inside his bag.
Pulling out a small framed photo and props it up. He turns to unpack other things and the photo is a younger, more frail version of himself with his Uncle and Aunt.
9:40 AM, August 11th, 2030, Hamada and Parker household, San Fransokyo, Japan...
"C'mon, not even a little hint to what it is?" Cass asks Peter, who shakes his head as he gulps down some coffee. "You're gonna have to wait until the showcase tomorrow." Cass looks at Tadashi expectantly. "Don't look at me! I'm not gonna tell you what I made either!"
Cass sighs and shoos them out of the house once they finish their breakfast, to spend the 72 degree day outside.
"What just happened?"
"My aunt just kicked us out." Tadashi sighs as he begins to walk off. "C'mon I want you to meet a few friends of mine."
"Pardon?" Tadashi continues walking away. "C'mon slowpoke!" He begins running. "Wait up man!" Peter begins to try and catch up with the laughing man.
10:20 AM, August 21st, 2030, Downtown San Fransokyo...
The two get off a trolley inside the bustling city streets. Just as Peter begins taking in being inside a large city again, he gets bumped into by someone. Killing his immersion.
"Get over here man!"
"Comin'!" Peter jogs over to Tadashi and the two walk into a mall. Tadashi immediately begins walking into a Coffee shop, Peter following close behind.
Suddenly, someone calls Tadashi in a rather large booth. He goes over and sits down with them. Peter walks over as well and leans on the booth.
"I'm Peter Parker... Tadashi's friend." He waves awkwardly, as Tadashi introduces him to the group. "Peter, this is Go Go, Fred, Wasabi, and Honey Lemon. Guys, this is the dude i've been telling you guys about."
"Hello Peter" "Wasabi" Greets.
"Sup dude!" Fred enthusiastically greets, sounding like a stoner.
"Hey!" "Honey Lemon" says in a slightly accented voice.
"Go Go" pops a gum bubble. "Welcome to the nerd group."
Peter tries to make conversation. "So... What are you guys trying to major in?" Wasabi goes first.
"Theoretical Plasma engineering. So we can cut through anything." Honey Lemon goes next. "Chemical engineering. Finding alternate solutions to problems you never knew you had."
Go Go answers next. "Electro-Mag engineering and aerodynamics." She finishes boredly.
"How about you, Fred?"
"Nah... I'm not smart enough for that, but I am a major science enthusiast! I've been asking Honey Lemon to create a formula that turns me into a giant fire-breathing Lizard at will. But apparently, that's not science."
Peter cringes at the thought. "What?" Tadashi asks. "It's just uhh..." Peter pinches the bridge of his nose and shakes his head. "I... Don't wanna talk about it right now... But I'm trying to get into Theoretical physics and Mechanical engineering."
The six begin chatting and integrating another fellow nerd into the group.
About two hours later, the conversations shift onto Fred's obsession with Superheroes and comic books. Peter wonders what each of them think about his alter ego.
"So!" Peter claps his hands. "What do you guys think about Spider-Man?"
Fred nerds out. "Classic superhero! Has a secret identity and everything! Super strength? Check! Wacky powers? Check! Witty quips? Check! Quick thinking? Checkaroo!"
{Had a facepalm moment here.}
"I like what he does, but superpowers are terrifying! Imagine what his powers did to his body!" Wasabi analyzes.
"I wanna learn how to make his webs!" The girl of Latin-American descent claims.
"He does what he can. And I appreciate that." Tadashi says in thanks.
Go Go is currently watching an older video with Spider-Man fighting the Green Goblin for the first time, and doesn't notice that she needs to speak. So Honey Lemon decides to nudge Tomago with her elbow.
"Hm? Oh. I think that he's pretty cool, I guess. But no one's seen him in a month." She shrugs.
"Just wondering, cause my old boss thought he was a menace. He turned most of New York against him." Peter claims as Tadashi pieces together who his boss was.
"Your boss was Jolly Jameson?"
"Yup, I used to take pictures of Spider-Man before I began working on my entry project." Fred stares at him expectantly. "And I have some old ones on my phone. I can send them to you, if you'd like?"
"Heck yeah! Send em' over!" Peter shakes his head and pulls out his phone. "What's your number?"
Fred tells him and Peter sends over his photo folder to his phone. "Sweet!" Suddenly an officer in a separate booth gets a call for a Bank robbery. Peter stands up.
"I gotta go take care of something really fast. I'll be right back!" He runs through the door and runs into an unpopulated alley. Quickly changing into the Spider-Man uniform.
"Back at it again, huh Pete?" He fires two web lines onto the sides of the alley and uses the elasticity to launch up into the air, over a building. And start swinging.
"WOOOOHOOOO!" Peter swings next to the group's window at a breakneck speed. Making his way to the aforementioned bank. Finding a group of people running out with bags of money and a lot of guns.
Landing on a nearby lamppost he begins to crack a joke. "First crime that I'm busting in the most advanced city in the world, and you only have guns? Really? Couldn't have robbed an experimental weapons lab?"
"It's Spider-Man!" One of the criminals yells.
Peter flips to a spot in front of them and gets into a fighting pose, fist sparking with golden electricity. "Put your guns down and come quietly and I won't have to hurt you."
They all toss their guns to the side. "Yeah, alright!" They throw their hands up.
Peter stands up and mutters. "That was easier than I thought." He turns around and waves awkwardly, unfamiliar to the cheering from a large group of people.
"Welcome to San Fransokyo Spider-Man!"
"Thank you, whoever said that!"
*THWIP!*
Peter swings off into the distance. Back to the mall.
6:36 PM, August 11th, 2030, Residential side of San Fransokyo...
The sun is setting as the group of six walk along a sidewalk, chatting. When all of a sudden...
*Spider-Sense.*
A speeding bike wobbles off of the bike path and almost collides with the group. Peter pulls Go Go over to prevent the collision. The Bike messenger yelling sorry as they regain their bearings and continue to speed down the hill.
"Great reflexes." Honey Lemon complements as Go Go pushes Peter's hands away. "Yeah, what she said."
Fred looks at him a little suspiciously before shrugging it off. 'There's no way that he has superpowers...'
Tadashi checks his watch. "Shoot. Peter and I gotta go. Last minute touches." The others nod as the two run off.
Wasabi takes the reigns of the conversation. "What's your guy's first impressions of Peter?"
Fred goes first. "Small chance he might have superpowers, a very small one." He nearly pinches his index finger and thumb together to try and emphasize his point.
"He's like a super genius. It's gonna be so much fun working with him!" Lemon lightly cheers.
Go Go pops another bubble. "He's alright." Her monotone voice approves.
"I like that he cares about safety precautions. Unlike everyone else here." Wasabi deadpans.
Go Go tosses her hands up. "I've had enough of this. Bye." She leaves as the others wave.
8:29 AM, August 12th, 2030, Hamada and Parker household, San Fransokyo, Japan...
"HUAGH!" Peter startles awake with a tiny bit of drool coming from his mouth. He sits up and wipes his mouth with his muscled forearm.
*BEEP! BEE-!*
He flicks a switch on his alarm clock and stretches. "Gotta get used to fighting people late at night again." He mutters before getting up and tossing some casual clothes on. He walks out of his room slightly groggily.
Mochi circles his feet and Peter scratches his head. "Good boy." Aunt Cass notices that he's awake. "Morning Peter! How'd you sleep?" Peter yawns deeply. "Pretty good. Are Tadashi and Hiro up?" She shakes her head right before someone falls down the stairs. Peter looks over to see a wide awake Tadashi in a mess of contorted limbs.
"Morning!"
"Morning..." Tadashi groans in pain. "What's for breakfast?"
"Blueberry-Chocolate-Pancakes. Now wake your brother up!" Hiro then yells down the stairs. "No need! I'm up."
Dashing down the stairs, Hiro stops before he accidentally steps on his brother. "Whoa! What happened to you?"
"I don't wanna talk about it." Tadashi gets up. "I hope that i'm not too bruised for the expo." The three make their way to some chairs at the table with empty plates of soon to be filled with doughy deliciousness.
Cass places a ridiculous amount of flapjacks. Which are immediately devoured by the two teens and pre-teen.
Peter and Tadashi both finish at once and stand up. "Gotta go!"
"We gotta make sure that our things are safe to present!" The two race down the stairs and into the Garage. Them both taking something of theirs and test it like no tomorrow. So engulfed in their own work that they don't even notice what the other has.
6:45 PM, August 12th, SFIT Showcase Building...
Peter is holding a small containment box next to Tadashi, who is holding a cart full of things on the bottom of the ramp to the contestant entrance.
"Here it is."
"Yup." Tadashi nods dumbly.
"Our ticket to becoming some of the best science nerds the world will ever see."
"You said it man." Tadashi and Peter are still frozen in place as Fred slaps them both on their shoulders. "You both'll do fine. Now get in there!" He tries to push Peter forward, and ends up trying to use his whole body to try and make him move a centimeter.
"You... Agh... Are like a literal brick wall dude!" Peter, still internally nerding out and worrying at every single possibility that could happen. Takes a deep breath in and out, before steadying himself and walking up the smooth concrete ramp. Opening the door and beginning to lay out his things in a dark corner of the showcase stage.
The others walk in with their projects, as Peter sits down on the floor.
"Anybody got a pep-talk? Cause i'm losing my cool over here." Wasabi tries too take a crack at it. "If none of us can't get in... We'll still have- Oh what the heck, We're all gonna crash aren't we?"
Go Go sighs. "All of you, stop whining. Woman up."
"That... Somehow brought my morale back up. Thanks Go Go." He stands back up and grabs his collapsed Matrix out of his bag. Waiting for his turn to be called up.
:"First up... Honey Dubois.":
Honey Lemon perks up. "That's me! Gotta go!" She grabs her invention and showcases it well, after a wobbly start.
:"Next up... Deonte No-Ginger.":
Pretty much the same thing happens with Wasabi and the others minus Fred, until it becomes Peter's Turn.
:"Next... Peter Parker.":
Peter nervously puts his Matrix his pocket, and walks up to the stage with a given mic.
"Uh, Hello..." The speakers ring causing him to chuckle nervously. "Sorry!" He closes his eyes and takes a breath.
"My name is Peter Parker, and I've been developing something that I'd like to think is awesome. I hope that you could find a use for it in your everyday life." Peter holds up a crimson Matrix and powers it on.
"This, is a Suspension Matrix. Right now it sort of looks like a collapsible frisbee. But when it's turned on, things can get pretty wild." He tosses it onto the ground. Causing it to emit a blue light, before creating a large dome of grayish blue energy.
"These Matrices are powered by rechargeable Lithium Ion batteries. So if it runs out of charge, you don't really need a new one." He steps into the dome and starts floating. "You're probably wondering what these do, huh?" The crowd nods and mutters to each other quietly.
"It's a portable and affordable Anti-Gravity Device. I literally made the prototype out of a box of scraps, so these shouldn't explode in your face." Peter jokes lightly. "These things have three settings. Zero-G, Which I just showcased. Buoyancy." Peter starts to bounce up and down until his body is at the top of the device as the dome changes to a cylinder shape.
"For saving someone who's fallen from a great height. And detainment." Peter's body is surrounded by a cyan aura and frozen in place. "For a non harmful way to lock up petty criminals. Potentially stopping a shootout." Peter says Zero-G again and contorts his body upright.
"Did I forget to mention that they're voice activated and locked?" Peter smiles before saying the word Deactivate.
"These can be used for the lifting of any heavy thing, as long as it can be inside the dome. There is no limit to the weight you can put into it because the object or objects become the weight of nothing."
Peter grabs the device off of the floor and lightly smiles. "Thanks for seeing what I had to show. Have a good night everybody." Peter walks off the stage and next to his newly made friends.
"At least it wasn't like that time the Juggernaut threw me out of a twenty story window while I was trying to give a presentation to Horizon High." Everyone just looks at him with wide eyes.
"TMI Peter." Honey Lemon says while the others just nod.
Peter shrugs with a sorry look on his face. "I'm nervous alright. You guys can't say you aren't"
"I'm not." Fred says in a cheery tone.
*Smack!*
"You aren't even competing, doofus." Go Go says after smacking the back of his head.
Wasabi tries to calm everyone down. "Let's just chill out, when we get our results, we can panic. But right now we have no reason to." Wasabi reasons.
"Wasabi's right. If we expect disappointment, that's all we're going to get." Tadashi agrees.
"Mister Hamada is correct. You are all talented individuals. But if one always expects the worst. How can they ever find the best?"
"M-Mister Callaghan!" Honey Lemon stutters out to the graying haired man.
He pulls out five letters from his back-left pant pocket. "I look forward to seeing you five in class." He looks over to Fred. "And I imagine that you don't want to spend all day away from your friends... Luckily it seems that we've been looking for a new mascot for our baseball team. Are you all interested? Because I'd hate to pass up the opportunity to have such talented individuals come to my class."
8:25 PM, August 12th, SFIT Showcase Building's Front Doors...
The glass doors burst open with the six cheering or smiling, with Fred announcing that Food is on him.
"How do you even have the money for that?" Tadashi asks.
"I just do." he shrugs and walks off, with the group, minus Peter, to his desired location.
Peter raises his head to the moonlit and light polluted sky, as he closes his eyes and whispers to himself.
"I hope you're proud of me, Uncle Ben."
{Here's my attempt at Omakes... I guess...}
Omake #1
4:32 PM, September 20th, 2030, Ito Ishioka Robotics Lab, San Fransokyo, Japan...
Peter has a pair of earbuds in, singing a song to himself while working on a school project on seismic activity, unbeknownst to himself, his friends are recording with slacked jaws.
He turns around with closed eyes and continues singing.
Fred sneezes causing Peter to go wide eyed and make a weird yelp.
"What the hell guys?!"
Omake #2
12:20 PM, September 28th, SFIT Freshman lecture Room...
The five that are actually in the school are attending a class that is being taught by Otto Octavius on the matter of Fusion generators.
Suddenly, Peter's Spider-Sense goes off, prompting him to jump up and yell "bathroom". And sprint out of the room and into a bathroom, changing into his uniform in a stall and crawl through a window to swing off.
Ten minutes later, he puts his clothes back on and runs off back to class. He gets into the room quietly, sits down, and asks Wasabi something.
"What'd I miss?"
"Just professor Octavius explaining a small amount of his personal life with fusion energy." He takes a sip of something in his thermos. "And Spider-Man beat up people with firearms."
Peter blinks. "Huh."
